Physical Therapy Reviews in Indianapolis

After 5 days in the acute care hospital, my mother transferred to Rehab. The transition went smoothly, thanks to the professionals at Rehab of
. The therapy for a 90-year old was as good as it gets, and I was sorry that we had to leave when we did because I think she was making better progress there than at the current sub-acute rehab facility.

I was referred to the office by a friend who highly recommended the staff at the southside location. My physician actually had suggested another location that he had a financial interest in so I took the advice of my friend instead. The physical therapists at this location were great. They took the time needed to set up a regimen, and adjusted it depending on where the most painful areas were at the time of the visit. They used a combination of massage, pressure and exercise. The therapy was as effective as it could be - it isn't a cure for two pinched nerves unfortunately but I felt the staff did everything they could to help me and in the end, I did feel much better. The office staff there was always friendly, and I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for my scheduled appointment. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly there.
was my therapist and he was such a nice guy - we've seen each other after my therapy there and he has always spoken to me and asked how I am doing. If my pain returns to the degree I need therapy again, I will definitely return to
and ask
to be my therapist.

Physical Therapy reviews in Indianapolis

- I've been to other physical therapy providers in the past, but
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
was definately the best. I had appointments twice a week for about three months, and they definately have an overall atmosphere of caring.

I would use them again if needed and recommend them to other patients.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Cotton is the most knowledgeable physical therapist I've ever known.

Do be specific about the pain you are experiencing-all of it. If you have a tingle in your foot and a spasm in your arm, let Dr.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
know. You'd be amazed at how well his recommendations work. I didn't realize that my headaches were actually caused by tension in my neck.

Do be patient. It may take several adjustments to get serious relief.

Do check with your insurance about chiropractic coverage. This is a confusing area. Some are willing to cover the massage as physical therapy, but others won't. Some carriers will cover more than the typical 12 per year if done in conjunction with the onsite physical therapy. Call ahead.

Do your homework. When
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
gives you stretches to do at home, do them. the physical therapy helps keep things in place and strengthen the weak areas so the adjustments last longer.

Do get a message before your adjustment. It loosens everything up and makes for a more effective adjustment.

Now is a good time to get started. You've probably met your deductibles for the year. Make use of the 12 (depending on your plan) appointments before the end of the year.

It went great. They were very resposive to my needs and paitent with my difficulty explaining what was wrong. It also seemed once one problem was "fixed" something else wouldn't be working right, but they would just work on the next problem.
The therapist was very thorough and examined every aspect of my knee, not just what the surgery was trying to fix. She started me on a exercise plan that continued to get more aggressive as my leg got stronger.
They let me change out of my work uniform when I got there. Let me warm up on my own and got me started on my exercises. A therapist would check my progress every time was there and they were constantly tweeking my exercises to better target muscles imbalances and correct how I moved.
I think my surgery was successful mostly because of the care I got at APT.

I went to Dr.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
after a colleague recommended him. I have been extremely happy with the treatment I have received. The pinched nerve (which was very painful) is resolved. The problems with my back are exacerbated by arthritis but are much better and require less pain medication now. I have fairly severe migraine headaches, and the one I got last month was one of the worst I have had. Luckily Dr.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
was able to help get rid of it. Dr.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
is very professional and treats his patients with respect. At the same time, he is friendly and easy to talk to. Communication is an important part of any doctor/patient relationship, and when I go there, I always feel like my questions will be (have been) answered thoroughly. Dr.

I have a 'frozen shoulder'.
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
and the southside staff were wonderful in helping me understand what was going on and working with my schedule to get me in for a lot of therapy and getting my shoulder functional. And they helped work with me and my insurance deductible.

and his entire staff was Great, it wasn't easy but I didn't mind going in because they were all so easy to be around. This is the happiest office I've ever been in. I'm not finished, doing home therapy now but they explained it may take a year and they offered to have me come back any time I needed them. I can't say enough good things about this whole organization.

friendly and helpful staff worked with me to regain function and reduce pain in my shoulder after an auto accident. Obtained an appointment immediately and started very quickly. Worked around my schedule to make sure I had several sessions per week. Instructed me on exercises I could do at home to continue therapy. Gave me the tools I need to maintain the gains and progress.

It was very good. The therapist was very good with performing the procedures, and explaining things. The therapist was very helpful and knowledgeable. The treatment helped me greatly. This was my second visit as a Vietnam veteran with injury.

This was a very clean office and overall the staff was very kind and easy to get along with. I had my first appointment set up with
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
before I had my shoulder surgery. At first I wasn't very excited about going to therapy as I already lift weights at the gym and thought to myself 'what could I possibly learn since I already lift weights' Well,
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
proved me wrong. She showed me lots of strengthening exercises for the tiny muscles in my shoulder that I never paid any attention to. Ultimately I had to move forward with the surgery. After the surgery I went back to therapy to now work on rehabilitation. Again,
Indianapolis Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
worked with me on several excercises. She made sure everything I did was not going to push myself beyond my limit. I was also prescribed a tens unit which really made a big difference in my healing process. I still use the tens unit to this day on my shoulder.
