"Lousy. His performance was not at all what we expected, based on his review from some friends and his descriptions of the work he had done for others. He did not communicate clearly with us what his plans were and when we tried to ask questions, he accused us of micomanaging his work. He made costly mistakes that delayed the completion of our project ...more (ruined a door we planned to reuse, made a large hole for plumbing in a cabinet bottom and designed a support for the marble top of our eating area that would not hold the stone). He walked off our job for a delay in payment on a change order, made assumptions about the disposal of our cabinets, doors and windows (took them without asking) and worked on other projects while spending minimal time supervising or completing our project. He took two unplanned leaves during our project, which resulted in further delays and lack of supervision."
