Indianapolis Back Surgeons Reviews

"Nurse couldn't start an IV. Took her numerous tries. I've had IV's previous and after being at Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital and it only took them one stick. Went to another hospital due to the bruising at the site 2 weeks later due to concern of blood clots. I was put on antibodics. Dr.

who did the cervical spinal block was a total jerk. I explained the sedative he wanted to use did not work with me. His response was I will not change my protocol for one patient. We said we had a prescription from "HIS" nurse, that it had already been discussed at the previous appt., and she ordered (wrote a prescription) a different sedative. He said no one tells me what med's to use during my surgeries. He then "promised" I would be sedated before the procedure was performed. When I told him I was not, he went ahead and did the block anyway and sent me into a panic attack which he ignored. By the way, his OP note states the patient tolerated the procedure quite well and will be contacted in 1 week to determine the benefits of the injection. I never received that phone call either."
"The people are very nice here. I took my partner here for a back problem. She signed in and waited a few minutes to be called. They were not going to let me come back with her, which she had insisted upon. She was afraid, and there was no reason I couldn't be there. They took her vital signs and then took her to a room where she changed into a gown and was laid on a table. Then they let me join her for the procedure. They used a machine to look into her spine so they could see what they were doing. Then they sterilized her back and put a needle in there to put some medicine into her spinal canal. They did not talk to either of us much, and that added to our tension, but she made it. We sat there for 15 minutes after the shots and they let me leave."
"His specialty is spine surgery. I have been using his services for about six years. He is one of the best, is extremely knowledgeable and is very willing to explain what the problem is and what your options are. He staff are all really good. His group that he practices with is Indiana Spine Group. My insurance covers the cost."
"He is a fine man. I haven't been to see him in awhile but as far as I know, he's still okay. He has a good reputation and I will continue to use him in the future. "
