" was easy to get a hold of, and came out to my home for an estimate. I wasn't sure if the gate which had been damaged by the toppled tree could be salvaged (it was only partly affected), but he indicated only the damaged portion needed to be replaced, which was fine (preferable, actually) with me. For the second gate, proposed putting a "splint" in place anchored to an adjacent tree to raise the gate and allow it to close. I thought it was a clever and cost-effective solution.
He came at the agreed-upon time, was responsive to my emails and phone calls, and the final price was consistent with his estimate. I was satisfied with his work, and will use his services again in the future.

"I've used for several projects, including painting and custom cabinetry, so was very confident in 's ability to supply the right products and an outstanding crew. After debating for 3 months, though, I decided against replacing my windows because of the substantial-for-me cost: roughly $15,000 for high-quality ones.
But when notified me in Nov. that his chosen supplier, Superior Windows & Doors, had dropped the price drastically on its best-model windows, I jumped. cut his price on the windows & labor to $9,000, which ? after the $1,500 tax credit ? would reduce my cost to $7,500, or half the original bid. His guys came & measured the windows twice -- retrofits have to be perfect to fit well -- & the windows were ready a few weeks later. The crew spent 1 day putting in the 3 sliding doors, & a 2nd day installing about 15 windows.
The quality of the windows is superb -- the dual-pane glass seems to be straighter & clearer than its low-end predecessor -- & they slide like butter. The installation is also so flawless you'd never know they were retrofits: perfect corners, invisible putty or caulk, no gaps whatsoever, not noticeably wider than the original frames. Per usual, 's crew was friendly, polite & very low-key. I work at home, & there were no loud radios or unnecessary interruptions.
But if you're installing energy-efficient windows, beware: "Low-E" glass is darkly tinted, and it **WILL** make your house darker! Mine is shady to begin with, and once all the windows were in, the light was cut by 10 - 20%. I called in agony, & he quickly came over & assessed the situation. He recommended solar tubes for the living room, and ordered them for me -- about $600 apiece -- with no markup of his own. Not cheap, but much less costly than replacing the windows again or installing regular skylights at 3-4 times the cost.
The solar tube guys were starkly different from 's crews -- they reeked of cigarettes and looked like they'd been out partying all night, though their work seems solid enough. The solar tubes did indeed lighten up the room to its pre-low-E state, & perhaps more. But they looked like UFOs floating in the ceiling: weird disks more like florescent light than sunlight, & the light from them was decidedly bluish. I was again thoroughly depressed until I discovered there are "warming filters" -- amber colored pieces of plastic -- that can be slipped under the lenses. I had them put in a week later. It's still not like sunlight, but is infinitely better than it was pre-filter.
scores high points with me for his willingness to address the problem asap. I will also say that the other manufacturers I talked with, & everything I read online, said the lighting change from low-E glass is imperceptible. WRONG -- it?s not! Nor did catch it when I visited another customer's house because it was an day. If I had it to do over again, I would've skipped the tax credit & just done clear double-pane windows. But under the circumstances, this was the best possible scenario. I think the issue with contractors isn't whether things go wrong ? since they often do -- but how the contractor deals with them. is exemplary on that score. He even had his guys wash the windows thoroughly once they were installed.
Btw, my final cost was more than $10,200 ($9000 windows + $1,200 solar tubes) because I also had the windows tested for lead by a lead specialist (about $300) & had to pay ADT to reposition my alarm sensors (another $300.)"

"Ciro is amazing to work with and I will always call him for my projects. I'm an interior designer and I have very high expectations of all the trades I work with. Ciro meets or exceeds those expectations consistently."

"I spent $400 on that work and I thought that it. They used a product which sort of like liquid wood and they applied it to the area that was dug out and painted over it when it was dry. I liked that he just worked right away and did not stop to talk. He did not take a lot of breaks or smoke and I thought that he had excellent professional skills and work ethic. "

"I hired Field to build custom bookcases in two rooms, remove existing bookcases and install french doors in two entryways. This was the worst work ever performed by anyone I have ever hired in any of the 4 homes I owned in my lifetime. First off there was excuse after excuse as to why work was not being done (it's raining outside or it's too hot to paint), why he didn't show up, why items ordered has not been delivered yet. After calling and calling and asking what's going on and why aren't things done he tells me he's getting frustrated with us and we need to let him finish his work. I'm sorry - when you spend $6000 for something you kind of expect something in return other then 'I'm working on it - your my only project right now'. We're now going on 2 months and the bookcases still aren't finished. The quality of whats been installed thus far is sub-par at best. Paint is uneven, his work crew chipped shelves as they were installing. Crown molding at the top of the bookcases is uneven. I should have hired monkeys from the zoo and paid them in bananas - I would have received a better bookcase. I've had two other carpenters come in to review the work and bid on finishing it and they both agreed this was a 7 day job at most and should have cost around $4000 since mostly MDF was used. Save yourself the headache and find someone else to hire."

" is great because he always either answers his phone immediately or calls back within the hour. He is very specific about when he is coming and is very punctual - a godsend in any contractor. He's accurate about estimating how long it will take him to do a job and so his estimates of cost are on target. And I think very reasonable.Conceptually he "gets it". And he asks enough questions to really know what you want so I trust him to do it the way I want. I've found a lot of other handymen make assuptions and don't ask questions and you end up with something you didn't want. I'm very happy to have do projects at my house and his skill level is high so I would trust him with anything I can think of."

" did a spectacular job on the exterior remodel of our home. They were happy to answer any of our questions regarding the project. They came out and gave us an estimate for the job, which was very reasonable. They showed up on time and no matter how very hot it was outside, got the job quickly and professionally. The guys are very skilled and knowledgeable; I was impressed by their attention to detail and quality of work. The house looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Very nice and polite people. I would recommend his company to any of my friends. Thank you, Brigda."

"From the minute I met the owner of the company, I knew that was a different kind of contractor. The estimate was more detailed than any other I've ever seen, and the price was very competitive. I knew that the numbers I saw were the numbers I was going to pay because everything had been painstakingly itemized. And by the time the job was finished, the only overages were the ones we created by changing our minds. The crew was lightning fast, always on time and remarkably courteous. Even on a job of this size, there were very few mistakes. And the ones that did occur were fixed immediately without any complaints. The final work on every project was impeccable, and the attention to detail was sometimes even above my own standards.
The most remarkable part of the whole story was when I had to suspend the project just before completion due to a layoff, The owner of helped me create a working solution so that we could get back into our house and tackle all remaining work one project at a time as money allowed. I never once felt like I had been written off even though I was no longer a steady source of income for them. took great care of me and my family from start to finish, and I've recommended them to everyone who asks."
