"They are open on Saturdays and Sundays which is positive. They are a tire shop that does other services. Some of the others do not do anything else but tires. The brake service they rendered was very expensive. They quoted me struts and that quote was extremely high as well. They are under new management. Some of my previous poor experiences were under previous management."

"I had a tire with a slow leak and my wife drove over a huge piece of metal that put a hole the size of my finger in it. I called tires this morning (on a Saturday) and asked if they might be able to squeeze me in. They said we are busy but bring it down and will get you in. The counter people were very nice and explained that they will take a look at the holes and plug it if possible but made sure that I was aware that they can't plug anything. This place was very busy with customers and employees everywhere. They got my car in the building and showed me the huge metal piece that was stuck in the tire. I was prepared for the old bait and swith where they tell you " you need a new one ".. To my suprise it never came. They said we can plug that hole no problem. They also took another screw out of a different tire and plugged it too. Here comes the kicker. When I got to the counter they didn't charge me anything. They thanked me for coming in and asked that when I do need some tires that I give them a . I will tell everyone that Tires on 37 and Fairview road is the ONLY place to get tires on the southside. The customer service is exceptional and the honesty is much needed in the tire business. This is how business should be done. "

"I got a flat tire on my way to work yesterday, so I stopped in at 8am today on a spare. I let them know that I was going to be late for work and would
appreciate if they could handle this quickly. They fixed the tire and put my spare back where it belongs. I was in and out in 25
mins and didn't have to pay a dime. was very helpful and I will refer people to them. I was worried about being in there a long time and there being something that made the "road hazard" not valid. However, everything went great!
Keep up the good work!"

"I have been a regular customer of theirs for years and years. The main thing I like about them is that they will tell me when something does not need to be fixed and have told me numerous times. I place a little more trust in someone who is willing to walk away from a little business now will keep getting my business down the road. I usually used them for brake work."

"We spent probably around $1000 on that service. The main thing we liked about them was that we could order the tires online and see the pricing and the road hazard insurance. We can have all that done before we go in or set up an appointment. We like their online service and that was one of the main reasons we picked them. The workers there were speedy and we were in and out since they set up an appointment for us. They were ready and had the tires ready when we got there. They put it on and we were very satisfied."

"They seem to be a very customer focused dealership. I have had some warranty work done and they have done an outstanding job taking care of me. I had to have the wheels replaced on my car due to bent rims. Not sure how it happened. I initially had to pay for it because there was no way GM was going to say it was there fault. But ' service man went back to GM and a few months later I got a phone call and they reimbursed my money."

"Excellent. I called and the person I talked with looked into the tires I was interested in and helped me choose similar but not as expensive tires. I felt they were very honest and willing to answer my questions, and I'm happy with the new tires. They also made me aware that I was going to need new brakes, but did not try to pressure me to get them replaced by them immediately."

"In February I stopped in to get air in my tires which had been purchased at this store. I had to wait a long time. When I finally got my SUV back, I was told that my tires were 11 years old, were cracking and needed to be replaced. I left and went home to check my paperwork as I knew the tires were not that old. My paper work showed that the tires were purchased in October 2006 (only 4 years, 4 months old and had only 30,000 miles on a 60,000 mile tire). I called the store and questioned what I had been told about the age of the tires; if they really were 11 years old, they had sold me old tires which is not acceptable. The employee said to come back and they'd check the dates. The next day I received an email survey and responded negatively about being told that the tires were old. The following day I received a phone call from the manager. He asked me to bring my SUV back and said that, if the tires were old, they would "make it right." When I returned a couple of weeks later, they confirmed that the tires were dated 2005 and that they were fine -- lots of tread left, no uneven wear -- and the tires did not need to be replaced. I asked about the cracks the prior employee had mentioned and they showed me some tiny, tiny cracks. They said these were normal and nothing to worry about.
Although this issue was resolved, I feel like they were trying to get me to buy new tires when I did not need them. I also was unhappy about having to wait so long to get air in my tires. In the past, you just drove in and someone did it right away."

"I called in the early afternoon and they were able to get my car in to look at the tire in a couple of hours (dropped off at 2:30, done by 5P). I figured that they would just put a new tire on and be done. The leasing company pays for any repairs so I really wasn't concerned about how it was fixed or the cost. They tested the tire in water and found no leaks. They concluded that due to cold weather and probably hitting a speed bump or pot hole, some seal was lost. So, they simply repaired that seal. I felt that they were very honest in their assessment. They probably could have said that it needed to be replaced and the company would have paid for a new tire, no questions asked. In fact, one of my coworkers just had some of his tires replaced for the same issue and I now wonder if they didn't take advantage of the fleet company. Because of that, I was really impressed with this Firestone facility.
As far as prices go, I couldn't say for certain as I don't pay the bill. However, I had taken the car to a nearby shop for required routine maintenance (it was also on the preferred provider list). I wanted the tires replaced as the winter was approaching and they were getting worn. The leasing company called me and said that I would have to take the car up the street to this Firestone to have the tires replaced as they had more competitive prices. I assume that since they pay the bill, they did their research on where to find the best deal. So, this Firestone probably does have the best prices.
In addition, the guys who worked there were really nice, professional and fun. They gave me a little for taking the car next door to the JIffy to get the oil changed a week ago. I said that I knew that they could get me in and out in 15 minutes so I stopped in there. They said that they could do the same so joked that they expected me to stop by to see them in 3,000 miles. I appreciated their honesty and humor so I'll stop by there when the oil needs changed again. I hope the manager appreciates the staff and their focus on customer service. To be perfectly honest, I'm not easily impressed but I really liked these guys. I've only been there 2x but I had a very good experience each time.
So in summary, I found this Firestone to be honest and customer service oriented. That is getting hard to find these days. They could have taken advantage of my leasing company but didn't. And for that, I felt they deserved 20 minutes of my time to write up a positive review. I hope this helps and I would recommend this Firestone to a family member or friend :)"
