"They were great. It was a very nice salon. The pedicure is to die for. Most of the nail salons are run by people who don't speak English well, they are from other countries and I dislike it very much when they talk their language among themselves, I find that to be terribly rude. The owner was a man and a woman and I think are Filipinos and they speak English. Sometimes they'll get on the telephone with someone and they'll speak their native language, but in the shop with the customers, it's all English, which I like."

is very attentive and very careful about making sure that anything that touched my skin was clean and sterile. She does a wonderful job of trimming toenails, and not disturbing live tissue (i.e., I felt no pain -- I've had pedicures in the past that were painful). She did a really lovely job polishing/finishing my toenails -- my feet/toes look better than they ever have!"

"Their prices are good. I can make appointments.

does my nails exactly the way that I like them. I like them rounded and most people want them squared. They are clean. They wash things in between clients. Their massage chair is heaven. They massage your legs while you are getting a pedicure. They also massage your lower arms when you are getting a manicure."

"I called ahead of time to check availability. The gentleman on the phone gave a solid estimate of availability. When I arrived, they were able to seat me immediately. They had an excellent selection of nail colors (including the new Holland OPI colors--my current faves). The man who did my pedicure was so warm and personable. Have you ever spent most of your nail salon experience staring at the wall, the tv, or a magazine awkwardly while the professional goes to work? Not this time! He talked me, joked with me, and really made me feel comfortable and welcomed. It seemed like everyone really liked each other, and the other guests seemed to be having a nice time, as well. This was an occasion where I actually wanted to give a tip--not out of guilty obligation--but because I felt like LT Nails (formerly

"I warn you to stay away from this place! I have been there a few times. Every time the place was dirty with old bits of fingernails laying on the tables and floors, along with general dust and dirt. The last time I was went in, there were only two people working. After waiting approximately 10 minutes, three people walked in the door and were placed in front of me in line. After another 5 minutes I was informed it was going to be 45 minutes before I could have services performed. No explanation, just "sorry".I have always been uneasy about the general cleanliness of the environment but overlooked it because the price fit into my budget. But NO MORE!"

"My wife had had not been that impressed with some of the other nail salons she had been going to so on advice from a friend she tried T.E.N and was very happy with the manicure & polish & had several compliments about it. I've only had 1 pedicure in my life but knew my feet could use a professional touch ( like most men) so I told her to make me an appointment for a pedicure.

I showed up a few minutes early &

greeted me promptly and asked me how hot I liked the water. She called me back after a few minutes and went to work. I have to say it felt really good & she did a great job. She explained what she was doing and letting me know where she saw issues. In the meantime since she was the only one there she was also taking calls and assisting some regulars. Didn't take very much time away from me & was very personable. I was in there for about an hour & I think it was time and money well spent. I was charged $35 and tipped $10 for a total of $45. I did enjoy every other wonman who was there saying that they wished more men would get their feet done.

As a note they are no longer on the address listed on Angie's List but are now at 210 S.

"I actually didn't really care for the service. I felt that my manicure was lacking in detail. My cuticles weren't taken care of. The sides of my nails weren't painted."

is the lady that did my nails and eyebrows. She paid very good attention to detail and took great care in getting it done correctly. It has now been over 2 weeks and my nails still look great. My Shellac is still good until probably Friday and French pedicure still looks new. It was my first time getting a pedicure and manicure here and I had a great experience. When it came time to do my eyebrows afterwards, I was able to relax in a very comfortable chair as she did my brows...It wasn't just a regular chair. They offered very good service for my boyfriend's mom and sister. They both received fill-ins and pedicures also. I was even able to buy a new polish because they had it in stock. It is a great family-owned vacation."

"We arrived on time and didn't have much wait for our appointments. I was taken to the pedicure area and shown how to operate the massage chair and instructed to soak my feet in the warm whirlpool footbath. Plenty of up to date magazines to look at while I waited and a television to watch too. Would have been nice to have captioning on as it was impossible to hear the TV from the distance. The young woman was professional and didn't try to engage me in conversation, which I appreciated. She did a good job and it was a relaxing experience."

"Not my favorite place. I've not had a manicure before this and will definitely choose better next time. I chose this location because it was recommended (by virtue of the price) by a friend of my teen. They take walk-ins and were somewhat busy. No front desk person. When I walk in, a man giving someone a manicure looks up and

: "What do you want?" I tell him and he says it'll be 15 minutes. I go sit down and a woman giving a pedicure yells something incomprehensible to me. I ask her to repeat and I still can't understand it: peekaro? I ask her again and still no luck. A woman getting a manicure tells me that the employee is telling me to pick out a color. (Nail polish, I assume, from the display of polishes on the wall.) I pick a color and wait for my turn. About 5 minutes later, a woman giving a pedicure hollers to get my attention. When I make eye contact, she points her chin to what appears to be the manicure table behind her. No one is at the table, but I think that's where I'm supposed to be. I pick up the color I've selected and sit. Someone comes by and puts out some supplies. A few minutes later the man who shouted at me when I walked in sits down. He puts some oil on my nails, then pushes my cuticles back slightly while massaging the oil in. He then slathers lotion on my hands and massages them quickly. No verbal communication thus far. Out comes a cuticle clipper and away go my cuticles. He quickly wipes the clipper off with a tissue and puts it back under the table. For the next unsuspecting victim, I expect. A quick brush across with a file and my nails attain some not so beautiful shape: some are somewhat square at the top, others are rounded, one is a bit pointed. I don't have much to work with, but I expected them to look better than what I do on my own. The file has been used before and not cleaned--I see

on it. He tells me that I can't use the nail polish I've picked out because it will chip because my nails are so thin. I agree to a strengthener, which he puts on quickly (one very quick dash across each nail, not even covering the width of the nails). He turns on a small battery-powered fan to my left and tells me 30 seconds and walks away. He comes back and seems annoyed that I've not put my nails in front of the fan. I'm left there expecting him to come back and put on a second coat. Or the color. Or just check them to make sure they're OK. Or something. About 10 minutes later I'm still sitting there with the fan on my nails and a woman comes by and says "$15." I write a check and figure I'm done. I sit and wait for my daughter to finish. While I wait, a mother looks at her daughter's nails and comments negatively on the finish of the polish. Though her daughter had a base coat and two coats, mom has the attendant put another coat on. Another woman is communicating that her nails don't have the same shape and insists that they be done again. Silly me. I figured that a professional salon would be able to do that without each person having to complain. So those customers are probably satisfied while I'm not.
