"From the first
online, the web site was informative and easy to use. Immediate contact via Email with a Customer Service contact number. I called the 1-800 number" and the customer service there was prompt and professional. The Store called me after the weekend as informed and the staff is kind, friendly and informative. The delivery drivers were courteous and called in enough time for me to be home for the delivery. There was a slight ding in the refrigerator and the driver immediately called Will, the Manager, and we made arrangments for the door to be replaced this week. I expect no less service from it either. The on-line coupon was an added bonus especially in an surprise slight emergency of our home refrigerator going out on a weekend and no repair vendors available. I would recommend
when your in a pinch. My only recommendation would be to be able to fill out the application on-line prior to the store calling you to obtain the same information. I wish the item we ordered was in stock so we wouldn't have had to wait a week for a new refrigerator. The door was slightly dented, but I forgive them because we saw it all wrapped up and protected. Things do happen, oh boy do we know!

"The walk in cooler was improperly built and has the wrong hardware. No resolve on repair. On November 16th, 2013 I visited the warehouse of
and purchased several" pieces of equipment to include a custom built walk in cooler. I worked with
and
in choosing the equipment and paint colors and such. They came to deliver and install the cooler and equipment on December 9th, 2013. It was not custom painted silver as promised and the hardware installed was incorrect and set improperly. I was told by
, the installer, that this is "the way we always do it, it will be fine". I was very displeased and I called the O.F.F. shop and left a message.
called
and told him of the problems. He then took pictures, as did I, and forwarded them tosales@onefatfrog.com as directed with my formal complaint. I was informed that they would fix the paint issue and the install promptly and would follow up right away with a schedule. It took a solid week of calling before finally getting a schedule of December 17th, 2013. I was unable to be there and had my proxy,
, there in my place. When I arrived
was leaving. Due to the stress of trying to open a business in less than 2 weeks, I was ecstatic at the time to see the cooler painted properly and the doors seated and I left it alone until time to have the refrigeration installed. When we tried to have the condensing unit installed on the cooler, the technician refused saying the cooler will not pass inspection and showed me the things wrong with it.I called there several times and
kept telling me no one was available to help me. On February 13th 2014 I emailed my complaint and my refrigeration tech then contacted
@ O.F.F. himself and told him the problems and sent pictures. Even told him what to do and what parts were needed to fix it. I was given a new date for repair of February 17 2014.
, the original tech for O.F.F., showed up and instead of fixing the cooler he just took measurements and wrote up a ticket of what was needed to fix the cooler which included new hinges and strikes for both doors and a new seal for the back door. The next day I received an email from
stating that the reason the cooler wasn't closing properly was due to shifting and not a bad install. I have had a carpenter examine the cooler construction and he has found that the door jams are out of square and installed improperly and that the hinges are incorrect. At that point I requested to have them come get the cooler and credit back my lease account. On February 19th,he wrote back stating that the cooler cannot be returned because I signed an invoice stating no refunds or returns, which I don't remember signing. He stated in the same email that he was still willing to get the cooler fixed for me. After speaking with my attorney I was advised to let them try to fix it before going further legally. I emailed several times between then and now and was finally on February 28th given a time frame, by
, of March 4th or 5th for this to be corrected and they would call me the morning of to let me know a time to be there. They didn't show or call either day. I called several times and emailed. Every time I've ever called the girl answering the phone said no one could talk to me. So I emailed and was told they were hung up on another job and they would get back to me to reschedule. So far I have not heard anything. I have emailed and called to no avail. I am now having to reschedule necessary inspections that are required by law to open my business. I now have to hire someone to fix the cooler that we paid $5800 dollars for because they refuse to take it back or fix it properly. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company ever!!

"Awful, I will never use them again. Never, dryer still not working. I told the manager at the store that I will post my experience online and I will not let another person go through" this terrible ordeal in my opinion.

Depends a lot on your current configuration. Rough numbers, $4-7,000 for the generator including autostart and automatic load transfer circuit box and master breakers (usually all come on the generator).

Installation (with pad already inplace and gas hookup - about $500-1000.

Electrical about $800 minimum, to maybe $2500. The $800 will get you a simple transfer switch installation but if you want some household circuits to run on the generator but others not, depending on how your current wiring is run, can run to $2000 to pull existing circuits to a new panel.

The problem is that all circuits that are going to be on the generator, unless you are planning to carry the entire household load, have to go to a separate circuit breaker panel which is fed off the automatic transfer switch, so they get power from either the power company or the generator, depending on which is providing power at the moment. That means the circuits running off either source have to be disconnected from your current breaker box, extended (commonly) over to the new box, and hooked up. All other circuits stay on your current breaker box, to run only off the public power when it is on. If the generator is large enough capactiy for your entire house load of course it costs more, but this circuit termination point moving is not needed, so electrical work drops way off to basically a connection box with the transfer switch.

A couple of words of advice - pay attention to weather protection, fire barrier between the unit and the house (including issues of overhead decks that can catch fire), automatic fire shutoff/suppression, and trickle charging from house power to generator battery. Also read CAREFULLY your power comopany rules on generator installation (commonly requires their signoff), any code restrictions on generators and noise in your area, and if your insurance rate will go up. (It definitely does if you have a fuel tank, I don't know if it does with natural gas-fired generators.)

Welcome to the world of Google ! Google this search phrase - dual fuel downdraft convection oven range

You will find a number of brands that make dual-fuel ranges with convection oven - Jenn-air of course, and GE, Bosch, Kitchenaid, Maytag, LG, Samsung, Wolf, Frigidaire, Thermador, Viking all sellin the US. Almost all major brands make this a dual-fuel convection oven range - find model(s) you like, then start checking with local vendors to see who sells them locally - the big home improvement box stores and Sears, Best Buy for starts.

However, the bad news - according to an article I found, only Jenn-Air still makes downdraft stovetops, although I did find one blog notation about a person buying a European Viking with downdraft. Basically the fan capability in downdraft ranges is just not enough to capture the odors and grease and steam coming off a cooktop, so the other brands all dripped it and recommend an over-stove powered vent hood. Most downdraft units had about a 1/10HP fan that pulled about 300 cfm - the same as a modern bathroom fan,, when to actually cause a reverse (downward) airflow over a range requires more like 1000 cfm or more causing a downward airflow of about 10-20 mph - which would make for a little private windstorm around your stove. People also found they did not like the reduced oven size to accomodate the fan unit.

Thermador and Dacor and probably others make behind the range vent units that stick up a foot or two and pull some of the fumes from the rangetop, though reviews say their performance is iffy and basically only affects the rear burners.

My recommendation - go with an overhead vent hood and eliminate the greasy buildup and high humidity in the kitchen that go with downdraft ranges - you will also pay about half a much as for a Jenn-Air downdraft unit.

We shopped around - went to
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
and HHGreg also. Selter's was the best deal all around.
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
wanted $ 75 to deliver the machine, plus they would do nothing on hooking up the dryer. HHGreg the same thing - charge for delivery, plus limited selection.
Selters had a nice showroom on
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
Hwy and lots of models. We dealt w/ one salesman
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
, and a little bit w/
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
when
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
was tied up w/ another customer on our return visit.
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
is the pro; you could tell he has been doing this a long time. What impressed me was the lack of baloney and gamesmanship when I asked for model prices. No pressure to buy or fast talking. I believe he said straight-up their
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
up over cost was 18%, and even showed me their cost info on his computer. Pricing is competitive w/ other stores on same models. Once you go over $ 500. there is no delivery charge. They were also willing to help put on a new plug and flex hose on our dryer (each part about $20 I think) for no additional charge. I thought that was pretty d*** good customer service and reasonable.
Delivery was as promised, by two pleasant, polite and helpful young men. They did all the connections, tested and balanced everything.
Selter's offers a 5 year service warranty on their machines for $99. Normally I don't get these "add-on warranties" but in this case, as it is a new, high efficiency model, I thought that was
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
- one service call just to get a guy to come out can run you $ 40.
Overall, our experience w/ the guys at Selters was very good. I especially like the no B.S. on quotong prices, and I think they will match pricing w/ their competitors. I would definitely go back. They understand what customer service is all about, and doing the little extras to close a deal. By contrast,
Jacksonville Discount Appliances Provider Name Locked
at Avenues M.all fell way short in this regard.
