The first appointmen he changed the exhaust system from manifold on down. After changing the muffler three times he told me that eventurally the load (trombone like noise) would go away as the system rusts up. Two months later I could not stand it anymore and bought it back. He then realized after replacing a fourth muffler that it was not the muffler but a faulty ressonator pipe that he put in. I would of thought he would of checked it after the third bad muffler. I've had my car to my dealership's shop, they said the pipe put on hangs low. Both appointments cost me two days. I'm sure
is good but I feel he dropped the ball on me.

Estimate when I took it in was for more than the actual cost. they kept the vehicle for several days, as was expected. Repair was completed in a timely manner.

Yeah, I drive an old car. This is the second time I've had the exhaust replaced at

's. It's first come, first serve. I arrived at their opening time of 8 am, along with a few others and ended up fourth in line. It took them about 30 minutes to look at my car and 45 minutes to do the work. They charged $260, which seems in line with what I expected. My only complaint is that they had me pay the bill and they pulled my car in front soon after, but left my keys dangling on the board behind the counter, which was unmanned. I wish they had alerted me that it was ready since I was waiting to return to work. Also, it's a bit smoky in the waiting area. However, my car sounds great now and this was a relatively painless experience.

My husband and I took in my '97 Honda Accord for a noisy exhaust system and brakes. The technichian determined the exhaust system had no leaks and needed no repair. I trust his opinion because the system had been

than I thought it should be since another company installed it. I couldn't say the noise level had significantly increased since that installation.

offered to replace the muffler if I was determined to have it done, but they were clear to say they couldn't guarantee that it would be a noticeable improvement. I chose not to have it replaced. Regarding the brakes, the technician could find nothing wrong. I left without having any service, but right away I noticed a new noise. It sounded like a rattle. My husband and I returned to the

immediately, and the technichian rode in the car with my husband with windows down and away from the noise of heavy traffic. He was in agreement that there was a noise. He told my husband he thought the noise was due to rust on the brake drum. He removed wheel and drum on the right rear and removed some of the rust from the drum with his wire wheel. He replaced the drum and turned it so my husband could hear the diminished noise. My husband told the technichian he thought it would be helpful for me to see and hear, also. The technichian invited me into the bay and showed and explained the same to me. Because the noise was like the "rattle" I thought I had been hearing but significantly less loud, I trusted his opinion that no further work needed to be done. The technichian explained that the noise would probably diminish even more as the rust wore off. (My husband drove the car home and no longer heard the noise.) My husband and I offered to pay for the second look, but we were politely sent on our way without a charge. We will return to the

at Stop 11 and US 31 South for our future service needs. They could have advised us to have unnecessary work done, but they did not. My husband wasn't sure we really needed any service, in the first place, but I had concerns. The staff at

put my mind at ease and probably saved me a bundle.

asked me several questions over the phone, stopped by my apartment and picked my vehicle up. He called my 1 hour later to tell me that it was indeed my battery and that he did a thorough inspection of my car and found that I need to have a gasket changed ($100 for the battery and $25 for picking it up and the inspection...not bad). He quoted me a price on the additional repair. I will be taking my vehicle in next week to have the additional work done.

Since my car is about 8 years old, there have been a few items which need replacing, one being the muffler hanger. While it was not touching the ground, I knew it could possibly fall completely off if I did not take care of it. I did not make an appointment, just stopped in one morning and it took about 45 minutes to complete the work. They did an estimate and provided me with the pricing and I went ahead with it. It seemed a bit pricey, but it was necessary. I did not do any price shopping either so I cannot comment on that portion of the report card. Friendly technician and just read magazines while I waited.

I had my muffler replaced by
Indianapolis Auto Muffler Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
's 2 years ago on recommedation by my car dealer because the cost would be unreasonable at dealer prices. They did a good job at a reasonable price. It became apparent recently that there was a problem with this muffler. Since my muffler had a lifetime warranty, I went back to

's. They replaced the muffler without a question. The muffler was at no charge; I paid only for labor.

The work that was completed was fine. The problem exists with their communication and punctuality. They had this vehicle in the shop for close to a month between both visits. The first visit, they had the vehicle close to three weeks. During this time, we had to call them each time we wanted a status update on it. This got frustrating considering the woman told us we'd receive a call back on it by the end of the FIRST week they had it. When we finally brought the vehicle home, it wouldn't start when we tried to drive it. So, we called them back and asked them to take another look at it since we had asked them to make sure it was in good working order. The woman informed us it would be a few days and they would let us know. After a week of not hearing from them, we called back only to be told they didn't know how to fix the problem and asked to keep the vehicle longer. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. I understand diagnostics and repairs can take time, but at least call and let us know what's going on instead of leaving us in the dark for multiple weeks only to say "We don't know what's wrong with it." On a side note, the lady that answered the phone was very defensive and rude when we inquired as to why we were constantly having to call and check on the vehicle. She's very unprofessional and should not talk to her customers that way. We were not even being angry or rude with her. The mechanic seems knowledgeable, but he needs to teach his secretary how to act and the shop needs to communicate better with their clients, especially when they can't properly diagnose a vehicle. I understand repairs can take time, but after a month of waiting, it becomes ridiculous. Needless to say, I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere. The lady was very offended and rude when we told her this. We were not rude or angry about it at all and she snapped to the defensive when we said we were going to come get the vehicle. Incredibly unprofessional and uncalled for in my opinion. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

My exhaust was making a loud noise and I took my car in and told them I needed a new exhaust system. How shocked I was when they called and told me that they could repair a piece of the exhaust for $60 and it would be good for a couple more years. This is customary for them - they don't overcharge or give you repairs you don't need, even if you OFFER to pay for them! I have taken my cars to Sincere since we moved to Indy in 2006, and they are always, always totally honest and have never tried to overcharge. I trust whatever they say - even if it's a larger repair. And to boot, they do a good job every time. I can't say enough about this rarity in the car repair world - an honest mechanic.

I dropped the car off the night before and arrived at opening to talk to the staff because they don't have a key drop. The employees arrived after 8am and there were already 4 people ahead of me. They called me with an estimate that was lower than the other two I had already obtained, and completed the work within hours.
