Reviews for Houston Veterinarians

"I have been taking my dog here for the past year and a half to see Dr.
. So far so good... I love the folks at the front desk. They treat my dog just like I do (my previous vet's office did not) and are very attentive. Dr.
is also great. My dog is older now and he has a lot of experience with geriatric dogs.

"When we rescued this dog, we were fairly new to the neighborhood and had no idea we had a mobile house-call
right around the corner! Dr
was recommended by a neighbor in the rescue network. We are so glad we found her!
is compassionate and caring and a very good diagnostician. Now she provides veterinary services for our other dogs as well. One of our dogs gets extremely nervous at the
's office and does much better at home. Problem solved. Our third dog is an
who has some medical issues that are somewhat complicated. Dr B spent a lot of time researching and explaining things to me.
We are extremely happy with
/ Dr.
and have no reservations in recommending her to others.

Houston Veterinarians Reviews

"I have always been pleased with the level of service provided with this clinic under the old owner and the new one. Prices are higher than the country vet I used to see but I think that may be the way of the world these days. Even pet healthcare is getting more expensive along with people insurance.
The staff are caring and polite. The new renovations are appreciated.
"Late one Friday afternoon, my dog started panting heavily and wouldn’t eat her dinner. I took her to a local vet who thought it might be disk problem (she was still walking), gave her prednisone and pain pills and told me to take her to BluePearl if she got worse over the weekend. Like most family vets, he did not have the imaging equipment to diagnose a disk problem.
The next day she was dragging her butt on floor, unable to walk. I drove 45-minutes to get to BluePearl and it was probably the best thing I’ve ever done for my dog. Her surgery went well and four weeks later she is able to walk normally.
The vet techs were great. I was driving from Central Florida and got in early the day of her surgery. The vet tech kept her for me while I went out to breakfast and then brought her back out to me while we waited for her operation time. The day after her surgery,
I came to visit her and another vet tech arranged some blankets outside for us after I mentioned that she loved to lie in the sun.
The vets answered all my questions, called me with an update each day she was hospitalized, and gave me a sling to help her walk when I left. I couldn’t have asked for

, more helpful crew.
As others noted, this expertise and 24/7 service isn’t cheap but it’s reasonable for a 24/7 emergency facility that has neurologists, oncologists, dermatologists, etc. on call for any type of emergency. I wouldn’t hesitate to use BluePearl again.
"We have an elderly, special needs cat. She's been sick lately, so we contacted

were very professional and gentle with our cat. We told them about how to accommodate her special needs and they listened and did everything they could to make the exam easy on her. We couldn't have asked for more compassionate, caring people to take care of our cat. We will be using them in the future and highly recommend this A+ team.
"quick response, very punctual, extremely professional, sympathetic to the nth degree. this is the second time we have used
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and cannot recommend them enough. this experience is certainly a most difficult one for any pet owner -

strives to make it significantly less painful.
"It went GREAT! Dr.
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
has been treating our pets for several years. It's SO convenient to have her come to our home. Our pets are SO much more relaxed being treated in there own home and the ease and less stress on our pets is priceless! We had an old kitty that had to be put down and I just can't tell you how compassionate Dr.

was. Not having to take him to an office then bring him home to be buried was so much easier to deal with. Our two Labs love Dr.

"Our dogs became lethargic after use of a new tea and
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
medication. The medication is a liquid applied to their skin.
We called
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and they had us bring the dogs in the same day. They immediately checked vitals and did blood tests that found no serious problems, then washed the dogs thoroughly and observed them for a few hours before releasing them to us.
Though the dogs were not in a life-threatening situation per the vitals check, they kept them in their ICU to have them under close observation for any worsening of their condition.
The dogs responded well, returning to their energetic selves that evening.
The vet recommended a replacement medication. They explained that occasionally some brands cause adverse reactions and they recorded the incident in our dog's records to make sure the medication is never re-prescribed and they said they monitor/record such reports for their medication recommendations for other patients.
We have used
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for many years with all the dogs we have had. They have done great work over the years, and we want to give special recognition to Dr.
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. He had suggested Cushings treatment for our Pomeranian when another clinic said that was not the cause of hair loss after extensive testing. The treatments worked and the dog enjoyed a long life free of the disease's effects. Dr
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
's "bedside manner" and compassion (for our dogs and us) has been superb over years. He even came to our house to put one of our dogs gently to sleep after years of kidney problems finally caught up with her. It meant a lot to have her be able to go quietly in our home rather than experience the trauma of going to the vet office in her final hours.
"I also purchased cat food, which was much more expensive than I have paid in other places. I thought the exam, cat food and medicine for the ear and flea meds was a bit pricey, as it came to approx. $240. Also, the location is a bit hard to find. The people were friendly, but they were quite pushy, wanting me to book another check up appt.
"We had moved to this area about six months ago and were in
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
of a new Vet close by and went to Angie's list and saw great reviews about Hearthstone and went in and were so impressed that they have been our pet's Vet now.
The customer service from the receptionist to the vet techs is outstanding and they are always willing and able to help or assist and you don't feel rushed like your a heard of cattle with some Vets or doctor's offices.
Houston Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
took time to answer all our questions and give suggestions. We were impressed that he had reviewed the medical records before hand for our pet and knew his history and what his treatment plan and medications were.
Thank you Hearthstone for treating your customers like family!
