"Rich came out on Monday afternoon to check non-flushing toilets (2). Determined clogged from 22 years of KCMO hard water, easier/cheaper to replace. Quoted installed price for one and 10% discount for second and third toilets if done on same trip, decided to do all three, scheduled for Friday the same week, plus requested Rich pick a kitchen faucet to install (replacing dripping 20 year old faucet) at same time. Arrived on time Friday with second plumber who proceeded to remove and install the three toilets while Rich removed/installed kitchen faucet, replacing old shutoff valves at same time. When Rich went to shut off water to house he passed by water heater and noticed the TPI valve leaking, checked it and found clogged, quoted price to replace while there (about half off if done while there), also, suggested a back pressure tank be added to keep pressure in waterheater from building up, quoted and accepted price. Very satisfied with work, all works well and seems to have fixed some pipe noise while running the dish and clothes washers. Have used Rich before and still pleased with work and overall pricing."

Kansas City Water Heater Installers Reviews

"Color me cynical. I take all reports--both good and bad--with a grain of salt. When it was time to buy a new AC system, I checked the usual suspects--Angie's List, consumers reports and the HVAC online forums. The only thing on which everyone agreed (in a deafening chorus) was: Quality of installation is as important, if not more important, than brand. With a car, one model is pretty much the same as the others built at the same plant. But a heating/cooling system is like having the parts to a car delivered to your doorstep and then a local guy comes to assemble them. So I dutifully set about finding a good installer. Gentle reader, I felt like my head would explode from all the information I was forced to absorb on this subject. But you can't determine the best installer until you have some comprehension of how HVAC systems work. Most companies are more than happy to install a new HVAC system for you. Few companies will point out the deficiencies in your existing ductwork that will limit your new system. Fewer still will want to tackle the missteps of the HVAC companies that came before them. A choice comment from one company I interviewed: "Installing AC is the easiest thing in the world. It's not rocket science, you know." Way to a potential customer! Doing a good HVAC installation may not be rocket science, but it IS science, and it's not easy. Or so your fellow installers say. I got half a dozen bids. I narrowed them down to two, including . Then I read (more closely this time) the negative reviews on Angie's List. From those reviews I could only conclude that was a has-been company--once a great City presence, now coasting on its reputation. I called to cancel my appointment, and I leveled with the company about my reasons. I ended up talking to the general manager, and he addressed every concern I had. His attitude impressed me. This company cares about their customers. I allowed to test our AC system for a power-company rebate on a new system. We did not qualify, but the tech was a straight an arrow, and very knowledgeable. I'd bet my TV-lamp collection--no small thing!--that any mistakes by the crew were unintentional--and rare. I was so impressed with this tech that I requested him to service my system in the future. The salesman was knowledgeable and committed. The work of the installers was outstanding. The company has its own metal shop, where they custom build the parts homeowners need for maximum efficiency. This company went the extra mile for me. Angie's Listers, I can safely say: Be not afraid."

" , our company salesman/contact, told us exactly what to expect and things went just as planned. He arrived at our house with the installation crew to be sure they knew precisely what we wanted and came back during the day to check of progress. also gave us a follow-up call to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction and that the equipment was working properly."

" , the owner, was friendly, professional, and on-time. were reasonably priced, completed all the work in their estimated time, and cleaned up after themselves. I'd definitely use them again."

" was very patient with us on the phone - we spoke with him a few times on a Saturday evening. When it looked like we needed him to come onsite, he was here within the hour and was very friendly (again, it was a Saturday after 8pm). He also gave us a $15 credit for using Angie's List, which I appreciated."

"They were just terrific. I can't say enough about him! He gave me a discount for being part of Angie's list. He took care of some other companies mistakes while he was out here at no charge. I'm going to have him come out whenever I need more work done."

" was very responsive. I called on a Friday night, left a message, and he called back within 10 minutes. He was very personable and told me if I can wait until tomorrow that it would save me from paying overtime charges. He gave me a Saturday arrival time and showed up on time. He went directly to work and had the work done in less than two hours. He made sure that he explained to me what had caused the problem. He also showed me a few other issues with the plumbing but assured me they were easy fixes, and I could tackle them myself if I wanted to. Overall, I had a good experience with this company, and I would recommend them in the future."

"I woke up Saturday morning to cold water and water on the floor. I called several plumbers, one of who wanted to charge $900 dollars. Others did not return my phone calls. explained over the phone that my water heater needed replacement, and that he could do the job first thing Monday morning. He showed up on time and completed the job in about 90 minutes. The price was competitive with other quotes I received. I will call them again for future plumbing problems."

"I woke up to no hot water on a Saturday morning. was one of the plumbers I called for an estimate. Their price was comparable to others. I chose another company that was able to do the job sooner."
