"Myonly disappointment is not knowing about his company sooner. We would have done the maintenance on the drive practically and economically over the years. He was prompt, knowlegeable and agreeable in three on-site conversations to satisfy the questions.

"At first conversation, she suggested that we consider the drive repair in sections as it was a big enough that we couldn't afford doing the entire drive. We chose the worst to do first and had two downspout pipes buried under the drive then covered. While we had to work at getting return calls and the depth of the surfacing is higher than expected in some spots, we are pleased with the outcome.

"All three of the driveways were on the same block.

elected to drive their equipment from driveway to driveway (instead of trailering their equipment) and this resulted in a big mess of asphalt and gravel being left on the roads between the three houses. I have left several messages for

(answering service) and have not received a single call in return.

needs to get back out to our neighborhood and clean up the mess they left on our roads.

"The company responded to my first call right away and left an estimate (proposal/agreement). I accepted their proposal and at that time they informed me that it would take up to three months (depending on weather ) to complete the work. I was alright with this.

About three months later they came a day or two before the actual paving and prepared the drive, edged grass, staked off existing driveway where needed. Within two days they leveled driveway, resurfaced with approved hot mix asphalt, hand tamped edges, compacted hot asphalt with power roller, cleaned up the area and roped off the paved area. Workers were efficient and courteous and their work and clean-up was good.

"The owner,

, gave a quote to patch and seal the driveway for $200. He did not offer to fill any cracks. I felt the price was reasonable as the cost of the sealcoat, if I did the job myself, would have been at least $100 (last time I priced it, anyway). He started a little later than he originally said that he would, but completed the job on the day promised. He did not spray the sealcoat on the driveway as his web site indicates, but he said that his equipment was malfunctioning and he had to spread it on manually.

"Overall results were ok, but some of the sealed areas have already sunk into the cracks and the guys that did the work didn't sufficiently clean the driveway beforehand, because I have seen small twigs underneath the asphalt that should have been removed first. It was ok, but not great.

"Prior to providing me a quote, a sales person visited my home to inspect the driveway. He assured me that this was a

paving job. I pointed out problem areas in the driveway, such as low points, crumbling, and uneven surface for the garage door to seal. He again assured me these problems would be easily resolved by his company. Further, he explained that they would ensure a good garage door seal by milling the garage door to driveway transition to achieve a level surface. The company was punctual and applied enough manpower to complete the job. Upon finishing the job, the foreman ask for the remainder of the money. While I provided him with a check, I did ask him to confirm that the transitions (garage door, street, and sidewalk) were done. He indicated that they did not mill those surfaces. I told him about the uneven garage door surface and after closing the garage door, sunlight was coming through both ends of the garage door for 2 feet on either side. He acknowledged the issue and said they would not be able to fix this right then, but if we would choose them to apply a seal coat next spring, he was sure they could handle that problem. He was on his way to another job and could/would not stay any longer to address this concern. Since that time, I have been in contact with the salesman, by phone, and the office staff through emails and phone calls. On six occasions, I was assured they would correct the situation and was given general dates that the repair crew would arrive. So now after two months, several promises of return phone calls, and six instances of setting dates that were broken or ignored the company is unwilling to address what should be a very fixable issues. In addition to the garage door area there are spots with poor adhesion. It was clearly a mistake that I did not demand my check back unless the issues were addressed to my satisfaction.

"I purchased this deal in late September. Per communication on Angies List website, the work was scheduled for October 2. Unfortunately, I had a work conflict arise that prevented me from being home on the 2nd. I sent a message on October 1, again through Angies List website to advise of cancellation and need to re-schedule. To date (10/24/13), I have not had any contact with the vendor. Now it's late October and obviously the requested work that I paid for will not get done. Will I be reimbursed? Is there still a possibility that the work for my driveway will get done this year? Why have I not been contacted? I am highly disappointed in the follow-thru (lack thereof). The only service I have received for $89 of my money is nothing.

"We had learned about this service provider through an Angie's List "Big Deal". For $89, a 600 square foot drive would be sealed. Additional area was charged at $.16 per square foot. Our total area was 1990 Square Feet, so we paid provider at additional $221 for a total of $310.
