"All went well. We scheduled and split the move up over three Saturdays. Crew worked well and quickly. Flexible with our indecisiveness. Very polite and courteous workers. Would use and again and recommend.

"They were on time and did a great job. They even took some small stuff we were going to move since they had room. They did not damage anything they moved and did not damge either property even though they had to move some large items up and down narrow stairs.
Very nice people and as their name says, "They were

"I have moved 12 times, mostly using professional movers. These are nice, very hard working, and respectful men (no women work there), but they are NOT professionals. Never once did they show up on time. Packing was the worst I have ever seen. Luckily I haven't found anything broken in the last 2 weeks, because they have ONLY A 48-HOUR window to notify of damage. Good moving companies give you 2-4 weeks. I have two pieces of furniture missing drawers, a tv without a remote, and guest bedroom bedding that is missing a pillow, to name only a few. Not sure what else I will find (or not find) in the weeks ahead. My favorite was the wire hangers in a triangular recycling box were taken out of the box, packing in a different box, and the hanger boxes packed separately. That is really the worst packing story I have ever experienced or heard of in 34 years of experience moving cross country. Also, they do not give a price for packing, only the price per hour of labor and cost per box to pack. They cannot calculate the boxes needed to pack or the time necessary to pack. It was taking so long to get the job done that to the owner's credit, he came out personally with extra men to help with unloading the first truck. It appeared that they would be cheaper, but they are as expensive as the professionals without the professional expertise.

"The move was well coordinated and the movers were very flexible to changing weather issues. The original plan of 3 men and a truck for the move changed due to weather to speed up the move. Instead 6 men arrived which sped up the move considerably; however, the 45 minutes in the middle of the move to coordinate adjustments to the days move schedule which had little to do with my move and kept the movers idle for 45 minutes. In the end the price was much more than we had agreed upon based on man hours. While I understand the need to be flexible I don't believe adding the idle time was appropriate.
Otherwise I was very happy with the service and the attention they gave to my belongings and the care they used to move my belongings.

"Prior to booking, I explained that I would need to have some furniture moved back into my upstairs on the following Sunday so that I could live in the home until I closed on the new one.

stated that although his crews did not typically work on Sundays, he was sure he could work something out... to not worry.

and his team showed up on time on Wednesday to move me out for the floor crew and were very friendly during the move. I paid him $550 for the first move and then left town for 5 days while my floors were refinished. I called on Friday and again on Saturday to confirm arrangements for Sunday but both times rolled to VM. Saturday evening, I texted
Kansas City Movers Provider Name Locked
as I was getting concerned that I would not be able to get back into my home as planned and I had an important week of activities at work which would require I be back in my home. His response to my request for confirmation was "I don't work sun... see you at 10am". When I replied to confirm that he was talking about Sunday at 10AM, he responded "Sun!!!!". I then asked if it could be later because as I had explained when booking the job, I was out of town several hours away and would not be able to be back until the afternoon. His response was curtly "No. 10AM or Monday". I ended up moving myself into a bedroom that afternoon so that I would have someplace to stay that night. After several attempts to call him (all rolling to VM), I finally gave up and booked another moving company. Unfortunately, when the second moving company moved the rest of the my furniture back into my house, they were not able to assemble all of the items because

's company had removed screws and left them in random piles in my basement without placing them back in the holes to ensure they would not be lost.
I strongly recommend against booking

's company if you are at all concerned about quality, communication, or follow through.

"Went very well. Was a little delayed at beginning, but they called to let me know. They take very good care of all furniture, breakables etc. They wrap furniture with moving blankets and/or bubble wrap to protect each piece. This is the 3rd time I have used

"The initial move from my house was great. The move into my new place was terrible. They damaged 8 pieces of my furniture. 3 pieces were new expensive wood pieces. The manager was terrible and argued with my wife on where she wanted things moved to. We tried to call but no answer for 2-3 weeks, then have filled out claim and complaint form and it has been 2 weeks more. Still waiting to get reimbursed for the damage. Promised a $200.00 dollar discount if we moved on slow days and never have seen that either.

".They called to have someone come to look at everything that I wanted to have moved. They gave me a written estimate and told me if they could meet my deadline. They called to confirm the date. The driver of the semi also called to tell me when he would be there. The company also told me when the packers would arrive as well. Everyone arrived at least 1/2 hour ahead of schedule ready to work. They took a break for lunch then got right back to work. They took care of the house as they moved things out as well. They covered the floors and walls so they didn't leave any

"This event was the second time I have used

. We bought a new house before even putting the old house on the
Kansas City Movers Provider Name Locked
. The first step was de-cluttering.
Kansas City Movers Provider Name Locked
moved all of the boxes from our basement, some small furniture, plus a lot of other boxes that we had packed to de-clutter the house. In four hours they loaded the truck, mostly from our basement, took it to a storage locker facility and loaded the boxes, etc into two different storage units. We also had them move two shelving units from our basement into the storage locker. When we were at the house,
Two things stick out in my mind:
First, I made a comment that it would be nice to keep all the Christmas stuff together and to load it onto the shelves they were moving. I didn't event think about that again until we were at the storage locker and almost finished unloading. I mentioned it, and one of the guys said - I paid attention, it's all done. I went in the locker and all of the Christmas stuff - not even all labeled - was on the shelves.
Second, they were very protective of my wood floors and the condition of the wood stairs from the basement to the first floor. They covered everything with blankets and instead of pulling dollies full of boxes up the stairs, they lifted them up so the stairs wouldn't be damaged.
This first move was on one of

City's hottest days.
So the second move was really smooth. Furniture, boxes from old house to new house.

and his helper pulled everything we wanted moved into the garage, and then did an amazing job of organizing it into the truck. They paid special attention and took extra care with my antique items. The move was smooth and fast.

was also very accommodating of my schedule - I needed to reschedule at least 3 times. A little pricey but the total included included travel costs, insurance and actual labor. The men punched out for lunch and
