He told me that I didn't need to pull a permit b/c we weren't adding to the area, so he didn't pull one. He also kept the original tin roof, whereas the rest of the home has shingles. He used Styrofoam for insulation, and he the wood he used to frame out the walls for the room are only an inch thick, the drywall is coming off the walls, there electrical is not even grounded, it's been a nightmare. To make it worse, he is a licensed contractor, he won't return my phone calls, I have to call him from numbers he doesn't recognize to even get him to answer his phone. Every contractor I've talked to since has told me that I got ripped off for what he charged me & the size of the job. It's hard b/c contractors won't give specifics for what they charge so you can compare with other contractors in bids. I know the material he used probably only cost him about $800, if that. Also, when he was running a/c duct to the new room his heating and air company busted a pipe and when I came home for lunch there was water leaking through the light fixtures. I asked him to give me a copy of my contract but he refused. I hope no one ever uses this guy.

When I purchased my house, I did not have direct access to my backyard directly from my living room. I hired
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
to replace an existing window with a door to provide access to the area
The door was framed-in with structural strength and cosmetically finished off inside and out. I also had
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
replace some siding along the wall that the door was installed. The old siding was removed, and the new
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
panels installed per manufacturer recommendations. A 6X8X4" slab was poured to facilitate exit from the house to the backyard
All job debris was removed from my premises. The work crew was skilled and professional. I am very pleased with the quality of
the work performed by
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
and his crew.
I highly recommend him as a very knowledgeable, professional contractor for your home repairs and improvements.

The overall experience was easy from start to finish.
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
handled everything and made it a point not to disrupt our every day activities as we were still occupying the home while the work was going on. We couldnt be happier.

We did not have a good experience with
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
at all. He did not even put up a sign in our yard to advertise his work. That should have been a red flag.
There is no detailed plan by
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
. I never felt he spent enough time in our kitchen to figure out how this was going to go. We gave him our floor plan and he just muddled through it. Our supervisor,
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
, had to take all the heat but he did his best and we were thankful for him.
DO get a detailed schedule. We asked and asked for one. Finally got one but it was not followed. According to that, our house was to be finished October 16th. Keep your own book keeping. Their
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
is so out of it that she would send us incorrect bills and even sent a message telling us the project is complete and expected final payment. We had not even had a walk through because there were lingering items left undone or not in satisfactory condition. We also heard from a mutual friend that
Jacksonville Custom Frames Provider Name Locked
was telling her that we were behind in our payments and paying him. We were irrate because that was not true and how unprofessional of him to talk about clients to a 3rd party. Hold out money until the end when you either think things are complete or you just want to be done with the nightmare. Our phase 2 will be with a well qualified, professional company that we respect.
