"Received a timely callback to my inquiry and was very willing to work with my availability schedule to come to the home and repair a halogen lamp switch for a very" treasured lamp. I was very pleased with his professional appearance and the repair services he provided. It is without hesitation that I would encourage every homeowner with a lamp worth saving to call the Lamp Doctor.

"It was a nightmare! Everything did personally on the job has had to be redone or completed by someone else. He ask for a $8000 to start the" job in which he bid $12830. I said I would not give him that much to start for a labor only job. I supplied all materials. He ask for $5000 instead so I agreed. The next day he sent over a painter for the exterior who started telling me the house needed to be power washed and the fascia scrapped in order for him to do his job but did not discuss that with me in his bid. He bid the exterior painting job at $2200 on his bid breakdown. I told him he needed to the job for the amount that was bid. The painter started painting and began painting the dirt and mud that was dry around the house right onto the house. He also painted the edges of the red tiles on the roof that meet the fascia. When I confronted him I realized he was totally drunk on alcohol. He actually had a cooler on the job loaded with beer. I sent him away and called and told him I did not want that man painting my house and that I would hire my own painter. This made him very angry and he threatened to walk away from the job but I had just given him $5000 and certainly did not have $5000 worth of work from him yet. So I smoothed things over with him as best I could so he would not walk off with my money. We moved forward. (I have since found out that he was planning on paying the drunk painter $1000, so he was to pocket $1200. No wonder he got so mad about me hiring my own reputable painter) 1st let me say that I was under the impression when me meet with me he 1st time and from his bid that he would be doing all the work with a helpers. So I was very surprised when he hired the drunk man to paint my house. Part our argument was that I could have hired out each job myself because I know qualified tradesmen in every category but he lead me to believe it would be him, so I thought that it might make life easier for me having everything done by one person with the helpers he needed. He was in actuality pretending to be a Contractor and hired out almost every aspect of the job. He was to do the tile flooring himself. Within a few more days he claimed he needed more funds released so he could get the Air Conditioner installed with was also part of his bid. He claimed he could get me a new air conditioner for my 1800 square foot house for around $1400. Which sounded great to me. When it came time to get the air conditioner he told me it would now be $2100 instead because he quoted me a 3 ton and I actually need a 5 ton. I was again surprized he (being in the business 25 years) did not know this before quoting me.... I gave him $4000 more dollars to take care of the air con and a few other materials he said we needed. This was on a Thursday afternoon of week 2 on the job. On that Friday he told me the new air conditioner would be there on Monday. When Monday came he said the guy he hired for the air con said he thought he could fix it and would try but it would cost $500 for the parts. I told him to move forward but he had to be sure he could fix it because I would not pay $500 for repairs to be told he could not fix it. He assured me he could get it to work. Meanwhile...That Monday when I showed up at the job to see how things were going, I was told by Zac, one of the other workers had hired to do the carpentry and plumbing that fhe needed the "hot and cold" valve for the master shower and he would go get it for me if I trusted him. i told him yes but butted in and told him no that I had to go get it. Zac remarked ' is the boss is I guess I cant go get it for you". I chuckled and said "Actually I am the Boss, I own the house and I'm paying everybody, so I say you can go get it for me because it will save us all time for the fact that I am sure what to get." Shortly after I left the job and headed out my cell phone rang and it was . He started off by saying "You better never talk to me that way in front of my workers again...You are not their Boss, and you are not my Boss. I will not be talked to like I'm a Mexican." I replied "What are you talking about ?" He said "You and your husband think you are so high and mighty and above everybody because you are rich." I was flabbergasted.... I had been so patient with this man. There were so many things that raised red flags that I ignored because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now I could see I should have sent him packing the first day when he hired the drunk painter. There was no way for us to move forward after his insults so i had no choice but to fire him. I told him he needed to meet me at the house in the Morning so we could square up because had just given him $4000 more 2 days earlier and had no air conditioner and no flooring installed and numerous other things on Claudios bid that had not been completed. He would not meet with me and told me to keep his tile saw and ladder and call it even. There was at least $5000 of items on the bid that were not completed. And once I had to hire others to complete the jobs I had already paid for it was discovered that he left many things half done or had done them in such a amateur way they had to be redone. For example he laid ceramic tile flooring over ceramic tile flooring in an upstairs bath. It was already popping up within 2 days. He used my grout for my flooring to repair the exterior concrete block wall instead of mortar and only put the grout along the exterior lines of the new block and nothing inside to hold them. Plus the grout was dark tan and the concrete was light gray. It was hideous.. Every ceiling fan he installed wobbles and makes noises. He installed wire racks in the master closet with nails instead of the screws and anchors... The interior doors he shaved with the plainer to install (before the flooring) were uneven and over planed to the point they were separating at the bottom. plus he left a huge mess of the hinges on every door. His so called electrician cut out holes in the ceiling of the finished garage to ""trouble shoot"" and left that unrepaired. The electrical problems still exist but the electrician got paid and got his cut. Speaking of which...His Electrician finally called me to see if i wanted him to finish the air con since i had to let go. I told him yes. He came to repair it and and then told me the compressor was bad and he could not fix it after all, but he could get me a new compressor and get it working for $1200 instead of $500. Once again I agreed. Long story short he tried to install a stolen compressor and when it didn't fit the price was no longer $1200 because they had no receipt and could not exchange it for one that worked for my unit. These are the kinds of people hires to work on unsuspecting clients homes.... pretented to be a contracor and bid a job way over the limit of $1000 that are able to bid. I contacted the Nevada State Contractors board and we are now awaiting the DA to contact us to testify and hopefully get some of our money back. .

Lamp Repair reviews in Las Vegas

Evergreen does the whole thing for me. I never have to worry about the yard. They do extra work, when I ask them to, but aside from that we have very little communication. This is the way I would prefer it, and it seems to work for both parties. The lawn looks great and the weeds are kept to a minimum. They do the lawn once a week, and the minor landscaping, ...More maybe four times a year.
