, it was obvious that only one coat of paint was slapped on the walls. And did I mention they painted the light switches? Yes, the switches, but only on whatever side was facing the paint roller. When I followed up via e-mail with Andreea she apologized, said she'd seen the condo before leaving on a trip and in her opinion it looked good. She also wrote that sometimes the color of the swatch is different from the color of the dried paint.

showed me the swatch, it was yellow, nothing even close to the off-white we'd requested. Andreea also wrote that the switches had been painted before and that's why they painted over them, so they matched. (Yes, I do have the e-mail.) Funny, when we inspected the switches, the side opposite the paint was bare beige plastic, with absolutely no evidence they'd ever been painted. My husband contacted Andreea last week. She said the yellow color was a "misunderstanding" and then went on to say she'd under-estimated the time involved in the clearning and we were undercharged on that. My husband runs a service business and if he under-estimates a job, he absorbs the cost and never mentions it to his clients. Andreea did offer some free cleaning services, which we didn't want, as compensation and he told her to instead send us a check in the amount of the services she offered. Not holding our breath. Long story short: cleaning was okay (Grade = C) , painting was a nightmare (Grade = F) Average for GirlFriday & subcontractor = D."
