"Having had the same situation with my left knee 2 years prior, I went into the appointment expecting a similar case. Dr.
Indianapolis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
listened patiently as I explained the pain I was currently experiencing, as well as my past surgery on my left knee. After the X-rays, he took the time to show me the pictures and explain what had occurred. Then he noted that surgery was the best option, though he did leave the choice for me to make. Before leaving the office, the staff was able to schedule my surgery for me, and gave me all the information I needed to know prior to my surgery. They were friendly and very helpful.

"We got an appointment within a day or 2. My husband was seen promptly, and scheduled for an MRI that week. It turned out to be a bone spur in the shoulder.
Dr.
Indianapolis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
explained our options thoroughly, and we decided to have the joint injected with steroid to reduce the pain as we were about to go on a vacation that could not be rescheduled.
4 weeks later, we decided to go ahead with surgery. Everything went smoothly, including recovery, pain management, and subsequent physical theraly at the same facility.
The follow-up from the OrthoIndy staff was also top-notch.
We highly recomment them, and especially Dr.

and his team of nurses & PAs.

After 7mo I was still unable to jog and then sought a second opinion. During a second opinion it was diagnosed that I had completely ruptured to tendon and the muscle was not connected. It would never heal on its own. It required surgery to repair.
Indianapolis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
miss-diagnosis caused me 7mo delay on surgery I should have had immediately.

Disappointed in
Indianapolis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and what they charged for a misdiagnosis!

"I have seen him a couple of times off and on. He actually did a surgery on my son on his foot, which I was really happy with. The one thing that I like about him is that he is ready to listen. I had an orthotic made and it wasn’t helping me and I had suggested that I would go somewhere else that I had found out about, and he was very happy to write up an order to go to a different place that I had suggested. He is always open to suggestions and he helped me fix my plantar fasciitis problem; I am not sure yet, but it is manageable."

"Very professional, from office staff to provider. Absolutely will go back for care when time comes down the road."

"Dr.
Indianapolis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and his staff quickly pointed out some things that nobody had noticed before. For example, they compared the sore knee to the regular knee and was able to show I was favoring the "bad" knee. They took x-rays right onsite and also testing the knee in their therapy room. They should me exercises to do and also had me purchase a great device from them that allows both a compression and ice of the knee when if it gets real bad. I returned several times to the therapy room to make sure the exercises were having a positive impact. And there were doing the trick. I learned alot about my issue.
I loved their motto that surgery should be the last resort. I was very impressed with them, would certainly go back if I need to and have recommended them to anyone who needed such an informative and professional specialists.

"he performed surgery to remove the tumor and then filled the cavity in my bone with bone cement. The procedure was supposed to be outpatient, but I ended up being in the hospital for 3 days because he didn't do blood work before surgery. It turns out that I was severely anemic, and kept passing out after surgery. Even though the recovery nurse told him my red blood count was very low and she thought I needed a transfusion, he refused to acknowledge it. They admitted me because I could not sit up much less go home. Finally a day later, they acknowledged that I needed a transfusion. But they didn't have my blood type (no blood work), had given me so much saline solution that I was very swollen and couldn't draw blood, so they finally reversed my IV. Then when they sent me home, he said nothing about keeping my leg elevated (the physical therapist told me two weeks later when I went for the first time and she saw how swollen it was). When he removed the bandage he didn't even look at the incision. I was on crutches for 6 weeks, and after that he told me I was fine to go back to normal activities. I had put no weight on my leg for 6 weeks, so I asked whether I should ease into not using the crutches (use them part of the day or use one for a few days). He said nope, normal activities were fine. Two weeks later, after only walking without crutches, I had a lot of pain, I went back in and they did an xray. He walked into the room, said "I don't believe it, I've never had this happen before, you broke it". He told me to go back on the crutches, and to come back in 6 weeks. I now have a leg that is permanently crooked and shorter than the other one because of the break. While Dr. rougraff may be a competent surgeon, his lack of communication skills, bedside manner, lack of attention to anything but the surgery make him a very poor physician overall."

"She is great. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I did not have any problems with whatever she has prescribed or asked me to do. She is just available on Mondays and Tuesdays. Billing and administration is fine. I would use her in the future."
