Gutter Repairing Reviews in Indianapolis

We have had continual problems with water flow, water in and around our foundation and through the downspouts and didn't really make the connection from the problems to the gutters until we had the house professionally waterproofed earlier this year. We were advised by the waterproofing company, our roofer, our painter, and the person who cleans our gutters that at least one section of the gutter was not properly installed and that the installation may have resulted in the decay of the gutter board and wooden soffits. I attempted to place a service call and was told by
that we were outside the warranty. They refused to come and assess the situation and without even looking at it, absolved themselves of any responsibility whatsoever. In fact, they implied my troubles sounded like the fault of the roofer. I would never use
again not only because they just don't stand behind the product or the workmanship, despite the age on the job, but because even when I practically begged them to come and provide an expert professional assessment, they refused. Not at all what I feel like I should expect in the way of customer service in appreciation for my business.

We had been thinking about replacing our roof, and received a flyer for FNR. They sounded good - local, seemed professional (on paper), so I called for an estimate appointment. I should have known when the person on the phone made an appt for me but then was ready to hang up when I reminded her she had no contact or address information for me . . . . The man who came out and did the estimating was very courteous and seemed to know his stuff. He said we appeared to have storm damage, and that he had checked with his boss re whether there was enough for a claim, and that his boss said to go ahead with it. He gave me a folder with info about the materials FNR used, and a checklist for what to do next. I was asked to contact my insurance re a claim, and he specifically asked me twice to be sure and call the FNR office to tell them when the adjuster appt was, so he could be there. He stated that FNR wanted to be sure that the insurance adjuster understood the things that FNR noted and recommended having repaired/replaced. It all sounded reasonable to me. I got an appt with a State Farm adjuster, and started trying to contact FNR. I called multiple times over three days, and finally ended up leaving a message. I was concerned that at no time during the business day could I get a human answer on either of their numbers. I left a second and final message on their phone on 7/14/14 at 4:30 p.m. At 6:04 p.m. that same day, I got a call from
of FNR. She stated she had the numbers for our repairs, and proceeded to talk about them. I tried several times to tell her that I had been trying to contact them per their instructions with the info about the adjuster appt, and she talked over me several times saying she knew nothing about my messages before stating that I was not the only person who had reported being unable to contact them, and that she would talk to management about it. She again went through what the estimator had said - that they are a local company, they are not storm chasers, and that they are committed to serving the people of Indianapolis. She also stated that she wanted to come for the adjuster appt in addition to the estimator, and that she would see me on 7/21/14 at 2 p.m. at our home. On 7/21/14, our State Farm adjuster arrived, waited 15 minutes for an FNR representative to show up, then proceeded to do his evaluation. There was no contact from FNR, and as yet has been none. No one from FNR ever showed up. In addition, the adjustor said that our house roof was in excellent shape. I called FNR and left a message that under the circumstances, we were not interested in working with them. I understood when I contacted them originally that although they were on Angie's List, they were as yet unrated (which was weird, since they show as having been on the List since 2012 . . .). My husband and I very much support local companies, but we aren't ignorant - FNR talks a good line but obviously doesn't want my business enough to follow through on their promises. They might be very good at what they do property repair-wise, but their front office support and their follow-through on their promises are non-existent. I would not suggest using them in any way.

They did a fantastic job. Cleaned the gutters prior to installing the gutter guards. There were a few guards that didn't line up, but

didn't have a problem coming back and getting it fixed right. The gutter guards look great.

During the first week of June, I called
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
for estimates on my house and garage.

Willing came out the next day and was able to calculate the cost right there and then.
The estimate seemed very realistic, but as fate would have it, I had just learned that I have a very serious health concern and suddenly several home improvements would have to be reevaluated. It seemed best to share this reason for my indecision in response to a good estimate.
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
showed great compassion about my concerns and the dilemma I faced, and he suggested that I not try to make important decisions at that time.
A broken piece of guttering needed fixed as soon as possible and
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
said he could repair it very quickly and that it would hold for a long time. He came back the next day and used new fasteners to hold it securely. He would not accept payment for his time nor for the fasteners. He insisted that I think only about getting well and not think about the house at this time.
After several tests and advice from some leading doctors I can hope to get well and I look forward to some home improvements and some new gutters. I think

would be a good company to do business with.

This company did an amazing job. As soon as I contacted them via e mail they called me back.

their outstanding customer repsentative told me he will come and give me an estimate for new gutters and soffit. A few days later he left the estimate and come upon my request to discuss the job. The project was done the next week. The workers were craftemen in their field. They were professional too - when unexpected issues arose, they knew what to do and didn't put it in our laps. They did an incredible job! Our house looks like new. This company has an outstanding costumer service and they know their business. By far the best home improvement experience we had in years! We'll feel very lucky to have found them.

Despite of some communication problems at the beginning with getting the job estimate and initiating the job, the job was well done.

Where do I begin? This has become a complicated situation and a huge inconvenience. My experience with
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
could not be more disastrous. This is the first time that I have been duped by an overall positive Angie’s List rating. I am restoring a house in Fountain Square, and had contacted
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
to obtain a quote for door and window installation, roof work, siding and gutter repair. A quote was sent on April 10th. My first clue should have been the quote which had incorrect and missing information. It stated that the front exterior door would be replaced, when I had specified the back exterior door. It didn’t include both windows that I needed to have replaced. Overall, it lacked detail. I was assured that the price quoted did include all of the
components I asked about. The company required 50% deposit upfront, as well as a signed acceptance form confirming that I would be “added on their schedule” for sometime in 2014. I called to ask if I could be ensured that the work would take place in a timely manner upon signing the agreement, and was assured that yes, they could schedule me within a month. I signed the agreement and provided a credit card, which they charged that day (April 21). One month later on May 20, I received an email stating that they had forgotten to have me sign a contract and that it was attached. I opened the contract, and it stated that work would commence on June 25th, over two months after I signed the agreement and paid 50%, and after they had originally committed to scheduling me within a month of charging my credit card. After having expressed my desire for the work to begin earlier, I was told that they would have to check and get back to me. Then, I began noticing roof and siding work being completed the week of May 26. They sided over both windows in the bathroom that they were to replace! This was after I had met with various contractors on 4 separate occasions (for different jobs – siding, windows, doors) to go over repairs, specifics and let them take measurements. As soon as I noticed this error, I called them and left a message since it was after hours. 24 hours later, I had not heard back – no acknowledgment of the mistake, no commitment to make it right, so I called again and left another message.

The glass block window install was scheduled at the beginning of this week for today, June 13th. I was to meet the contractor at 9 am this morning and it would be finished in about an hour. Fountain Square is an urban neighborhood just on the outskirts of downtown Indianapolis. Houses are close together, there is street parking only on one side of the street, and many homes have garages with

access. (It’s not the suburbs so there’s limited parking!) I arrived around 8:45 and drove past a very disgruntled looking man parked a couple of houses down,

a full-sized window on the street toward my house. I stopped, rolled down my window and asked if he was with

. He grumbled that he was, and exclaimed “There’s nowhere to park in front of your house!” I suggested that he park on the other side of the street, right in front of the house, temporarily just to unload. He repeated “there’s nowhere to park!” I replied that I was just trying to help and drove off to park. When I walked up to the house, he still seemed angry about the parking situation. I was a little stunned – had he never parked downtown or unloaded materials in any other setting besides suburban where he could park in someone’s driveway? I suggested, again, that he park in front of my house on the other side of the street and put his hazard lights on. He finally agreed and moved his truck. He began unloading the doors and the larger replacement window, and throwing pieces of lumber from his pickup truck into my yard. I asked him how long he would be working and he said all day, very different from what I had planned for. I said that I was told that only the glass block window was being installed today. He said yes, but someone else was installing it. When the “someone else,” who appeared to be another third party contractor arrived, I showed them where the glass block window was to be installed. He looked confused and said that they were under the impression that they were installing two glass block basement windows and that they had the wrong size and wouldn’t be able to install today. On top of that, the door for the storage closet off the rear of the house was ordered incorrectly and swung the wrong way. Again, this was after I had met with JD

contractors on 4 separate occasions to go over repairs, specifics and let them take measurements. My contact at
Indianapolis Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
called me at 9:15, 30 minutes AFTER the disgruntled window and door installer drove up to my house, to tell me that she meant to call me yesterday to ask if it was ok if the other window and doors were installed today. The installer will be at my house all day today, and I had to be at work so I ended up leaving him a key. I hope and pray that at the very least he is able to follow my instructions and call me and lock the front door when he leaves. But so far, their track record would indicate otherwise.
This service provider appears to outsource many jobs to other contractors and outside parties. The overriding issue is the blatant lack of communication and coordination between parties and with the customer.
- Katelin R.

All went well. They worked with the insurance adjusters for each location and made sure that all damage was covered and received agreed pricing from the company. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and completed on time. Any issues that came up were handled immediately and professionally.
I would recommend this company to anyone.
