"He came out to install a new front door. When he installed the door he only used two hinges rather than three. The original door had 3 hinges. The new door was exactly the same as the old (same model, same size, etc.) Three hinges are needed for safety and to maintain door integrity (specially front door). He never asked me if I was OK with using ...more only 2 hinges. I asked him to fix this issue so to add a third hinge. I have called him several times and texted him too. He finally replied to my text message and said that the door only needed two hinges. Again I asked him to come back out to install the third hinge and I didnt get a reply. I texted him again and he finally replied that he was to busy to come out and fix this issue. All I wanted was for him to come out and install the third henge to the door. I paid full amount and he has cashed the checks already. Also, until he finishes his work I cannot paint the front door (so besides looking bad, weather can damage it since it's wood)."

I thought it was odd though that he told me they "couldn't get" wood replacement windows (which was what I had requested). A quick Google

turns up several manufactures of wood windows. After I had not heard from him for a couple of weeks I sent him a follow up e-mail asking where the rest of my quote info was for the roof repair, exterior repairs, and siding replacement. He replied promptly but only sent a quote for the roof repair, nothing else. He said in his note that pending EPA lead regulations were delaying the window replacement quote since our house was built in the 1940's. I sent him a second follow up e-mail asking again about the other repair quotes and requesting some clarification about the radiant

quote. I never received a response. It has now been over a month since my initial quote request and I have only received 2 out of the total of 5 estimates I asked for. Their pricing is very fair, but I get the feeling the company has grown so large that they aren't interested in what they consider "smaller" jobs."
