I contacted
King to get my carpet stretched. The carpet in the hall was badly wrinkled. He worked me in that same day. When
,
and
arrived they immediately started to work. They carefully moved what need to be moved. They did an outstanding job. The wrinkles in the carpet were so bad I was even considering having hard wood floors installed. They removed all the wrinkles, and installed the correct strips for carpeting on a slab.
,
, and
do a great job, are friendly and nice to be around.
referred me to Langenwalter to have my carpet cleaned. They cleaned my carpets today and they look great. Now I have no thoughts of replacing my carpet. They saved me a lot of money. I am very happy with the job they did.

I got quotes from four different places that specialized in flooring. I ended up going with
because of the sales person, who was great, the price and the 50 year warranty of the floor.
Overall, the job was difficulties - but there were several difficulties. First, I waited over a month to use the installers recommended by the salesperson. This was a big and expensive job for me and I wanted a quality install. On several occasions, the installers were late - which was frustrating. I would get up very early - do what i needed to do to prepare for their arrival - and then they would be as much as an hour late. This was very frustrating! Some days, they were on time though. Not only did they arrive late on about half of the days, but they left by 1-3pm. Never were they at the house later than 3pm. I wanted the job done and I was frustrated by the early departures without explanation. I understand they may have needed to do something else, but being notified about how long they expected to be at the house would have been very helpful in the planning of my day.
When they began to rip out the old flooring, they discovered asbestos tile. So, instead of the floor being glued down and it had be laid over the asbestos tile. To my surprise and despite everything I read and everything I was told by other installers, they charged me MORE $$ to float the floor instead of gluing. Additionally, when they ordered the needed trim pieces I wasn't asked what type of transition I preferred (
or T molding). The molding was also VERY expensive. AND, they had a carpet guy come out twice to fix the edges and I was NEVER told what this would cost. Also, when they got to another part of the house...they said the asbestos tile could be easily removed so they removed it - so the floor has a slant from one room to the next. Why couldn't they take out the asbestos tile in the other room? The tile guys that just did a section of floor tile did. They said it came out easy. And as I understand it, asbestos tile is mostly a problem if you have to chip away at it - not if it comes up in pieces.
Attention to detail was also an issue. The installers worked in a rushed fashion. I like a worker who hustles, but not one who rushes and then makes mistakes. They put in trim sloppily. Lots of gaps. Which at first they said they would not add caulk - but that i would have to do it! When you hire someone to put in a floor and nail the trim, you expect the finishing work. The only reason they ended up doing the finishing work is because there were some VERY BAD cuts - leaving big gaps at some corners. Despite this, I am so glad they did the caulking.
Finally, the most troubling thing of the install was the conversations the installers started with me. Again and again. Most of which I found offensive. I just tried to move it along as much as I could. They were in the middle of a job, I wanted my house back, I wanted the job done.
Overall, my experience with
was okay - but the install was very disappointing. This was a $10K plus job - I deserved and paid for better service.
I would not hire
again. They need better communication and more attention to detail.

When I called to get information, I was told the turn around time was about 3 weeks. I needed it in a week to pack in the moving van. He told me to bring it in and they would get it done. They were so nice! They did it in a couple days and did a very good job. What a bargain.

The service tech was nice, but she only brought 4 carpet samples and didn't explain anything to us. It looked like she just brought the cheapest samples they had. When she got back to me with the quote she provided no detail about the carpet we liked (we made a decision based solely on color) or the pad type. I had to ask her all of these questions (which i felt were standard questions since we aren't carpet professionals). Come to find out she quoted us for poor carpeting and a lower grade pad than what we read online was even able to pass inspection. After she sent me the cost I never heard back from them.

t I was very impressed. The sales guy came to our home with plenty of samples and in 1.5 hours time we had picked our carpet, the sales guy measured the whole house and we set a date for installation. Then when the time came to install the carpet, they called ahead to give us an exact time and thats when they showed up. It took 2 days, during which the house was a

of moved furniture and old and new carpet, Despite this, the 3 guys who installed the carpet were so professional and pleasant it wasn't the trauma I was expecting. In the end, they did a marvelous job. The carpet looks great and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

The whole process went very smoothly. I called the company to set up an appointment, was given an approximate cost, and a date and time when the repairer would come out. The 2 gentlemen were on time (even early), went right to work, and did a great job. I had some of the original carpet which they used for the patch, and it was obviously lighter than the carpet that had been on the floor for several years, but that was not the fault of the repairers. The cost of the repair was very reasonable.

Price included everything, including removing old tile and repairing subflooring. They were prompt and very professional. Estimate was prepared very professionally. The estimate was over $1000 more than the company we went with.

Workers arrived early in morning on day scheduled and worked diligently for four and a half days. First they had to tear out old tile, then prepare cement board and then set new tile, (about 380 sq ft). After tile was set, new quarter round was stained to match woodwork and installed. Workers were pleasant and very professional. They went beyond the estimate and even replaced some floor registers at no additinal cost.

It went well. The carpetting looks good. They were professional and friendly. The only negative comment I would make is that the work was scheduled for one day and it took 2 days. I modified my schedule to work from home the day they were completing the work because we aren't comfortable having people in the house without us. When they arrived (around 8 or 9), they said they didn't know how big the job was and they were a man short. At 3, they were done for the day and had to leave, with the job partially done. I had planned to work in the office the next day so I had to rearrange my schedule agian. It was inconvenient and it would have helped if we had booked it as a two day job from the start.
