I had surgery last year, and Dr.
did an excellent job. She is very organized and the staff did what they said they were going to do. Hopefully, I won't need her again, but if I do, I'll certainly turn to her.

She knows the body and anatomy very well. She always takes time with me, and she has even come in to see me when she was off duty, when I was in the hospital. The office staff is very welcoming and concerned as well. If she is the one performing my surgery, I'm never worried about the procedure.

He was the kindest doctor. He said it was really hard to have only one side out. He gave my Demerol, which had a weird reaction to the anesthesia I had in surgery. Dr.

and another doctor ran to my side and stood with me and talked to me until and ambulance could come to take me to the hospital. The place I was at was a hospital, but not equipped for emergencies. They would not leave my side. They were the most gentle souls. they didn't just leave me, but stayed with me. They were the greatest doctors in the world. Dr.

has offices in Greenwood, Noblesville, Carmel, and Indianapolis. Most of his surgeries are at the Beltway Surgery Center. He explained everything to me and made me feel relieved when my

came back just fine. Also he gave me more antibiotics because he wanted to be absolutely sure. The staff is very friendly, and they told me ahead of time that it was harder on adults, which was true. When i was having trouble breathing at the surgery center the one nurse was rubbing my feet to relax me, and Dr.

and the anesthesiologist were comforting me while talking to me.

Diagnosed need for surgery at office visit. Arrived at surgery center at 10 a.m. for surgery at 11 a.m. Surgery about 60 minutes, then left for home at 3 p.m. Three entry holes were used to repair the rightside hernia, check the left side and to check the visible colon and appendix. (All were ok.) The mesh was inserted, attached, then the the site closed. I was released on 12/22/09. The surgery was a "non-event." Little pain was evident and I was able to sleep on my side after about three nights. I will be restricted to lifting no more than 15 lbs. until mid-January. My medicine caused discomfort. I was given vicodin upon leaving the center and it came up within a few minutes after leaving. An antibiotic to prevent infection also caused nausea. After conferring with Dr.

, I switched to ibuprofen and he prescribed an anti-nausea medicine that I took in conjuction with the antibiotic. I took the prescriptions for a week and by that time my stomach had settled down. Dr.

was thorough in his examinations, explained in detail all facets, and answered all questions. I left a call for him on the following Saturday with the answering service and he returned my call within a few minutes. I also appreciated his checking for other possible problems while doing the surgery.

He was in a very bad frame of mind when he came into the operating room. I should have canceled the surgery due to his attitude, but I didn't. I had a by-pass operation that didn't cause me as much trouble as this cyst removal. I didn't know what to expect, as he told me virtually nothing about the aftercare, other than mentioning on his way out the door that I should take a Tylenol for pain. I was unable to ask him any questions, and he told me over his shoulder that he would send the cyst to a lab, without giving me any idea of what I could expect in terms of pain, swelling, and aftercare. Five weeks after the procedure, I still had a number of lumps, with no way of knowing if this was normal. Now, nearly two months later, the lumps have lessened, but I was in the dark as far as what to expect because of the lack of information Dr

provided. It is not nearly as sore now at 2 months as it was at 5 weeks, but I was extremely disappointed with his attitude. I don't want to go back to him; I felt he was unprofessional.

Dr.
Indianapolis General Surgeons Provider Name Locked
is really good. He also was the doctor that diagnosed a tumor for my husband that nobody else had diagnosed. He immediately sent him in for an MRI and was upfront and quick to seek treatment. He refer him out because it was out of his field of expertise.
