I was very pleased with Dr.
and the care that I received. He had experience treating this problem in other pregnant women which was very reassuring to me. I have had a long history of migraines and had seen other neurologists for them in the past, so I didn't need as much of a work-up or history to evaluate and treat what was going on with me. He worked with my OB to develop a plan that would be safe and effective during my pregnancy. He even went out during my initial office visit and phoned the OB's office to discuss his recommendations and treatment plan with her right then and there to ensure that it was satisfactory for everyone. I don't know that most doctors would have taken the time to do that, let alone while I was in the office. I was very pleased to leave my first appointment with a plan completely set and ok'd by everyone involved in my care. I saw him several times for the remainder of the pregnancy and even after delivery to ensure that I was still doing well. I would definitely return to this doctor when/if needed. It was a busy office the days that I was there, but I felt that I was seen promptly. The office wasn't the most modern or luxurious compared to other physicians I have seen, but that wasn't why I was there and hope that most patients will also realize that it is the care you receive that is the most important.

I've been seeing him since April. He is pretty popular so when I call to make an appointment, it may be six weeks out. If it was an emergency or something urgent I could get in sooner or see one of the other doctors. I was in the hospital for a mild stroke and I felt the reaction and care was quick. It was good and he was well experienced. He is awfully busy so it would be nice to have a little more time on the explanations. I am very happy but there is always room for improvement.

.I have no problems with anything. The office is great and the staff is great. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything and answers any questions I have. It is difficult to get an appointment quickly unless you have an emergency.

She has basically saved my life. I was hit by a car 5 years ago while stopped in traffic and I developed the disorder of dystonia. At first it was very difficult to diagnose. Through her diligence and continued testing on me, she was able to conclude I had dystonia. She was able to combine the right medications together to stop the seizures. No other doctor was able to do this. I had broken teeth and ribs from my seizures. She is phenomenal. The combination of the right medications with the right dosage is how she keeps things to work at the right times to keep the seizures under control. If it wasn’t for her, I would not be here right now. I was misdiagnosed with myasthenia

My grandmother received the worst treatment from Dr. Gianaris. He was rude, insensitive and dismissive. His poor bedside manner was only surpassed by his extraordinary arrogance. He walked into my grandmother's hospital room (having never seen her before) when my grandmother was sleeping and informed us that she would never be admitted to a rehab facility because she was incapable. He made this judgement while she was sleeping and without any regard for what her family was trying to tell him. This doctor essentially dismissed my grandmother's case altogether. He showed up the next day, would not make eye contact with her family and was confused about whether she had an upright X-

I do want to point out that the other doctors, nurses and staff at St.

I saw this doctor, and several others in the JWM group, between 2 office visits, and a hospitalization at Community East. since May of 2011. I have neuropathy, and diabetes, and low back pain. Various and conflicting information was thrown at me from every doctor, and even though they all work in the same group,I do not feel they communicate with each other. They wanted to blame my diabetes for the nerve issues, even though the diabetic doctor does not feel that it would be causing this. I am a veterinary technician and understand medical and anatomical terms, but was treated as an annoyance instead of an empowered patient. Asking questions and telling them my symptoms were treated as if I was lying or I was ignored.
I was seeing her for the numbness issues and tests and treatment were ordered and I followed. I began taking a epilepsy drug, gabapentin, which did not help, but I took and still take as ordered. I woke up the morning of 6/23/11 unable to walk. I was belittled by doctors in the hospital and told that my test results did not match my symptoms, so I was not given medication that has helped in the past. I wanted steriods, not narcotics. I understand the risks of steriods in a diabetic, but have had it in the past and worked very closely with my endocrinologist to alleviate the high glucose it causes. But it helped my back. All they wanted was to push Tylenol 3 on me, even though I said it was not helping, and that is does nothing for nerve pain. I was told several treatment options/tests and wanted to do any and all that would help me, but that they would not be done until I was released, and followed up with Dr.

. I was sent home with a powerful muscle relaxer. I called Dr

's office when I was home, and wanted to get in do that I could have her authorize the other MRI I needed, my physical therapy, and the epidural steroid shot that they decided it was ok for me to get after I asked. I was yelled at by her receptionists and told that I could not get in for 3 weeks. I told them that I am extremely painful and off work and that 3 weeks would not be an option. They then got me in the next day to see Dr.

. She agreed to the treatment plan, and we got things scheduled. I then received a certified letter in the mail 7/6/11 that stated that after 30 days I would have to seek treatment with another Neurology group, in effect I was fired from seeing the 30+ doctors in this group. There is only one other doctor that my insurance allows me to see with their plan, so this is incredibly inconveniencing. I called and spoke with a nurse, who told me that I was not allowed to be a patient because I asked to have my appointment moved up, and that because my mother left a very firm, but respectable, voice mail for them while I was in the hospital. So they gave me my records. In them, I find whole sequences of events moved around to cover their tracks, entire conversations made up, and symptoms missing or altered. They have that I was supposed to receive these treatments in the hospital but that I refused them and wanted to go home. That is a complete falsehood. I am extremely disheartened by this entire experience. I feel that Dr.

I have been to see him in

and Noblesville, not Indianapolis. He came to visit me when I has been in the hospital for quite awhile before they determined what was wrong with me. He came in and was there for a couple hours, diagnosed what I had, treated me for it, and I went home. I think he is great. When he came to see me in the hospitality it was like 9 o'clock at night, which I thought was really unusual for a doctor to be out that late to see patients, so that impressed me to start off with. Like I say, by the next morning, he had me diagnosed and on treatment and I was out of the hospital within 3 or 4 days. My only contact with his staff is calling and making an appointment and signing-in when I get there. The lady that I have talked to twice has been friendly and nice. I will continue to use him, but hopefully I won't have to. He hasn't released me yet, he wants to see me one more time, but I think after that I will be released.
