"Excellent. Mr.
was honest and forthright and the final product exceeded expectations. He came (outside normal business hours) for an initial measurement to" give a quote, we then met at his shop (on a saturday, no less) to discuss options and plans, he then came back for more precise measurements and then the fabrication was complete well within the time estimated. The installation was without incident and we love our new railing.

"8/11/11- Crew installs steel fence out front. When I got home from work I was checking out the front fence and noticed that it had rubber grommets holding in the pickets…..I" was shocked because this was nothing like the fence that I had agreed on, and it was more than obvious that this was not the fence that I had paid for. It was flimsy and the coating was scratched very easily. When I asked one of the installers if the fence was MONTAGE made by Ameristar, he stated that he had never worked with this particular product before and that he was just installing what he was told to install. By days end the back fence is up but there is a problem, the back section is about a foot off from being level. I talked to the crew building it and they informed me that the guy who set the posts set them unlevel, and that they were just there to do the pickets. I was starting to get the feeling that this fence job may go very wrong. I decided to Text Mr.
another copy of the photo of the Cedar fence out back that we had agreed on at contract signing and also printed a copy and gave it to the installers. 8/12/11- I took pictures of the steel fence and called Ameristar myself to find out if it fact the fence was manufactured by Ameristar. I spoke with
whom informed me that the product that was being placed in my front yard was not in fact a product that they manufactured, and from what she could gather, I may be being scammed. After getting my facts together, I called Mr.
and asked if he could meet with me, we agreed to meet the following day. 8/13/11- When Mr.
arrives at my home and I ask him to tell me the manufacture of the fence being installed in my front yard. He reply's "Ameristar" and proceeds to explain that it is a new product they just came out with this year, and that that is why his guys were not familiar with the changes in the product. I told him that I had spoken with Ameristar myself and that I knew that that was not their product and that I would be calling the district attorney's office and reporting him for fraud first thing Monday morning. Mr.
then began retracting his statements and admitted that the fence was made by another manufacturer that was far less expensive and he had planned on letting me know when it was time to settle the bill. I told Mr.
that I wanted what was in the contract, no more, no less, and that I wanted the cheap fence and posts removed immediately. He agreed to do so and I ask that he put it into writing because at this point I no longer trusted him. he agreed. ( see contract # 2) contract reads " BRING CREW OUT ON TUES 8/16 FINISH PRIVACY FENCE, ALSO BRING 2ND CREW OUT TO REMOVE ALL FRONT YARD W.I. (WROUGHT IRON), REINSTALL ALL NEW MONTAGE POSTS IN CONCRETE, RETURN ON THURSDAY TO INSTALL MONTAGE PANELS, WEATHER PERMITTING. When Mr.
hands me this contract he assures me that he will have the new fence up and the back fence complete no later than Thursday 8/18/11. 8/22/11- Nine days later (six days from the second contract date), after repeated attempts to contact Mr.
shows back up to work on the fence. At this point I have tried to contact Mr.
at least ten to fifteen times by phone, leaving messages on his cell phone, and messages with his secretary. He refuses to talk to me and I have no clue what his intentions are at this time. A crew cuts the steel fence down out of the front yard and throws it in a pile in the back yard, while another crew works on correcting the back fence. A crew removes the posts out front (leaving three of the old ones in place) only to find out that they damaged my concrete drive, walkway, and sidewalks while doing so, and also cut power lines to my fountain and yard lights. I called and spoke with
, Mr.
's sectary, and she provided me their insurance information via email. 8/25/11- Mr.
calls me while I'm at work and gets very nasty with me. Informs me that he's having personal problems and that I have no right calling him. I inform him that I wanted the fence that they cut down and piled up in my back yard removed immediately before someone got hurt on the sharp jagged edges. I asked if he would meet with me and go over the problems they were having with the back fence, he refused. I told him that they had damaged my property while removing the front fence and he went off on me about how much this job was costing him now and that he was already resigning this whole job as a loss. At this time there are 15 to 20 two foot deep holes left all the way around my front yard , I told Mr.
that I was fearful about someone getting hurt or being sued leaving the holes out by the sidewalk, and he just blew me off. I asked Mr.
about the special ordered items and he assured me that they were ordered but had not come in yet, but by now I was starting to get suspicious. So I asked him who his distributor was and he told me it was Master Halco of Indianapolis. 8/25/11- Crews showed up briefly and places a few panels out FRONT(steel) in the afternoon and says someone else will be back to finish. Crew shows back up in evening and proceeds to finish the BACK(cedar) fence. At this point it's more then obvious that the 6x6 post are way to short and will not match the fence as shown in the photo. Final trim work on the fence is done half hazardly leaving almost a 1/2" gaps in some places and the panels are not even secured to the post, they are just literally setting on brackets. They left without building a back gate or putting on any of the copper post caps. I call Mr.
and express my concerns with the workmanship and he informs he "that’s the way he builds fences" and that the fence needs room to expand and contract. 8/26/11- Crew shows up to finish installing MONTAGE fence panels out front. get most panels in place but by only securing them by using one screw to hold them in place. Also retrieve five panels that have been laying out in the yard rusting and reinstalled them. At this time I might add that at no time have they used ZINC-RICH primer or MONTAGE custom finish to protect the cut edges. They spray painted rust-oleum primer and master halco paint on the ends which clearly negates the warranty. They also ran out of montage components to secure the panels and used nuts and bolts from the first fence that Mr.
tried to defraud me with to finish up. Cedar caps are put in place on back fence, as well as back gate. 8/30/11- Today I decided to call Master Halco of Indianapolis and spoke with Rod. I asked him if he could look up and see if Mr.
had ordered any gates or post caps from Ameristar. He was able to look up
's account and see that no such order existed, I told him that it was supposedly order back on 7/18/11 and he told me that Mr.
had no orders in with them at all. I asked him if Mr.
had been purchasing montage fence threw them and he replied yes. He gave me the number to Ameristar and said I could call them directly and see if Mr.
had ordered the gates threw another distributor. 8/31/11- I spoke with
at Ameristar. She was able to look up all orders placed by Master Halco of Indianapolis, and said there was nothing matching my order. She also looked up all orders in the past 90 days matching the style and diminutions of the gates that were in question and came up with nothing. It was then that I knew that Mr.
had taken my money and had never ordered the materials that he claimed he needed the 4,000.00 deposit for. 8/31/11- I call Fifth Third Bank and notify them that
. had defrauded me and taken my money and not provided the service or goods that were promised per the contract signed on 7/18/11. 9/1/11- Mr.
calls me and tells me that if I want my fence done I have to pay him an additional 1,500.00 to 2,000.00 plus the remaining amount of the contract of 4,000.00 before he will proceed any farther with my fence. Also informs me that he has not ordered any of the gates because they cost too much and that he" has already lost his a** on this job". Says the drive gate is going to cost him 3,000.00 alone and that he refuses to pay for it. I reminded him of our contracts and his inability to fulfill either one of them, and that I would not be paying him any more money. I also informed him that I had spoken to Fifth Third about the deposit and would be seeking a return of those funds as well. I reminded him that what he was doing to me was illegal and that he was breaking the law. 9/5/11- I call Ameristar to see if by any
gates have been ordered. I was told NOT TO DATE 9/13/11-
's insurance company comes out and reviews damages done to my property. 9/22/11- Have not heard a word from Mr.
or anyone from
for 21 days. 9/23/11- I have a contract in Mr.
's writing stating that he will have my fence done on 8/18/11. As of today that is 36 days ago. I've tried to work with Mr.
even though he has shown in his actions to defraud me not only once, but twice. He has breached both contracts that he has with me and refuses to finish the work that he started per those contracts. To date I have NO drive gates, NO entry gate, NO walkway gate, NO "New England" post caps, nor has the fence that was erected been completed. I have damage to my property and am waiting to hear back from
's insurance company as to whether or not they will cover my loss. 75 days later!!!!!!! 11/8/11- update*** I ended up getting paid almost 3,000 dollars in damages to my property by Quality Fences Insurance Company. And after 75 days, and the return of my deposit from the credit card company, Mr.
calls me and asks if he can come finish the job???? he's got a lot of nerve!!! I respectfully decline his offer, so now he is trying to place a
on my home for 8,000.00 Neighbors beware...these people are crooks!!!!!

came to our place on a weekend for the estimate - we couldn't find any other company willing to work around our schedule. He was very professional" and did not pressure us with choice of materials to try to sell us a big ticket item. We initially wanted chain link, but ultimately chose the ornamental fence despite its increased cost as it was the best fit given our yard. The men came out in multitudes and the fence was completed in 2-3 days (they had to come one more time for additional work). There was a mix-up with one fence detail we wanted, but they came back without argument and fixed it at their expense. We ended up with more fence than we paid for. They are not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for. The finished product is beautiful and we had a very pleasant experience with this company. No regrets with our choice. We probably won't use them again as they did such a good job and have such a good product that I expect the fence to last for a long time without problems.

Wrought Iron reviews in Indianapolis

Bill responded promptly to email, did estimate and order. Fencing came within a couple of weeks, put in fence next day. Looks great even with allowances they needed to make for steep and uneven slopes in yard.

They are the most reasonably priced wrought iron door company I could find in the Angie's List Publication and phone book. The installers were polite, courteous, and efficient. I am pleased with my door. I bought doors from them back in the '90s. I would call them tomorrow, if needed, without hesitation.

Everything went very well. From start to finish,
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to all of our requests and inquiries. We didn't get other estimates from other companies. I saw their work in several locations and knew that I wanted to use them. Their attention to detail was excellent. We had two sections of our fence that had to be custom made, and the workmanship was perfect. I would highly recommend
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
to everyone.

Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
was very knowledgeable, available and patient throughout the entire process. I was able to meet
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
on a number of occasions at a designer fabric shop where she and I combed through hundreds of fabrics until I found exactly what I had in mind. We opted to go with panels and a decorative wrought iron rod and were extremely pleased with the outcome.
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
definitely offers a custom made product and is a professional to work with.

I had a very small job, but
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
was great about being willing to do it for me. We had shortened an interior wrought iron stair railing and wanted a curved piece attached to the remaining piece for a decorative and smooth finish. When they were done you couldn't even tell they were originally two pieces. The guys at the shop were considerate about helping me get the heavy piece in and out of my car. The office staff was really friendly too. If I had a bigger job I would definitely go to them.

Requested quotes from several vendors for security doors and window guards for all 1st level windows and doors on duplex units. Initial price from
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
's was $3166 and staff was very helpful. Reviewed their product and contracted to get the work done. Estimated delivery 2-3 weeks. When the doors and window guards were ready, I was still waiting on storm/screen combos to be put on windows so requested
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
just install the doors and hold the window guards.
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
installed the security doors in 2 days and even did additional door frame work on the back doors. When the storm/screens were done,
Indianapolis Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
installed the window guards. Somehow, they only had ordered enough window guards for one unit. The window guards for the second unit had to be ordered at additional cost and another 2-3 weeks. They got them installed, but I'd recommend double checking they quote and order the right amount in the beginning. Staff is friendly though. Quality of product is good.

They came highly recommended by my daughter and the work was excellent. I'm not sure how to grade them on price since I haven't had this type of work done before, but it seemed reasonable for the work done. They were responsive and worked me in the best they could. They came when they said they would.
