Optometry Reviews in Indianapolis

I was in a small room with the doctors assistant for almost two hours during which she repeatedly berated me because one second the images were clear and then they were blurry. After almost making me cry she declared the I must have dry eyes and was therefore having a hard time focusing. After dilating my eyes she kept me in the room to come back twice and see if I could now see better with my lenses. It was a horrible experience. The doctor came bumbling in for all of 5 minutes changing my perscription without telling me and then when I asked he was all
. To make matters worse he wrote my prscription out for the lenses he was switching me off of. Purchasing new lenses for my glasses was not much better and the lady kept making fun of how old my glasses were.

I was present before the appointment time and had a longer than usual wait. Dr.
does a good job of examining one's eyes, has a good "chairside" manner, and takes time to answer questions. They accept Medicare. I appreciate her skills as an optometrist and will continue seeing her for my annual exams. In watching the staff helping people select frames I got the impression it was an "upscale" shop and decided to go elsewhere to get the prescription filled.

When I called to schedule an appointment, it was almost 6 weeks before I could get in.
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
offered to put me on the cancellation list and she called about 3 weeks later with an open spot on the same day. I had a great experience. The office is small (just Dr

Our family has been going to
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
for several years for our eye exams. Dr.

and Dr

are both wonderful. They are professional, friendly and take time to explain everything that they're doing during the exam. Afterwards, they go over all the results and take time to answer any and all questions that I've had. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this office to others.

The visit with the doctor was very good. The staff that performed some of the testing prior to the physician seeing us were good but some of their explainations of the tests were very simplistic. The follow up with the staff that performs the "fittings" of the new glasses were a little disorganized. There are many people in the office and you rarely speak to the same person twice which causes a lot of repetition of information. This was really the only downside to the visit.

The main reason I see Dr. Pruittt is because she takes our insurance. They have a very friendly staff. They also provide very thorough and professional examinations. They have a wonderful glasses fitting area, and a large selection of frames.

Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
is extremely personable. About five years ago, he saw me post op through corrective eye surgery, and he was patient and listened to my questions carefully. My husband sees him as well and is quite pleased with his services. HIghly recommend.

The first time I went to
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
I had a really expensive pair of
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
sunglasses that I lost a screw out of and needed replaced. I contacted
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and they wanted me to send them the glasses to be fixed then determine the charge after. I didn't feel comfortable doing this since I needed to know the price to fix them up front. I took them to
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and they cleaned them for me and a very nice employee tried several screws to see if she could fix it. We couldn't find an exact match but the screw worked. I was so surprised that she didn't even charge me. It was a great experience. Based on my initial experience I went back for an eye exam and then purchased a pair of eyeglasses from them. The process was smooth and I would recommend them. They have a great selection to choose from and they staff is really helpful and friendly. They didn't take my insurance but offered me a 20% discount. I turned in this claim to my insurance and got a large portion of my money refunded back to me based on my allowance for frames and eye exams.

Everything from the initial consultation to the final results went very well. I am thrilled with the results and now have 20/15 vision in both eyes (I was an ideal candidate with a prescription at -2.50). I'm seeing better than I ever have and don't have to mess with contacts or have allergies torment my contact lenses every spring. My wife is probably going to visit them before its all said and done.
My only negatives are pretty minor, but I feel like I should mention them. While everyone there is nice, it felt pretty forced. You can tell that everyone there is interested in selling you their service, which some people may not mind. I found it slightly uncomfortable. Also, I was told a by two different people the wrong way to use the post-procedure antibiotic eye drops. If I hadn't confirmed it with the main doctor, I might not have used them as often as I should have.
Overall I am satisfied and would do it again. If you were ever tempted by the notion of losing your glasses or contacts, you will not regret making the move and
Indianapolis Optometrists Provider Name Locked
will help you make it happen.
