"I purchased a heater from them for my bedroom and it didn't turn on. I returned it to him and I wanted an in-store credit. He told me that he can't give the credit but he can replace the heater. The one he replaced it with had the packaging all torn up and had been taped together and it was the last one he had. When I got it home I couldn't get it to turn on either."

"We called the day before our deck project to make sure that we could reserve the nail gun. The person on the phone said that they didn't take reservations, but they were sure it would be there if we came in the morning. My husband showed up first thing the next morning (while everyone we had helping us waited at home) to rent the gun. It was on the ...more shelf like the employee had promised. When he tried to rent it, the employee said that they couldn't rent it right now due to their credit card machine being down. He offered to pay in cash, but the employee said we would have to put down a deposit that would cover the entire purchase of the nail gun. My husband said fine, he could do that. Then the employee changed his mind and said he couldn't rent it at all until the credit card machine was back up. The employee was rude and didn't offer any help in finding another rental company in the area. If they would have just taken a reservation the day before with our credit card, we wouldn't have had to waste over an hour

with a down credit card machine. They need to put in a policy for when the credit card machine goes down, so they can still rent to people. We lost over 2 hours of work time, not to mention gas driving all over town to find another rental store."
