They were very thorough, very positive which was important to us. Many of our friends have sent their kids to very critical instructors at other schools. They are now afraid to drive. Our experience was very good, they gave good, constructive criticism that was encouraging to my daughter, and we would use them in the future.

We called
because they were a AAA approved school (they even provide a discount for AAA members) and were able to enroll our son in a class that was beginning that week. He received a very thorough education including 30 hours of classroom training and 6 hours of one on one driving. We were very pleased with how well it went. They have flexible scheduling for busy kids/families.

Received good feedback from other parents whose kids had taken drivers ed here. My daughter was also able to take her driving test here which saved lots of time at the license branch. They honored a coupon even though I didn't have it with me. My daughter is driving safely so far, so they are obviously teaching them the right stuff!

My daughter just finished her classroom instruction and a portion of her driving lessons. The only good thing I can say is the location is convenient for us. My son also attended there and they are just as rude and unprofessional as when he took it. If there were other options close I would never have gone back there.

My daughter took CIESC's driver education course at

Central High School in

/Feb 2006. Due to limited practice, she needed to brush up on her skills. I contacted CIESC's office to schedule 4 private lessons. It took a 2nd call before they had someone contact me, but we have been very pleased with the instructor who did respond,

Dine. She asked many questions before the first lesson even began in order to get an idea of what my daughter did well & what she needed to work on. So far,
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
has taken my daughter out for 3 one hour lessons & the progress has been amazing. My daughter enjoys the one on one instruction & has gained confidence behind the wheel. The last lesson took place during a strong thunderstorm... with hail! The next lesson will cover highway traffic in Indy's northeast quadrant & getting to the malls. You know, the stuff they really NEED to learn! :o) I highly recommend CIESC &

Dine to anyone wanting extra behind the wheel experience.

Small class size, one on one driving experiences. Only two of the students passed the written test at the end of the classroom portion, and the instruction yelled at the kids to the point where my son was really unnerved -- and he had passed. Twice we went for driving and the instructor did not show up. Although they charge $30 if a student doesn't show, there was no reimbursement for us driving there (1/2 hr. Drive) and not being able to drive. I had to call them myself, to find out what happened the second time; they didn't even have the courtesy to call. No communication with parents about driving grades -- you have to ask. When asked about problems our son had, april became very confrontational, argumentative and tried to blame us for the lack of communication. A+ obviously has no interest in helping the student pass, or in customer satisfaction. It's all about money. Definitely would not recommend!

They were able to squeeze our daughter in at the last minute. They were very helpful with any paper work we needed for the license branch. They have nice cars for the driving time. Newer style mustangs!

I used
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
twice. Three years ago with my son and this summer for my daughter. The experiences were completely the opposite. Three years ago the program was outstanding. Today it was a nightmare.

The good part is the driving instructors are mostly the same as before and are fantastic. They did a very good job preparing both of my children. The online course option was also very good. It made learning much more convenient. Without the online option, I doubt my daughter could have fit it in her busy schedule.

Now the bad and I mean REALLY bad. The office is absolutely terrible at communication. But, let me differentiate. We worked with both offices (
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
and Greenwood).
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
occasionally answered the phone. Greenwood NEVER answered the phone and NEVER replied to messages. I cannot imagine a worse customer service experience.
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
was of no help, but they did answer the phone.

The online drive scheduling program is a disaster. You cannot book a new drive until you finish an old drive. OK, no problem. BUT,
there were no open drives in the summer for TWO MONTHS. That means it would have taken until after Christmas before we could get all the required drives in.
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
had more availability than Greenwood, but we live much closer to Greenwood. We had to go to the Greenwood office to speak to someone and even during the supposed office open times, people were rarely there to help.
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
could not book for Greenwood.

The only way we got our drives scheduled was when the drive instructor over rode the system and scheduled drives for us. He could only do this when no one was in the office … which was all the time. Still, we had to go to the office to convince the instructor to help. BTW, the instructors know the office is now a disaster and are doing everything to help out. They are great.

The owner is obviously too cheap to get more cars and more instructors. Plus, too cheap to get proper office help.

Most people I spoke to had the same poor experience, but are afraid to say anything because they have more kids on the way or are still tied in to the company. I have no more kids and my daughter has her license, so I can speak freely. If the BMV regulates these organizations, they should take a good look and see how bad
Indianapolis Driver Education Provider Name Locked
has become. They used to be great, but not any more.
