Hip Replacement Reviews in Indianapolis

He was only 38 at the time of our consultation, and had been told previously that he was not a candidate for hip replacement because of his age. He was told to wait as long as possible by many other doctors, even though the pain was severe and constant. Dr
took x-rays and the first thing he said was 'Wow, you must be in a lot of pain'. We discussed how he had been managing the pain for the past 10 years, and Dr
decided he was a candidate for the surgery. His nurse and staff sent us home with a booklet of literature covering many things - exercises to do to prepare his body for surgery, discharge planning, and what to expect after surgery, just to name a few. We also had a class to receive more information before the surgery. They always made sure that information was available, and were there to answer any questions. There was even an online way to submit any questions he had directly to Dr
, or his nurse, and receive an answer directly from them. The surgery went great, and Dr
had a great bedside manner while we were in the
hospital for the 3 days following the surgery. He was out of bed and in a chair by the next day, beginning rehab. We have nothing but great feelings for the staff and nurses of
and Dr
. We would use him again if necessary, and refer to him without reservation.

He and his P.A. were very kind, thorough, and made me feel well taken care of! I can't say enough about how much better I'm moving since the surgery! I need to have my left hip replaced also and I'm truly looking forward to another terrific experience.

Hip Replacement reviews in Indianapolis

I used him for several years prior to the surgery. I wouldn't use him again. I had a bad experience with my hip surgery. I ended up having to have another doctor and hip surgery as a result. Everything that had been put in fell apart. It's a long story, but I don't care to go back to him again. He left me with my hip like that for a week. The doctor that I ended up getting said that I should have been put in the hospital immediately. I was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk for a week because he said we couldn't do any surgery until the following Wednesday.

His professionalism and his skills as a surgeon are excellent. He is a really straightforward guy and I think his bedside manner is really good. He?ll talk to you so that you understand what he means and I like that. The staff is very good; they are all informative and friendly.

The staff is terrific, they are very caring, helpful, and professional. I'm not going back to my doctor because he seemed to be to excited about surgery. I guess he wasn't experienced enough. My doctor was professional but I didn't feel like I got followed up appropriately. I got a call back but it wasn't from him.

He is very personable and has a good bedside manner. I think he is very knowledgeable in his field. I am very pleased with the results of both hips. If I have a question, I can email his office, and they get back to me within a day. That way, if the assistant needs to talk to Dr

about my problem, they can do so before responding to me. You don't get that in a lot of other doctor's offices.

In March, everything that was put in broke apart. I had a total dislocation, and not the kind that can be put back in. I ended up going to another doctor and I ended up with a five hour surgery as a result of this. I am now on a walker and I have been since April. He does have very poor interaction with his patients.

I had pins and screws put in prior to the hip replacement, and it wasn't healing correctly. Dr.

took them out and performed a hip replacement. I felt minimal to no pain, except for some minor muscle aches. He is very personable and attentive, and he performed a follow up x-

to check how it was healing. He will suggest an alternative measure if you are not healing properly. I would use him again.
