painted the exterior of our duplex as well as replacing window sills in both the duplex and our personal home we felt that he paid special attention to our individual needs. His advice to us was sound and we were pleased with the professionalism of his crew as well. When he spent time at our rental property we were happy to know that he was also very respectful to our tenants. Their comment to us was that we seem to find the nicest people to do work for us. "He met me to review the list of repairs I needed -- I thought he would
just assess and provide estimates.. but no.. he wanted to fix it right
there on the spot!
This was a welcome surprise and he got his tool kit out and began to fix
my sliding door and front door right then and there. I was very
impressed by his willingness to help out and not even ask for any
compensation. Beyond that, he helped me "fix" a wetbar faucet which I
thought was broken. Other contractors had said I would need it replaced;
after inspecting the pipes and faucet for a few minutes, he figured it
was just an old handle that needed to be lifted up in a special way. It
worked perfectly -- and he easily saved me an unnecessary $150-300.
Great guy and great help -- my only minor nits were he was about 20
minutes late on our agreed upon time. He is very passionate and
conversant; and has admittedly even said he can be guilty of "talking
too much", but this was not much of a negative as he was very friendly
and humble. You must ask him about his story of starting his own
business -- a very inspiring one! :)"

"I bought two three-hour packages as part of a Big Deal. came for the first visit, and though he was here for more than an hour, gave me credit for five hours for his return visit. In the first trip, he put the screen door back on its track (I hadn't been able to get it on in numerous tries) and evaluated the other jobs I wanted done. He took measurements for baseboards and trim, looked at the plasterwork and baseboard repair on several walls and in the bathroom, and evaluated the garage door situation. He then told me very clearly what it would cost in materials to do all the work, including the finish carpentry, showing me a catalog of possible trim styles, and scheduled his return.
When he came back, right on time, he immediately got to work and did a great job. He installed two springs on the garage door (which now operates better than it ever did), put in all the baseboard and trim throughout the hall, living room, and front kitchen, caulked everything, reinstalled the baseboard in the bathroom (I had a leak awhile ago, and it needed repair), patched a lot of cosmetic plaster cracks, and finished within the time I had paid for.
He talked about what I needed to do to finish the plaster repairs; he noted that I could do it myself or call him if I preferred not to, and offered me a deal on painting. We also talked about some of the other work needed around the house. I loved that he gave great suggestions and didn't push for more work, but was more than willing to come back. I liked the fact that he knew a lot about a lot of different things, just the way a should.

" provided excellent service. I was in need of removing an extra closet door and frame from my living room (I know, a weird request) and was a thoughtful and excellent listener to my problem at hand. We discussed many different options as a plan of execution - and I am more than happy with the end result - a seamlessly, clean Living Room wall. I also requested and additional job of buffing and refinish the wood floors in all rooms of the home. He did an outstanding job and which I am very happy I used Angieslist to find him as a resource. He was easy to talk to and very good guy, full of good suggestions and ideas (a "no pressure" guy). He was able to squeeze the work I requested into his schedule - and for that I am most appreciative for. I will be using him the future - and I would strongly recommend the work that he had performed on my home."

Nothing too complex, just some plumbing and electrical fixes, but came in and fixed everything with a speed and ease that I frankly found a little embarrassing. He probably had everything fixed in about the time it would have taken me to gather all the tools I'd need. Very friendly and professional. The confidence in their competence was worth the somewhat higher cost they charge."

" came out promptly to look at the job; we received an estimate the next day, liked it, and scheduled the work. The roof joist repair was finished on the appointed day, but it was raining, so the concrete work needed to wall out the skunks couldn't be done until the following Monday -- which it was. All the work seemed very competent, and we're especially pleased with the patching of the foundation: they dug a trench alongside the foundation wall, placed wire screen in it, and filled it with concrete to burrowing, and it looks great. Our interactions with the business office people were likewise unfailingly professional and pleasant. Everything was done on time and within the estimate, and our expectations were exceeded. we've got an old house that often needs a little work, and we will surely be calling again."

"The service was great. The who came to do the work explained everything he would do and came up with a nifty solution for the electrical wires to expedite the work. The pane replacement was of excellent quality. I would hire this company again, but would see if I could buy the supplies myself, as there is a charge for the time spent to get the supplies, as well as a markup on supplies."

"We had contacted a couple of other people regarding this project and we received bids from $400 to $800. Since my husband had assembled our previous one we felt these bids were high. Then we spoke to who quoted us a much more reasonable rate. He called twice to confirm the time because we were worried about rain. He showed up promptly and finished the work quickly and efficiently. It's a large gazebo so it did take him about a 1/2 hour longer than expected, but we are thorougly happy with the work. We are looking forward to working with again in the future."
