Appliance Repair reviews in Jacksonville

. My experience was very positive. My phone call was answered immediately and the service was scheduled for that afternoon. The technician called about 15 minutes before he arrived, and though I was given a two hour window as a time for him to arrive, he got to my house only 30 minutes into that time frame. He was clean, quick, and professional. The machine needed a major part that had to picked up from a supplier the following morning. The technician told me the approximate time he would be at my house. This time, too, he arrived right on time, and the dryer was quickly repaired. The quote I was given was exactly the price I was charged. Would definitely use this company again!

.Total failure had to buy a new washing machine. He is a fine gentleman and I wish him no ill will, but this seamed out of his depth. He called someone on the phone for advise. He followed it took hours for him to hook it up and the controller only to find it did not work.He attempted to put old controller in to get it to repeat failure codes and it was not working either he was frustrated..As was I. Bless his heart he gave a full effort but the result were poor. Bottom line We paid over $800 for a new cost of board and install.and many wasted hours.

was very nice - fixed the washer in about 10 minutes. Said minor repairs were part of the service call. I was pleased with the service and the repair. I would definitely call Mr.

I had left my $3000

refrigerator in my garage for a couple of months without leaving it running and it stopped cooling (big mistake). I called the provider and the owner agreed to send a technician on 7/23/2014 in the morning. The technician (not the owner) failed to appear on time, but was kind enough to call, after he missed his appointment, and reschedule for 7/24/2014. I explained I was in the middle moving and needed to get my refrigerator working before the move.
The technician arrived on time for the second appointment and looked at my frig for about 5 minutes and determined all the parts were working. He tells me to run the frig for 24 hours and if it doesn't start cooling, call them back and they will re-charge the frig the next day. I was charged $58 for the service call, which I don't mind paying, especially since I was told I wouldn't be charged for a second service call.
I called back on

25th and left several messages because my frig wasn't cooling . Finally, late Friday afternoon I spoke with the owner of the company and explained I was in the process of moving and needed someone to look at my frig before the move. He then told me that he would come to my new house on Sunday afternoon and that I needed to call him once I moved in.
I called the owner on Sunday afternoon and he said he was "too busy" Sunday and can't come by (which I understand if you don't work on Sunday but don't make promises you can't keep!). He then said he would come by Monday morning (

How would he know my frig was junk? He never bothered to look at it. The owner was very rude. The first technician was very nice but in the end I would never hire this company.

It went very well. Mr.

asked several questions, looked carefully at the unit's components, explained different elements, and when no sure diagnosis could be made advised us on how to monitor the unit over the next few days. Loved the idea of putting full fat ice cream in the freezer to test for 'cold'. (Doesn't get much better than that). Mr.

did not request payment until he had reviewed the results of our 'monitoring' of the system. Appreciated his coming out on a holiday, his professionalism, and communication with us. A very positive experience.

I scheduled the repair through the Maytag site and received a confirmation for today, 7/15 between 6am-2pm and that the technician would call ahead. I still have the email to prove it. This morning, I called to confirm because I had a 10am meeting and they let me know the technician would be coming around 3:30pm. Outside the initial window but I appreciated the heads up. I had a 4pm meeting so I confirmed that they call when he was on his way.

received a message at 4pm stating that the technician came to my house and there was no one there so he left. I promptly called back and asked why no one called me. The lady was extremely rude and said she had no idea why Maytag would have given me that window and then actually swore that she, nor anyone in their office had promised a call ahead. She said she could reschedule but it "might be a while because they were pretty backed up". Ah yes, probably because you waste your time driving to people's houses and not giving them a heads up that you are coming. It's not that hard people.

Called about 3 companies to fix a Haier Portable A/C. Their are very few companies in the Jacksonville , FL area that fix them. Discussed it with

Service and they were professional, informative and friendly. Took A/C to them and picked it up the next day.
They were so good I am having them come to my house to fix my ice maker, which they were able to quote price over the phone.

Ice maker was not making ice. Called on a Friday and scheduled an appointment for Monday 9-12. Technician called ahead 30 minutes and showed up in the agreed upon time frame. Diagnosed in 5 minutes the the ice maker needed to be replaced. He had one on the truck and it was installed in about 5 minutes. Was also not getting water from the side door dispenser. He diagnosed a bad water valve and offered to replace for the price of the part only, no labor. I declined, as I can live without the water being dispensed, but I did appreciate the offer. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The repairman was called about a clothes washer that seemed to have water supply problems. When he arrived he was gruff and asked a few questions. Acted rather frustrated about the fact that there seemed to be multiple problems indicated. Looked at the valves leading to the washer and immediately blamed them. Cleaned the intake screens and declared that the valves needed to be replaced. Since we had recently had a repipe we then called the original plumbing company and they came out and declared the valves fine. I opened the intake screens and noticed that the original repairman scraped them but did not remove the precipitate from the screens. A novice should know that turbulence in the intake would redistribute the precipitate. After removing the screens and cleaning them, the washer now works better. So, I paid someone to be rude, and do an inadequate job, and bill me for it. yippee.
