"I bought this car from a relatively horrible car dealer. Turns out it had a potential repair that would cost me $2000 a couple months after my purchase. I luckily had a third party warranty, but auto repair places are notorious for not honoring warranties. B&T Honored the warranty, did the repair, and all I had to pay was $200. Plus, they always answer the phone so pleasantly and happy that you just have to like working with them.

"The manager gambled on the possibility that the car might be able to be fixed just by adding transmission fluid I believe because we happened to go back to
Indianapolis Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Transmission to pick up something we had left in the car and found out that they were attempting to see if the car could be repaired by adding the fluid. We were never given that option, but it was probably a long shot anyway, I would guess. Even so, I would have liked to have had the option to at least try that and see if it would work. All in all, it worked out all right because we got a little money out of a car that would need major repairs and

Transmission got a car that, I found out later, was just sold for parts. They didn't replace the transmission either so they could "keep the guys busy" as was told to me earlier. Probably he just crunched more numbers on it to inform his decision.

"i have taken my vehicles to

tires for several years. this particular visit my SUV stopped running on the way home from vacation. while i was able to arrange for my own tow back to indy,
Indianapolis Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
was awesome when we arrived. we were able to unload it right into the garage. the next day i had a call from them telling me everything that was wrong with the vehicle, what the course of action was and what the high-end estimate was.
i needed a new engine, so to say the the least, i knew it would be (a) pricey and (b) it would be in the shop for several days. while it was there, i had them take a look and fix a couple other items that needed attention. in the end, the price was spot on with the estimate. and the vehicle was finished in the time frame they had given me.

"I was taking my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport to the corner gas station and when I was leaving the station to go back home - nothing - the engine just revved and would not go into gear. The station was nice enough to let me push it to a spot on the side of the building until it could be towed the next day. The next morning I called
Indianapolis Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
's Transmission and explained what happened the night before. They said they would tow my car and let me know. I called back the next day and they verified that the transmission had gone out. They stated that was pretty good for this vehicle in that the average is between 80,000 and 100,000 miles and my vehicle had 110,000 miles. My Jeep was towed on Monday and on Tuesday they said they would have it ready for me on Friday. I called back on Friday evening and asked the status of the Jeep and they said they were waiting on one last part to install and they would test drive it and call me back. They close at 6:00p.m. on Friday and are not open on Saturday so I was not sure if I would get the car back for the weekend. They called back two more times after 6:00p.m. and the first time they said they just got the part and were installing it and then they called back and said they were test driving it and that I could come and pick it up. I went and picked it up after 8:00p.m. and they were waiting there for me. They said they were doing everything they could to get the car back to me without holding it over the weekend. I appreciated that extra effort because everyone is ready to go home early on a Friday but they stayed and finished the job just so I would not be without a vehicle any longer than I had to be. I would and will recommend them to anyone with any kind of transmission issue. They are honest, dependable and give you a fair price."

"I was looking into purchasing this 2000
Indianapolis Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
but there was a service engine light on. I asked the seller to take the car to this shop and find out what the code was because they specialize in Cadillac's. They checked it out and went to great depth to tell me what the code was. The honesty of this shop and how thorough they are is why I trust them. I don't want the fluff just the facts and I feel like that's what I got."

"They misdiagnosed the problem with my car. They told me that I needed a new transmission. I got a second opinion and now my car is still running. The other shop told me it was just low fluid. The other shop then filled it up and sent me on my way."

was highly recommended by another shop my car was at and they do honest professional work. This is excellent given that a lot of transmission shops have the reputation of performing less than honest work. With that said though, they do have some problems with communication and punctuality at times.

I came in on Thursday 1/5/2012, explained the problem with my clutch and was told that they probably would not get to my car on that day given that they had so many cars in line after the holidays. I was told that they would call me the next day (1/6) with an estimate. It was late in the day on Friday 1/6 and I hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call. I was told they could not get to my car on that day but they would give me a call in the morning on Monday 1/9 (they're not open over the weekend). On Monday 1/9 I still hadn't heard from them by the mid-afternoon so I gave them another call. Again they said they could not get to my car and would (for sure) call me on Tuesday 1/10. Finally I did receive a phone call from
Indianapolis Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
on Tuesday morning (5 days after I dropped my car off) with the estimate. He apologized for the wait and explained that both the master and slave cylinders were probably in need of replacement an given the mileage (135k) it would be highly recommended that I go ahead and do the clutch as well. I agreed, and he said it would be done on Thursday 1/12.

The work was done on Thursday 1/12 and the clutch/hydralics work better than ever. The work was also done for a fair price. My only issue with the shop was their communication. If they would have been straight with me about the amount of time it would take to get to my car when I first came in I could have considered that information when arranging for alternative transportation. And I don't appreciate being told on multiple occasions that "they'll call in the morning" without the proper follow-up. If its going to take a while to get to my car just be straight with me and tell me its going to be a few days. The bottom line though is that they do professional work as a fair price and this is probably the first place I'd call if I have transmission problems in the future. I'm just hoping that the communication problems were an anomaly.
