"We purchased their $200 offer in Angie's List and immediately scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The person writing the estimate was a trained arborist (I have a background in biology and could tell that he knew his subject matter). We have a heavily wooded lot and I explained to the representative that we enjoyed the trees and would only want to remove only the necessary trees. Additionally, we just moved into the home and wanted to do our tree work in stages---- not a wholesale/one-time clearing of the property. He understood and proceeded to explain why he was recommending removal of all the trees in that estimate. He also pointed out damage to some trees that we should consider removing in the future due to their health and/or storm damage. I particularly enjoyed his candid advice because it NEVER felt like a high pressure sales situation or that he was trying to cut down as many trees as possible. He really listened to our vision for our property and helped us discuss how his work would help us achieve it. He also gave us multiple ideas on how to reduce our costs and which trees were highly desirable and should not be taken down. One very important thing to note was that in writing the estimate, his prices ---for each individual tree--- were in line my other quotes so the $200 discount was a real discount. After receiving our estimate, he told us that we could schedule the work at the end of that same week and we did. However, I found out that I needed to clear some

hurdles so I called him the before the work was supposed to start and the company said there was no problem. They told me to call back and schedule when I got the

approval. At all times, they were very courteous--even when the delay was my fault. After fixing my problem, they scheduled us within one week. The day of the job, at about 8:30AM, an organized and well equipped group of about 10 workers appeared. They had a cherry picker truck, a bobcat, another truck to pick up and haul away the trees---they didn't use all the equipment, but it was nice to know they were not skimping or having makeshift/unreliable tools.
