"Our overall experience was positive - when we entered the store it took awhile for us to be greeted but eventually we were. At that time we had already picked out the fridge we wanted. Two men retrieved the fridge and helped load it in our truck - I asked the salesman if there was any type of instruction manual that came with the fridge, thinking maybe it was inside the unit. I got a smart response from him and he said 'just turn it on' - so that wasn't appreciated but maybe he was more so trying to be funny. The product itself is very nice to look at and keeps our beverages cold."

"Whirlpool quality seems iffy, but made it right with no arguments whatsoever. I had to get 3 fridges, and 2 ovens delivered to get ones free of manufacturing defects,, but the manager at the store on Commercial Drive was totally helpful and gracious about making things right. I would certainly buy from them again."

"While installing the new appliances, they discovered we did not have adequate electrical to wire the cooktop. They also discoverd the microwave would not fit. They installed the double oven and came back the following week to install a different microwave. They were very helpful in getting the microwave quickly. We also discovered a problem with the double oven. Their service department came out quickly and got the part ordered. They have been very helpful and responsive."

"We purchased a dishwasher based on rave reviews from research on the internet and rave reviews from store employees who said this brand is the best, nothing ever goes wrong with and that they will take care of you. The dishwasher has not worked from day one. we've followed their "procedures": called to trouble-shoot a couple of times and followed their instructions adjusting the amount of soap used and programs used. We went into the store to show them the dirty dishes even after following 's instructions. We have had issues of everything from soap residue on some dishes to milkshake glasses that look like they were never even loaded in the dishwasher, all in the same cycle. we've tried every program. When we went into the store, the sales rep gave us the number to call again and apologized that they "never have problems with ." No one seems to want to acknowledge that they have one now... or have any sense of urgency in getting this resolved. we've been using paper and plastic dishes because we are tired of re-washing all of our dishes (I'm 8 months pregnant and tire stading over a sink to hand wash dishes). When said they would send someone out from , my husband had to call to set it up because they never called him. They ran and tested the machine, installed a "high loop," which was not done at the time of installation, which they said they usually do and asked who installed the dishwasher - to which I responded they did. They again told us to adjust the amount of soap used. They also cleaned the soap residue from the dishwasher. We ran another load per their instructions, and there still seems to be a residue of food on some dishes... simply not clean. It appears to be doing a better job - soap residue seems to be gone, but not all of the dishes are spotless (or even clean) as I would expect. They noted if we called again, they would send a manager out to hook up a computer. Why would they not do this from the beginning, when we are at 25 days without a working dishwasher? I called service this morning, and they asked if they could call me back. I had to call them back at 2:30. As with every call, rather than referencing our history they ask the same questions and if we've talked to , etc. They scheduled to send someone out with the computer tomorrow. I'm not sure how this will be resolved but felt I should write something to warn of the experience I have had to date... and maybe light a fire under them to get this resolved...!? Also, when you need something installed or serviced, they don't even give you a window of time to be home. They say they will call you the day-of to give you a two hour window. So, if you work full-time, like me, better plan ahead for not really being able to plan your day. "

"I purchased two refrigerators and one dishwasher from the Eastside location on Monday March 22, 2010. The delivery of one dishwasher and refrigerator to be complete at one address on Tuesday March 23, 2010, and one refrigerator on Saturday March 27, 2010 to another location.
I purchased one "scratch and " refrigerator, one "scratch and " dishwasher, and one new refrigerator. The salesman agreed to send me the "floor" model, not the "scratch and " as the floor model was dented as well. The "scratch and " looked as though it has been in someone?s home and then returned - I DID NOT WANT THAT.
They delivered the "scratch and " model, not the one we agreed to. I was not happy, and the one they delivered wouldn?t stop "beeping". I was given no manual, or operating instructions so I called back to the store, my salesman was off so I spoke with , the operations manager. He advised me that I could print one off the internet. WHAT????? Then he proceeded to tell me that it was an open door alarm, the doors were closed. I wanted the product I agreed to pay for at my house on the day we agreed it would be here, TODAY. Nope, will not happen, can not make that happen says . Because now, I have found after a couple of hours, that the refrigerator is NOT working at all. NOT GETTING COLD - - all of my food (approx. $250) is wasting. I NEED MY OLD ONE BACK - Per , nope can?t do that either. The ONLY thing he can do he says, is get me a new one tomorrow (Wednesday) or bring my old one back tomorrow. What am I to do in the mean time, my food is rotting????? Can?t help you with that, sorry! WHAT????? You can not be serious. Yes, per his manager - General Manager - that?s all they can do. Total hourly wage wasted on their mistake ($225 - agreed to two hour delivery spent 8hours calling, trying to clean up their mess so 6 hours at $37.50 per hour is $225)
Okay can you promise me at least first pick up so I can get what?s left of my rotting food out of the coolers that are packed with ice first thing in the morning - NOPE cant promise that either, sorry. (ICE total - $15)
So Wed they come they get their equipment but the refund paperwork is for $1428.42? I signed a contract for $2068.28 and wrote a personal check for $69.99 for a delivery fee. I was advised that I would be credited the other money - they didn?t give me credit for the dishwasher, warranty, installation, ice machine install, etc. When/How no one seems to be able to advise, and that I would get a check from corporate for the $69.99 again, no one seems to know when that will happen.
I have worked in customer service for 20 years, and been a consumer of goods and services for just as many, and have never, in ALL my years (both professional and personal) ever encountered such dismissive customer service. and their represent ivies are a poor excuse for a business. Not only will I never EVER walk into another store, I will scream and preach from every corner, party, encounter I make to NEVER EVER go to . In today?s world, where there is a fridge and TV on every corner in every store, customer service is what really matters, and has lost sight of that fact. I believe though they will learn when their customers start going where they are treated with respect and helpfulness.

"Do NOT buy appliances from this store!! I received a call the day before delivery from their subcontractor to let me know when they would be arriving the following day. In the course of the call, the gentleman told me that my refrigerator was on back order. I was very concerned as I had already sold my old one and I had not been told this by anyone at . I immediately called the young woman in the Appliance section in the store. She made some calls to the warehouse, etc and called back to tell me she didn't know why he would tell me that, that my refrigerator would be delivered with the rest of my appliances the following day. I told her that if there was a delay, I would like to reschedule the delivery of the other appliances, so that I wouldn't have to take time off of work more than one day. She said she would call if she heard anything different. I never heard from her.
Of course, the next day I take off of work to meet the delivery - no refrigerator. I call the store and talk to the same young woman who now tells me that it will be the following week. I inform her that I think it's unacceptable to find out about a backorder the day before, then be told that there wasn't a problem, and still not have a refrigerator. I asked her what they could do to get me a refridgerator this weeekend. She said it would have to be something in stock. I asked her to look at what they had and get back to me. No return call.
I then called the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty. I was told he was busy and would have to return my call. No return call, Now I guess I will have to take time on my day off to go to the store and track down a manager. Absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable lack of customer service.
A note on the installation - they apparently think it is fine to call the day you are scheduled to give you a block of time when they will arrive. very inconvenient."

"The extended warranty is close to ending and we've had problems with the appliances. I've contacted them 6 times with all conversations being 10 minutes or longer, and still I haven't gotten anywhere. I've even set up appointments to have them look at the washer and dryer and no one will show up. Every name and phone number I'm given are different then the one I was given previously. "

"It was very smooth. We purchased the refrigerator we picked out in 15 mins. We scheduled our delivery and the delivery guys were there when they said they would be. I looked at a convection oven and the gentleman called me back after I got home. Impressive since I was not looking for a call back"

"So far, both appliances have worked well without any problems. Our salesman (sorry, can not remember his name) was extremely helpful. They provided us with free delivery and installation. The washer and dryer was delivered on time and installed within minutes. They really know their stuff!"
