"We ordered a beautiful dress for my daughter's wedding. It was all lace but had the appearance of being two pieces. When the dress came in it did not look the" same and the workmanship was poor. The salesperson was willing to talk to us, but not . She made every excuse she could. My daughter lives in Atlanta and we are in Indy. We sent her a letter via email with photos. My husband called because I was afraid I would get emotional. No use. She was plain rude and argumentative. She tried to come up with reasons why it looked different. She said they don't always come exactly like the sample. She finally offered for my daughter to come back in the dress, but by now my daughter was upset and not trusting this woman. She made the experience awful. It was upsetting my daughter and it was two months until the wedding so we just moved on, but I vowed to get the word out. It was her job to get us a dress like we tried on. I have photos that I wish I could attach. Her response should have been, I am so sorry you are disappointed. Let's see what we can do.

"This shop was recommended by my cousin, who found her dress here. I am plus sized, and was having great difficulty finding a shop that not only sold plus-sized dresses" but carried samples for trying on. I actually left two other places crying because after getting their "assistance" I ended up feeling like a whale. The first visit was lovely, and I actually ended up finding my dress. After that first visit I had some issues. Most of them were resolved. 1) My mom and I found the dress and got the price before leaving. The girl said the price included dress, plus size fee, and delivery. When we returned to purchase there was a plus size dress fee added, apparently she did not add it on the first time. 2) came in from out of town to see me in my dress. I scheduled an appointment for me and all my ladies to go in together so they could see me in the sample, and specified as much when I scheduled. We went in for our appointment and were then informed that the sample had been sold. 3) We could not order our bridesmaids dresses from them due to the specialty sizes needed that they don't sell. One of my maids called to see if they would measure her even if her dress was through a different company. They told her she could and made appointment. When she showed up they told her they would not measure her because she wasn't buying from them. 4) Dress came in and the only alterations needed were the straps taken in and bussel ties added. The woman helping on that occasion said they could store my for me with the dress, so I left it. My first fitting (I was told this would be my only one since the alterations were so minimal) was terrible. The entire bottom hem of my new dress looked like someone had run Velcro along it. It was fraying and in some places the edging was hanging off completely. When I brought this to their attention they, at first, made it sound like it was my fault for walking from the dressing room to the mirrors. I pointed out that the dress had been tried on once, for the alterations appointment, and that I got a length that was 1/4" clearance from the ground on three sides. They also lost my . They told me they don't store veils not bought from them. My sister had to keep me from going bridezilla. I had to wait a week to find out that they had found my . When I went in for my final fitting (to see the repairs that shouldn't have been needed in the first place) the was not mine. However, it was close enough that I did not care. I really just wanted to be done with them. I would recommend them as a place to try on plus size dresses, but not much else.

Bridal Shop reviews in Indianapolis

The girl I worked with, , was extremely helpful. She gave me many options and selections to choose from. Happily accomodated when we wanted to take pictures. I plan on using them for my groom's tux rental. They have the best selection of any place we went.

Had my wedding dress altered with . I had never had anything of that magnitude done before and was a little nervous considering it was my wedding dress! I was immediately put at ease from the very beginning. Not only is the staff extremely effecient and talented, but the owner has such a calming and sweet personality. I felt ...More welcome and the whole experience has been a great one. I feel very lucky to have stumbled onto this wonderful place.

This dress is very original. The intricate beading and design is like nothing I had found at other bridal shops. They also allowed me to come in on numerous occasions to try on my dress with my shoes, and to look at it. There were times where they were a little hard to get a hold of, but they are a small shop with very little employees. I don't ...More know that I would go back there for any other reason, but I am extremely happy with my dress.

The people at shop were great. My daughter and I were in my sister in law's wedding and went in to look at dresses when we were in for Christmas. We live in Indianapolis, but the wedding was set for in . My daughter is 10-years-old, quite modest, and ...More hasn't yet gotten into being very girly, so I was anxious about how well she'd do trying on dresses with a group of strangers.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. was our main contact and she made feel so welcome and special -- even when she wanted to try her dress on over her and long-sleeved shirt. We were there for a long time that first visit, and they were very patient with all of us. Seven months later, when we went back in to ask if they'd press the dresses to fix the time they'd spent in the suitcase, remembered us, was just as sweet to as she was the first time and took care of our needs perfectly -- at no charge.

When I picked the dresses up -- including my sister-in-law's wedding dress -- the shop was fairly busy and one woman in particular was being kind of demanding and mean. The staff handled it very well and while I had to wait a bit, it was not the staff's fault at all and they were as accommodating as they could possibly be. I wanted to defend them and tell that woman to back off!

The wedding was wonderful and my daughter (and I) were totally happy with our dresses.

I found the prices to be very competitive, but the service was lacking. I don't feel I got any special 1:1 treatment there(though I wasn't purchasing my wedding gown, where as if I was, I probably would have a set appointment with a consultant). The dresses were ok quality, looked nice on the girls. They did do a great job at shipping them ...More to 3 different addresses for me with no problems.

I arrived at my appointed time, and was given five numbers to my first five dress selections. I was told that a consultant would pick up my dresses and have a room ready for me. I picked my dresses fairly quickly, and then waited for a consultant to come by. No one did, so I went to the desk to ask if I could just get a dressing ...More room to try on the dresses (my sis was going to help me change in and out of the dresses). A consultant asked my name and then said that she would take care of me. When we got to the dressing room, my sister said that she'd help me, and the consultant very rudely told her that "This is a full-service bridal salon, and it's MY job to help her." From there, the consultant was clumsy and slow at changing the dresses. She kept trying to hoist the dresses over my head from behind me, and I was probably 6 inches taller than her. It didn't work well. Putting on dresses from the front by "diving" into them (like I had in every other salon, and it worked well) was not an option with her. Then at one point she left me in the dressing room, no dress on, to return the first two dresses to the floor while there were still three dresses left to try on. I was standing in the dressing room, with nothing but my undergarments on, waiting for her to return to "help" me. I was not happy! With 1200+ dresses in the store, I didn't think it was necessary to get those to dresses to the floor ASAP. Not once did she ask me what type of dress I was looking for or offer to find any more for me. Once I had tried on my first five dresses, I left. The consultant treated me like I was interfering with her day, not like I was a customer.

I went to four times to try on wedding dresses and found the selection quite large and prices varying from several hundred to several thousand dollars. An appointment is required to try on dresses (this appears to be commonplace with most stores) and they only allow 3 garments at a time and no pictures of dresses are allowed. ...More The picture policy bothers me since most brides shop around and who can remember each dress they've tried on? Regardless, I was pleased by the selection and although many of the dresses were expensive there were some sale/clearance items which were reasonably priced. With that said I will have to point out that their service is not their strong point. About half of my visits I found them to be unpleasant as well as pushing me hard to buy the more expensive dress (they didn't have my size so I'd have to order the dress and hope it was flattering) coupled with some gross exaggerations just to get the commission. Also, to be fair I did have some good experiences where the staff was pleasant and helpful. So, I did find a dress at a reasonable sale price and was able to buy off the rack in a relatively quick and painless fashion. Definitely worth a look as they have a very large selection of designer and in house brand dresses, but don't be surprised by the service.

My daughter got married September 2007. We bought her dress in Cincinnati at . My daughter-in-law got her dress there five years earlier and I was impressed with the sales clerks knowledge. After my daughter tried on dresses she and I had picked out, without luck finding "the perfect dress"; the sales ...More asked if she could pick out some dresses that she thought would look good for my daughter. The first dress was perfect plus it was cheaper than the other dresses we had picked out. I think they help so many brides, they have an excellent idea on what type of dresses looks good on what type of bride after determining their taste, budget, etc. We only got our wedding dress and there but they have a complete selection of bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, mother of the bride, shoes, jewelry, etc. They carry all price ranges and designers The draw back is a large changing room so no privacy. Call ahead for an appointment.
