arrived in about an hour. He assessed the problem and gave me a quote. It was a difficult space to work with as the leak was in a pipe underneath the vanity. worked diligently and replaced the pipe and valve from the vavle through the floor down into the basement.

"I live in an older home (1920's) with the plumbing quirks that come with a house built in that era so I'm picky about plumbers. I have a large maple tree in my front yard, so I usually have to get my main line cleaned out every couple of years. I've used another company with a very good reputation for many years, but wasn't plesed to find out that they were recently purchased by a much larger company. So I did my research on Angie's List, and ended up calling because they are family-owned, have excellent reviews, AND specifically specialize in older homes. This time, my line was completely backed up. I was so pleased with the customer service and the quality of the work performed. One family member scheduled me; then two others came initially the evening before to check the access to my clean out. The following morning, the two plumbers came with a board just the right length to make sure my basement stairs (also old) were supported enouh to get the machine down them. They worked for an hour and got my line opened up completely - an old metal cap had fallen into the line evidently and caused the initial blockage. Price was fair, and work was excellent and professional.
The only slightly less than positive part of the experience was getting them to my house on time. I think they may have more work than they can manage at the moment. As far as I'm concerned, however, their quality of work was more than balanced by their deficiency in punctuality. They were careful, professional, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely call them next time."

" and his son did an EXCELLENT job remodeling our bathroom. was very professional from the moment I met him. He arrived on time for the initial estimate and was very courteous. He provided an estimate over the phone after seeing the bathroom and followed up with a written estimate. 's communication is excellent and by far the best of any person I have worked with. He made suggestions on where to go for the new materials and was even able to get the tub and fixtures for us at a discount. When and his son arrived each day they got straight to work. They laid down blankets to protect the hardwood floors as they went in and out of the house and kept the area very clean and tidy. When they left each afternoon, the entire area was swept clean and all tools, boxes, etc, were put away. When replacing the exhaust fan, they noticed a potential fire hazard with the old wiring and j-box so they repaired the situation right on the spot. 's work is very good and his attention to detail demonstrates his craftsmanship. We changed a few things as we went and added some extra painting and was very accommodating to our requests. I would certainly recommend to anyone and would certainly use his services again."

" First of all Village Plumbing, Indianapolis, charges a flat rate - $400.00. The "plumber" got the householder's VERBAL agreement that he would be willing to pay up to $400.00 (a flat rate) for their services.
We described what might be wrong, since we had experienced a burning rubber odor and had called the fire department in the middle of the night. The furnaces had been checked out as OK by and Cooling. So we called Village Plumbing, since and Air Conditioning recommended them, (A Kick back??"). After checking the sump pump, the"plumber" said the odor did not come from that. Then he replaced the hot and cold washers on the hall bath tub ($248.00!) and a toilet repair ($125.00!) "other discounts???-($89.00), Energy/Materials charge -$5.00, Diagnostic Charge-$89.00.
When we asked for an ITEMIZED REPORT of the entire bill, such as service call, labor and materials, the answer was "WE don't DO ITEMIZED REPORTS for customers!!!!! ( What kind of a" business" are they running???1111)."

"They did a good job. They were extremely helpful and did a lot of work. It was an enormous project. They were polite, courteous and cleaned up after their work. They gave us 7 days for a replacement upgrade, and this was very courteous for them to give us time to think about it even if we didn't take advantage of it."

" came out an gave us an estimate for a small bathroom. Our home is older and the bathroom had a bulkhead in it and also made suggestions for the shower. is very knowlegeable and has great attention to detail. He suggested putting a niche in the shower and to raise the shower head since my husband is taller. pretty much lets you determine the cost of the job. He made recommendations for companies that he has used for example suggested Distinctive Kitchen & Bath for custom cabinets which we did do. Great suggestion. We picked out the tile, he suggested the Tile Shop where we were given his discount, we picked out our sink, toilet, towel bar, faucets, shower heads, etc. from a hardware store, so you can be as economical as possible or go high-end. and Nick are meticulous with the attention to detail. They found part of the subfloor rotted which they replaced from a previous remodel and found the electrical was not up to code. Also Included in 's cost was a granite countertop for the vanity. The remodel took longer than anticipated, some due to the terrible weather we had in February, but it was worth it. My husband is thrilled with the bathroom and the value that it added to our home. . "
