"We found through a friend's referral. They were definitely a good price vs. other vendors. We started out by having them put in hardwood and carpet in a house we bought in 2007. Everything has held up beautifully. They also made 3 rugs. We have since decided to replace the carpet with hardwood and in 2/2011 have ordered the replacement wood. we've also sent them a lot of referrals and everyone we know who has used them has been satisfied. We dealt with Majek and . They are very professional. They have good installers. We would definitely work with them again."

"Construction master did a total remodel for one of my apartment unit. The owner, is excellent.
is at the job everyday. He is always on top of everything and he doesn't mind to spend extra efforts to make the job perfect.
He remodeled entire kitchen with granite counter tops and full granite back splash. His tile works were beautifully done. He completed the job earlier than he promised.
I highly recommend and will continue work with him in the future."

"Ciro is amazing to work with and I will always call him for my projects. I'm an interior designer and I have very high expectations of all the trades I work with. Ciro meets or exceeds those expectations consistently."

"My husband did some of the repair to our floors himself--- was 100% helpful. They gave him ideas of where to go and even a few tips on how to do what he wanted to do. Service above-and-beyond. Very pro. Very nice."

"This is an outstanding company! I cannot say enough. We had put off this job due to apprehension since we knew a kitchen remodel can be daunting. Not so, with this company. They are amazing. , the owner, could not be more attentive to detail and the exact image I wanted for . In the end, far exceeded what we had anticipated. His entire crew were amazing and so nice to deal with from start to finish."

" was great and very upfront and knowledgeable on carpet. Other companies I received estimates from focused more on the promotions such as free install, no tax or free carpet for rooms. In the end, was either the same price or lower than the other quotes. I person came to install the carpet. He was very professional, explained what would be involved in the installation and cleaned up before leaving."

"I think it was fine. It wasn't a huge job and I haven't seen it because I haven't been back up there, but from the reports from the caregiver it seems to have gone well and seems to match fine. It was hard because I used them long distance and got them from Angie's List. It was a very small job, and I don't know what it would be like if I had a really huge job. I don't know how it would be if I had been there to see what they were doing. I have nothing to compare the price to. From what they used, I went and looked at a local place to see what was chosen to put in. He had recommended something and I went and looked at that brand. I actually ended up choosing another color that I thought would go better, which was slightly different. Working with them was great. They came when they said they were going to come, they finished up when they said they would. "

"Mr. returned my initial calls timely and appeared for his bid on time. He stopped being timely once he had my check in his hand (for materials and half the labor). He started the job a day late because his workers ditched him for a better paying job. He said this is a constant problem, from which I deduced that that's why his bid was $1,000 lower than the other 4 bids I received: He underpays his workers and they jump ship for even $50 more from someone else. He said the job would take 4 days. It took almost 2 weeks. He complained that he was often late and left early because he was overextended with too much other work to attend to. He dinged and gouged and chipped every floor, wall, cupboard and molding he came near; his clean-up was substandard with dust everywhere and grout mud left on every wall. The placement of tile design was artless and flat out wrong on every floor. Now that it's all cemented in place I have to learn to live with it. Three days into the job he called to ask me to advance him $500 from what I owed him, to pay his worker. I said "no," he'd get the money when the job was done, as agreed. He hung up on me. And his attitude after that was not exactly unpleasant, but it was strained. It was further strained after I pleaded with him to stop gouging and banging up my apartment. He never prepared a detailed bid or produced receipts for materials; he just wrote a figure on a form, showed it to me, then took it back. He wasn't prepared to place thresholds in the spaces where the tile met the hardwood floors, and left me to hire my wood floor man to make and install them (more time, money and nuisance for me). Altogether a very unhappy experience for me. Mr. is friendly and seems to know what he's talking about, and I believe he's an honest soul, but he's not a reliable professional, and he certainly lacks the artistry required for placing tiles in a pleasing and correct manner. Of course he was unable to show up on time at 9am when I leave for work, so I had to give him house keys to let himself in at his leisure. So, I wasn't there to supervise closely. I really didn't think I needed to. He represented himself as a true experienced professional. I learned the hard way that you really do get what you pay for. I thought I would save on labor in order to afford nicer tiles and stay on budget. Wrong choice."

" (owner of ) responded to our initial inquiry promptly, and met us at our house the next day, on time. He explained our options clearly and his knowledge was evident. As we talked about the project, he suggested things that cost us less, but would work better than our initial ideas. Instead of a hard sell, gave us a list of previous customers where we could see his completed work. One was nearby and we were quite impressed with what we saw. The customers were quite happy and the work was first rate. provides only construction design, labor and basic construction materials (paint, wallboard, etc), not tile and fixtures. does not want to chose patterns, colors, furniture and so forth -- this he leaves to the customer with some suggestions, such as a tile store that he works closely with. He will also counsel his customers about materials, prices and vendors. He wants most of the materials purchased and delivered before he starts, so that his folks aren't left hanging because the shower fixtures haven't arrived. This process will take about a month. Our project was done in stages, since we would have all 3 bathrooms out of commission at some point or other. So we did the refurbishments first. Two bathrooms had their flooring and fixtures removed, paint stripped and walls sanded. All tile was left in place, as were the shower, tub and vanities. Underfloor wood was checked for rot and a few places were patched (part of deal). New vent fans installed, new lighting and fixtures. Walls re-mudded and painted. All wood work repainted, new mirror hung, some wood in built-in vanities replaced at extra charge. His workers were at all times professional, clean and respectful of the house. Duration: about 8 days, working 6 days a week. The big job involved utterly gutting one bathroom down to the studs. A non-supporting wall (and closet) was removed to create more space in the bathroom. The floor was removed and rebuilt, and all the room's plumbing was replaced. A modern shower was built, with several shower heads, tile walls, wall boxes, seat and semi-frame-less glass enclosure. New toilet, vanity, mirrors, fixtures, floor tile, fan/vent, lighting and electrical. Recessed medicine cabinet added. This part of the project took about 3 weeks. All project items were permitted and passed inspection. Two minor items required fixing afterward, and 's people came and did the fixes quickly and without issue. From contract signing, though our tile/fixture/vanity to the final inspection sign-off took about 2 months. At no time, however, did we feel occupied, abandoned or anything but in good hands. You hear all kinds of horror stories about remodel projects, but isn't one of them. It has been nearly a year now, and I'm as happy with the work as I was when it finished. We recommend and to anyone without reservation."

"Overall the job went great. The staff at was actually a lot of fun to work with, they were all happy and fun spirited. We had been thinking of doing his room addition for about several of months now, and were unsure of the all the specific details, but when we meet they helped us through the entire process. They got our plans ready in record time, and started the project within a week of getting the city?s approval. We were very impressed of the pace of work, it seemed like as soon as one group was done with what they were doing, there was another group gentlemen ready to start the next phase of work. We are very happy with the final result, and will definitely recommend to any other Angie?s list members. (We used them even though they were more expensive than the other contractors, simply because we trusted them and because they were very experienced, so we felt very comfortable having them work on our home.)"
