"Scheduling went fine and

Bond arrived promptly. He performed the service and the unit did seem to be cooling better. We also discussed other issues our HVAC might be having that I described and he listened and suggested the thermostat (which was very old) might be the cause and need replacing. He removed the thermostat cover and explained how I could buy and install a new one myself so I wouldn't have to call him back and pay for another service call. He told me exactly what I needed and where to get it, and also walked me through how to hook up the new thermostat. He did not charge anything else for this. I was very impressed and thanked him. We didn't use the HVAC for almost two weeks but finally on a hot day I turned on the cooler. The fan came on but no cold air. I called

Bond and reached him immediately. He asked me to check if the outside unit was running (fan spinning). It was not. He had me check a couple other things over the phone and it appeared the outside unit was not working. He said he would be right over. And within 15 minutes he was. He checked the outside unit and it seemed okay. So he came inside and pulled the cover off the thermostat and everything started working. He again said he felt the thermostat was old and not working properly and should be replaced. When he went outside again I pulled the cover off the thermostat again and all of a sudden everything stopped cold - fan and outside unit. So I knew he was correct about the thermostat since I'd taken the cover off before when the unit was operating without anything stopping. When

came back in he once again explained how to change-out the thermostat myself, even writing down on a piece of paper each wire and where it connected to. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. I was very impressed he came over so quickly, was so helpful, and did not charge me. We could use more contractors like this here in Las Vegas! I was very happy with

called and asked if it was ok if he came a bit early, and I said sure, that was no problem. Once he arrived, he checked the HVAC unit outside. He took the panels off and made sure everything ok. After that, he went upstairs and into the attic to take a look at my air handler. I had mentioned that my upstairs area always seemed much warmer than downstairs. He quickly identified the problem and told me how it could be fixed, and that it wouldn't cost much at all. He informed me that the contrators sometimes install the units "the lazy way" which impedes the air flow to certain areas. Im glad he was able to recognize this right away! When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly. He began his inspection and brought some potential problems to my attention. He was very thorough in explaining what the potential issues and costs were and encouraged me to contact others for their opinion on costs. I felt that was a very customer friendly thing to do. He also conducted an inspection of the components in the attic. As stated, it was, in my opinion, an extremely thorough inspection. Finally, he wrote up his findings so that I could have them for future reference or to compare charges with another vendor if I chose to do so. It was a very positive business interaction."
