"I bought two three-hour packages as part of a Big Deal.
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
came for the first visit, and though he was here for more than an hour, gave me credit for five hours for his return visit.  In the first trip, he put the screen door back on its track (I hadn't been able to get it on in numerous tries) and evaluated the other jobs I wanted done.  He took measurements for baseboards and trim, looked at the plasterwork and baseboard repair on several walls and in the bathroom, and evaluated the garage door situation.  He then told me very clearly what it would cost in materials to do all the work, including the finish carpentry, showing me a catalog of possible trim styles, and scheduled his return. When he came back, right on time, he immediately got to work and did a great job.  He installed two springs on the garage door (which now operates better than it ever did), put in all the baseboard and trim throughout the hall, living room, and front kitchen, caulked everything, reinstalled the baseboard in the bathroom (I had a leak awhile ago, and it needed repair), patched a lot of cosmetic plaster cracks, and finished within the time I had paid for. He talked about what I needed to do to finish the plaster repairs; he noted that I could do it myself or call him if I preferred not to, and offered me a deal on painting.  We also talked about some of the other work needed around the house.  I loved that he gave great suggestions and didn't push for more work, but was more than willing to come back.  I liked the fact that he knew a lot about a lot of different things, just the way a

should. Can't wait to have him back!

"I used Angie's List to find
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and called him.  He called the same day, was very courteous and said he was backed up with work, but that he would put me on the list and would call as he got closer to being able to do the job.  He said don't worry, he wouldn't forget me.  True to his word, he called last week and we set up a time he could come out.  He checked all the doors in the house, adjusted a couple of them and found the problem with the bi-fold closet door in the bedroom.  It kept coming off track.  He certainly seems to know his business.  Very personable and reliable.  I would call him again if I needed doors fixed."

"This is actually the second time
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
has been to our house, because they did such a great job-on different doors of course- the first time. Our house has a
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
collection of old, mis-matched, worn-out and (once) poorly functioning exterior sliding glass doors. These guys removed, disassembled, repaired, reassembled and re-installed them perfectly. They now function superbly. And when they finished, they left absolutely no evidence they had been there-not even a fingerprint on the glass! I am an architect and work with many contractors and subcontractors, and I can say without reservation that these guys are first-rate in every way. Bill and

"Construction master did a total remodel for one of my apartment unit. The owner,
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is excellent.
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is at the job everyday. He is always on top of everything and he doesn't mind to spend extra efforts to make the job perfect. He remodeled entire kitchen with granite counter tops and full granite back splash. His tile works were beautifully done. He completed the job earlier than he promised. I highly recommend
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and will continue work with him in the future.

"I've used
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
for several projects, including painting and custom cabinetry, so was very confident in
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's ability to supply the right products and an outstanding crew. After debating for 3 months, though, I decided against replacing my windows because of the substantial-for-me cost: roughly $15,000 for high-quality ones. But when
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
notified me in Nov. that his chosen supplier, Superior Windows & Doors, had dropped the price drastically on its best-model windows, I jumped.
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
cut his price on the windows & labor to $9,000, which ? after the $1,500 tax credit ? would reduce my cost to $7,500, or half the original bid. His guys came & measured the windows twice -- retrofits have to be perfect to fit well -- & the windows were ready a few weeks later. The crew spent 1 day putting in the 3 sliding doors, & a 2nd day installing about 15 windows. The quality of the windows is superb -- the dual-pane glass seems to be straighter & clearer than its low-end predecessor -- & they slide like butter. The installation is also so flawless you'd never know they were retrofits: perfect corners, invisible putty or caulk, no gaps whatsoever, not noticeably wider than the original frames. Per usual,
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's crew was friendly, polite & very low-key. I work at home, & there were no loud radios or unnecessary interruptions. But if you're installing energy-efficient windows, beware: "Low-E" glass is darkly tinted, and it **WILL** make your house darker! Mine is shady to begin with, and once all the windows were in, the light was cut by 10 - 20%. I called
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
in agony, & he quickly came over & assessed the situation. He recommended solar tubes for the living room, and ordered them for me -- about $600 apiece -- with no markup of his own. Not cheap, but much less costly than replacing the windows again or installing regular skylights at 3-4 times the cost. The solar tube guys were starkly different from
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's crews -- they reeked of cigarettes and looked like they'd been out partying all night, though their work seems solid enough. The solar tubes did indeed lighten up the room to its pre-low-E state, & perhaps more. But they looked like UFOs floating in the ceiling: weird disks more like florescent light than sunlight, & the light from them was decidedly bluish. I was again thoroughly depressed until I discovered there are "warming filters" --
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
amber colored pieces of plastic -- that can be slipped under the lenses. I had them put in a week later. It's still not like sunlight, but is infinitely better than it was pre-filter.
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
scores high points with me for his willingness to address the problem asap. I will also say that the other manufacturers I talked with, & everything I read online, said the lighting change from low-E glass is imperceptible. WRONG -- it?s not! Nor did catch it when I visited another customer's house because it was an
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
day. If I had it to do over again, I would've skipped the tax credit & just done clear double-pane windows. But under the circumstances, this was the best possible scenario. I think the issue with contractors isn't whether things go wrong ? since they often do -- but how the contractor deals with them.
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is exemplary on that score. He even had his guys wash the windows thoroughly once they were installed. Btw, my final cost was more than $10,200 ($9000 windows + $1,200 solar tubes) because I also had the windows tested for lead by a lead specialist (about $300) & had to pay ADT to reposition my alarm sensors (another $300.)

"The project went from a scenario left by the prior contractor which was the most stressful and nightmarish thing you could imagine: no kitchen, out tens of thousands of dollars, open sewer line, bare live wires, and then having to start over at zero, to next fining
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List. They calmed my nerves, helped me with decisions, kept constant communications and clearly spoke to me in terms I could understand. I had dreamed of a beautiful kitchen but what I ended up with is far better than I could have ever imagined."

"Took a long time to find the right contractor to tackle this complicated project and

is the guy. We felt confident that the best ideas were on the table when discussing the project and were pleased at every step of the way. We are still finishing up on the work and

"I was impressed with the pleasant conversation with
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, who answered the phone and took down my information. We scheduled the estimate for later in the week. When the installer arrived, he measured and gave me a price for both doors and hardware. We scheduled the installation later in the day when
Los Angeles Door Installers Provider Name Locked
called to say that they had everything they needed for my installation in stock. I am very pleased with the doors. I must not be used to having garage doors that work so easily because a month later, I found I had forgotten to put my car away late one night. I ran out, opened the door and started to drive inside. Unfortunately, I had not allowed the door to fully open and I damaged the bottom section. I scheduled another visit by the installer. He quickly listed what he would need and scheduled the repairs for the end of the week. I was very pleased with the timely way we could schedule the installation and repairs. This company has been very responsive and pleasant to do business with."

"These brothers were great to work with, informed and proficient with a sense of humor. They advised us on the paint and that's why I waited a year to comment. The paint has held up well and I am glad that I trusted their judgement. If I need painting I would call these guys with confidence!"
