"Bill came to our home to provide an estimate for our remodel, and we instantly felt comfortable with Bill. He provided samples of his products, told us about his construction techniques and standards, and encouraged us to research the industry and compare other suppliers.
Bill's crew showed up promptly every morning and were very pleasant. As the construction progressed, I was given timely updates, suggestions for replacing outside lighting/house numbers/roof flashing, and my questions were professionally addressed.
Upon completion of the construction, Bill walked the exterior of our residence with us, and we were just amazed at the quality of the products and the installation. We have a new house again."

"Extremely pleased with the whole experience. We were assured we didn't pay until we were completely satisfied... Unlike other remodeling projects we have done, we didn't have to worry. Job was done to perfection. No delays, great communication and price comparable to other companies. I would definitely recommend this company and their products to others."

"Everything was very poorly done. It is just awful. It was also very stressful. They blamed me for them pushing back my project because I paid them all the money up front and the owner went on vacation, and spent the money I gave him. When he came back he had no money to pay for my materials. I paid him upfront to make sure they did my project first, but that did not happen. "

" is Great! Came out and gave me an estimate for paint, guttering, power-washing wood rot repair and window cleaning. Price was a little higher than other estimates but was great to work with and worth extra money. Anytime there was issue, would immediately call me and let me know the issue and that it was being taken care of. One of his guys accidently cut a wire that was powering our A/C unit and he was very apologetic and fixed the problem with no questions. was at my home for over a week and now our house looks like new! We are very pleased with the work that and his crew do and will definitely use them in the future!"

"They installed all new things in the bathroom. The owner of the company is amazing and very honest. I rate him high overall. "

"Our sales presentation was done by Mr. Ganon, representing .
Among the questions we had for Mr. Ganon were:
#1: Do the screens fit tightly enough that our small house pets cannot excape?
Mr. Ganon assured us that the screens were very durable and tight fitting. His exact quote was, "You won't
have any worries with these windows and screens."
Reality: The windows had been installed less than FOUR days, when one of our pets (8 lbs.) pushed out a bedroom screen and escaped. The screens are so poorly made and fitted that there is up to a half-inch gap around the edges allowing insects into our home. Today, June 18, 2010, they installed the second set of screens and they are more poorly fitted than the originals. Now we are being told by an American Exterior executive, Mr. , that they have "fulfilled their contractural obligations".
#2: Does use their own installation employees or do they hire outside labor?
Mr. Ganon promised that all our work would be done by "highly trained American Exterior employees".
Reality: These "highly trained American Exterior employees" shot nails through the walls of our home and into the medicine cabinet in our bathroom. They also installed our porch light and flag holder with screws that were put into the vinyl siding ONLY -- not into studs. On Memorial Day our flag holder came off the side of the house and we noticed our porch light was dangling.
Truthfully, I don't know how this company stays in business.
When my husband tried to talk to management today, after seeing that the 2nd set of screens are worse than the first, all Mr. wanted to talk about was "legal responsibilities" and "court costs".
What do working people do when they trust their dollars to a company who fails to deliver and then tells the poor customer, "we have lived up to our contractural obligations"? Well, I have screens that are letting bugs into my home and I cannot raise the windows because my kittens are strong enough to push out the screens and escape.
Please, no matter what they promise, don't use . Come to my home and see the truth."

"Their salesman was very nice and very professional. It was a little bit pricier than what they advertised, but I did upgrade the windows just a little bit. They were very prompt and did a good job of installing. The only thing is that one of the locks was broken on the windows that they installed, so they had to come back and replace it.
When the guy came in to install the windows, they said they were going to be there in the morning. However, they didn?t actually show up until the afternoon. It was for a rental home, so the tenant had to take a day off work and he had to sit and wait for half a day. They had to come back the following day too because of their delay in arrival. They didn?t call and let me know that they were going to be late.

"I called J.D. the morning of September 28th and he came by late that same afternoon to look at the wood surrounding the bow window on the front of our 1970s raised ranch. He was friendly and personable and spent considerable time explaining to my husband & me, the options that were available to us. As requested, he provided a quotation (via email) the next day with options to repair the rotting wood portions of the existing window with white, unpainted PVC as well as a complete new replacement of a different type of window configuration. On September 30th, I emailed a signed proposal, accepting the repair option. The ballpark he provided was close to the final quotation- as expected. We agreed would repair the window beginning at about 9 AM the morning of October 8th. About an hour before he was due, he called (as I'd expected) to advise the rain (forecast for entire day) would prevent him from attempting the repair that day. He offered to come Saturday, October 10th but I told him neither myself nor my husband would be available that day. Ultimately, we settled on Tuesday afternoon, October 13th. J.D. telephoned me early Tuesday afternoon to advise of a slight delay but assured me he would be at our house in a little while. He was. He got right to work and had all the supplies needed to do the job and to clean up. He is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I understood we'd need to paint the vinyl. J.D. provided a piece of the wood so we could take to obtain a paint match. The wood sample doesn't appear very faded so my guess is he took this into account when providing the piece. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and will definitely contact for additional repair or window replacements in the future. "

"The experience from start to end was pleasant. They worked around my schedule for the consultation so that I didn't have to miss any work and I only had to leave work about 30 minutes early to meet the person who took the window measurements. The group that did the actual installs were extremely pleasant and professional. They tried to keep me informed on their progress and had me check out their work on occasion to make sure I liked what I saw. If I had to say anything negative about the whole experience it's that I wound up taking 3 days off work for the install, but that was due to unforseen circumstances like weather and they had to come a seperate day for the halfround because the box was missing some reqiured channel that they had to get made. I would most definitely use this company again, and probably will to get the last 3 windows that I just couldn't afford right now replaced."
