Las Vegas Transmission Shops Reviews

"The automatic transmission went out in my 2002 Ford Mustang. After checking around for costs on repairing or replacing it, I went with
Las Vegas Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
because of previous good experiences with their service department.
I was kept up to date about what was wrong and what eventual costs would be. As I planned on keeping the car for a few more years,
I opted for a new, not rebuilt transmission. The savings wasn't that much of a difference but the warranty was.
I was also introduced to the mechanic who would do the actual work.
I highly recommend their service department.

"They overcharged me for work that didn't need to be done, and then did it poorly to boot. When I complained to them afterwards,

, the Manager yelled and hung up on me. He lied to my credit card and said that he was willing to work with me, which I doubt since he hung up on me. I only wish that I would have researched this place before going. It was a costly mistake and one that I won't do again. "

"They are knowledgeable.
Las Vegas Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
has access to a help line with a national transmission assistance. He was diligent in updating the approximate time and update of service. He personally tested the vehicle. He compensated that mileage and put gas in the vehicle. He has been honored in the Better Business Bureau for his transmission work. He was very friendly with his customer service. He includes an unlimited mileage one-year warranty."

"We came in a few days prior to make an appointment. We brought the car in on Tuesday morning and, as promised, it was ready for pick up on Wednesday afternoon. They had called up to let us know about another problem, the power steering hose had a slight leak. They were not sure if it was still covered under our warranty so they gave us the option to make a few calls. We have since found out it was not covered and we will be bringing the car back to
Las Vegas Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
for them to do the repair. We got a 10% discount by showing our AAA card. The gentlemen we were dealing with were personable and had good communication skills - I like to be informed as things progress. Yes, we will be using them again in the near future.

"They did an alright job, but I did feel they tried to mislead me. We had a warranty on my car, so the transmission was covered under it, but then they tried to charge me for labor. I did have to argue on that and they finally agreed to let that price slide and just said that was my 30,000 mile check up. I have used them in the past and will continue to, because of the kind of car we have, but I will stay on top of things."

"Chevrolet had put too much transmission fluid in my car which caused it to shift hard. Took it to
Las Vegas Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
in May 2005, they told me I needed to have my transmission rebuilt for $2,600 (with only 62,000 miles on it) and that they could finance me, but they'd have to keep the car until I paid it off. I knew the stuff he was telling me was false, so I drove it down the street to a Jiffy

to have the transmission flushed and the correct amount of fluid put in. The car has driven fine ever since and it is over a year and a half later! These guys are scam artists. Do not use them!

"(JOB 1)

was extremely polite, and keep in communication with me through the entire process. Work took less time than estimated, price quoted was exactly what I was charged. I was completely satisfied with the work (which included a free follow-up inspection) and highly recommend this business. Price was approximately half of what the local jeep dealership quoted me. had repaired my transmission a few months ago and when I noticed a leak, I took it back for a free check-up. They found another issue, but completed that repair (and replaced some bolts) for $90. My car was ready on time, at the exact price agreed to.

"I had taken my

there due to a noise in my transmission and they replaced the gasket costing me $300.00. A few days later, I returned as the gasket was leaking, and I wanted to have my vehicle inspected. They told me there wasn't anything wrong with the gasket work and when they did our inspection, they said it did not pass due to some things not working properly. They sent us away to have these things fixed, but not before charging us another $100.00 for doing nothing and told us to return when we wanted to have the car inspected. We were not pleased and we returned a few days later to complain about our vehicle not being repaired properly. They told us they would review the car again; they hooked up the computer wiring that I think they removed and said it would pass inspection now. This again cost me another $100.00 and my gasket is still leaking. They told me I would have to replace my transmission with a remanufactured one costing over $3000.00."

"I was referred to these guys. They are very good and professional with installing transmissions. My transmission had gone out and I needed it fixed ASAP. They really went out of there way to help me. The installation was done the same day I had taken the vehicle in. I was very pleased. They really took into consideration how bad I needed my vehicle fixed. I would recommend them to anyone."

"I went to the Toyota dealership first to get an estimate of the work needed to repair the transmission on my 2007 Tacoma which wasn't shifting gears properly. They returned with a $1700.00 estimate which included installing a new flywheel and several unnecessary procedures that I didn't request. So, I went to Angie's List and saw that
Las Vegas Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
was only one mile from my house and it had an A rating. I limped the truck there and talked with the owner and his wife. They were both so personable and friendly. They evaluated the truck and gave me an estimate of $700 as long as the flywheel didn't need replacing. They even offered to drive me home. When they called me to tell me the truck as ready, he said the flywheel just needed resurfacing and that it cleaned up beautifully. Starting the car, I found the clutch so responsive it almost drove itself off the lot. I highly recommend this place and the good people who own it. It will be the first place I bring my vehichles for any service.
