Remodeling Reviews in Indianapolis

We are delighted with our new master bathroom.
and his team were a pleasure to have in the house and at all times we felt very comfortable. Their meticulous attention to detail and to making sure that we were involved in every decision made the wait worthwhile. This was the first time we had embarked on such a large project and
was always available to discuss any changes/give us advice and guide us to ending up with a superb product! We have had several different companies work on our houses over the years, but we have never been as pleased as we are with this project. We really feel that
and his team went out of their way to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. Actually, we are so thrilled at the outcome, we're thinking of redoing our guest bathroom!

There were flags from the start, but unfortunately we didn’t notice them until they were in our review mirror. Last winter,
, one of
’s owners approached us at the
Home Show. She was pretty aggressive about how good they were and how bad EVERYONE else was. She offered us a $50 off coupon if we booked their service in the next few weeks. That hard sell should have made us wary, but we weren’t.
February 2014.
came to our house to look at the work needed to be done and provide an estimate. She said the work would take “1day, 2 days
.” She said they were bonded and insured and that they will leave our house just like they find it only better. She told us multiple times that they are proud to say they work with their customers to make sure they are 100% satisfied. We believed her - she sold us - and we set up a date for the work. She “forgot” about the $50 discount, but added it to the estimate. Another flag we missed.
June 30, 2014. Day one of the 2 day “
” job. My husband had received a call the day before the appointment to say their truck was in the shop, they might be a little late. He asked them if they wanted to reschedule. They said “oh no, we can make it work.” They arrived about 9:00 AM and he let them in. That afternoon, he got a call saying they weren’t going to be able to finish and would need to come back tomorrow to finish the job, they’d let themselves out.
1, 2014. Day two of the 2 day “
” job. My husband got a call saying that they were running late, and asked if he would he just leave the front door unlocked. He got another call that afternoon reporting that they still hadn’t finished, could he leave the door unlocked the next morning so they could finish up. I stopped by the empty house after work to check on their progress and found a football-sized spot of bare floor where something had obviously spilled, eaten through the finish on the wood floor, and then been wiped up.
2, 2014. Day three of the 2 day “
” job. I arrived mid afternoon and one of the technicians was “wrapping up.” That included spraying the tub and tile, caulking, and putting the fixtures back up. I mentioned the spot on the floor and the technician said he didn’t know what had happened, but I could call the owner. The owner,
, said that they just didn’t use any products that would cause damage like that. I told him that obviously they did because the floor had was not damaged before they got there and it was damaged after they did their work and they had been the only ones in the house in the meantime. I said that I wanted him to take responsibility for the cost of fixing the floor and I would need to either take a couple of hundred dollars off the bill or wait to pay them until I got a repair quote. He said that wouldn’t work because he “just didn’t have anything that would have done that” and he “had to make payroll” so he couldn’t wait for his money and he wanted it all. I told him I would pay him, but he didn’t have a satisfied customer and it didn’t have to be this hard to have the satisfied customer his wife said they wanted. I told him that we would have to report him to Angie’s List, Better Business Bureau, and to
’s corporate office. He said the he’d “talk to his guys, but they just didn’t have anything that would do that.”
Three hours later, the technician was finished. I asked him about some spots where the finish didn’t look like it covered well. He said it takes some time to cure. Give them a call and let them know if we see anything after a couple of days, “satisfaction guaranteed”.
3 – 9, 2014. There was a long series of messages for and phone calls with
. I told him I got a quote from Mr. Sandless to fix the damage to the floor for $149.00 and asked him to come out and look at the floor on Friday the 11th before Mr. Sandless arrived to fix the damage. He said “of course, we want you to be satisfied.”
11, 2014. Day four of the 2 day “
” job. My husband met
could inspect the damage to the floor and to show him the spots on the tile that didn’t get covered.
took a picture of the damage and said he’d talk to his guys. He said that the spots on the tile that didn’t’ cover needed some time to cure, give them a call if they’re not cured by Monday.” This was 10 days after the material had been applied…long curing process!
14-17, 2014. Another series of messages left for and phone calls with
. I told him the spots hadn’t “cured” and were still there so I needed someone to come out and fix them by the end of the week. He said “he understood, but they couldn’t get anyone lined up.” He went on to say they were “juggling a lot on their end and had a guy quit.” I told him I was juggling work and we were going on three weeks to get this two day
job done. I needed the tile fixed by Friday. I also asked him about the floor. Again. He said he’d “talk to his guys.” Again. I told him that Mr. Sandless only charged the minimum service charge and the total was only going to be $75.00. He said that was good news and that maybe he could “pitch-in.”
17, 2014.
called to say that she was able to make it work and would have someone at our house the next morning at 8:00 to airbrush the tile. I said I would take the day off and be there.
18, 2014. Day five of the 2 day “
” job. The technician came and fixed almost all of the bare spots. When I pointed out a couple he missed, he said that it “probably needed a couple of days to cure.” I told him that I would not be able to take any more sick days and that he had to finish up right then. He did. He was very polite and professional despite the fact that he recited the company lines.
22, 2014. My husband called
to ask about paying for the damage to the floor.
said he wanted us to be satisfied customers so he’d pay half. Half! The guy was holding out over $37.50 on a $1200 job. My husband asked if that was the best he could do.
said yes. My husband told him not to bother.
said “OK.” My husband hung up.
For 23 days (from June 30 –
22, 2014) we have spent $1300 and hundreds of hours on what was supposed to be a $1225/48 hour job. This is absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced from a home improvement company.

provided an estimate in advance of doing the work. He was very flexible with scheduling, and always texted or called a day in advance as a reminder and also when he was on his way. Arrived promptly, did great quality work, and cleaned up when he was done. I will continue to use
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's services in the future and have already referred him to friends.

This is the 2nd project we contracted
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's team within a year. Even though it is a relatively small project, they put all efforts into it, ensuring all the details are taken care of. We encountered a couple snags, such as 50-yrs old wallpaper was extremely difficult to remove; shower valve had a slight defect, etc.

Everything went very smoothly. Mr.
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and Ms.
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
were very professional and helpful. Though no fault of theirs, we were extremely new to the process and were kind of overwhelmed by the choices. All things being equal, their estimate was very similar to the other three we received. It was a difficult decision but we decided to go with a different company.

We have used
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for no less than 4 major projects. for two different houses they replaced two roofs, remodeled a kitchen and built a Sunroom.
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is awesome and very detailed in his work. Would use them again in a heart beat!!

They were prompt contacting us after the purchase. He met us at our house and was on time. He took measurements and explained the process. About a week later, we met in their show room and he went through the plans. It was nice seeing pictures of other remodels. His plan was quite detailed. After receiving other quotations, we went with another contractor based on their plans and price.

Our entire remodle project was a totall disaster until we got
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
involved. We had been working with a contractor for months and pretty much got nothing but your standard cookie cutter ideas and designs. They really had no interset in helping us get what we wanted, just what was easiset for them. So after a couple of months of dealing with a contractor, we fired them and hired
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to take on our project. Even though
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
sevices are centered around kitchen cabinetry and design, they are the reason our kitchen was fully completed. They put us in touch with businesses that share the same focus of quality, customer service oriented practices. If not for
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
we would still be floundering around trying to get our kitchen in order and it would it not have looked even half as good as it looks now, It looks better than we had imagined in our minds. THey defiinitley know what thye are doing and how to maximize your kitchen. At a minumum I recommend calling them and having them look at any new kitchen projects you may be considering taking on.

was great to work with. I have an older home in the Broad Ripple area that needed a complete update. He removed a bulk head, completely redid the tile (including removing and replacing backer board, etc), retiled flooring, rewired exhaust fan, installed vanity and lighting. Excellent craftsman ship and extremely satisfied with the service I received at what I think was a reasonable cost for the work performed. I can go as far as to say I have already spoken with him about another job I would like completed. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

We bought a home to rennovate and needed a good contractor to help with the major projects.
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was great from the start. I had 2 companies provide estimates but it was
Indianapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's knowledge and manner that lead me to work with him. He was patient until we were ready to start and kept in contact. From the first day until the last he kept us informed. We made a few changes along the way and he was flexible. He kept the project within budget and on time. Each of the workers were friendly and professional. I had a problem with the lighting switch in the kitchen after the project was finished, but they came right back within a few days and fixed it. I would not hesitate to use them again. They will be my first call on any future projects.
