Physical Therapy Reviews in Houston

Therapy was not performed as written in prescription. Evaluation was preformed in an open public forum, no privacy, unprofessional. There was a young child of employee left to run about area where therapy was being preformed. Facility needed a good cleaning. Did not return due to a groin pull as a result of my first visit and underwhelming impression of therapist and facility.

My initial visit was to provide the doctor with the injuries and give them the orders my surgeon gave to me. I was to only do small range of motion moves in my arm which Dr.
showed me exactly what to do. I continued doing my range of motion work until my surgeon advanced me to weight bearing treatment. This clinic has all weight machines and free weights to accommodate me. I have been doing my physical therapy at this clinic for a year now as I have had multiple surgeries on my arm.
The clinic will accommodate you regardless of the hours you need to be treated; they are open 6 days per week from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. There is plenty of staff available to assist you with modalities so there is never a wait. The 2 doctors available are very personable and treat you as if you are family. They will file you insurance for you and assist you with any help you need.

Physical Therapy reviews in Houston

On first visit, x-rays were taken and analyzed followed by physical exam. Treatment began on same day. Felt immediate relief!!

Pain has been continously reduced and is now consistently manageable/ bearable (although treatments are still continuing). Regained strength in right leg. Treatments have been non-intrusive and pain free. Also, sleeping much better at night.

The clinic's environment is very friendly. Visits have been very enjoyable. Staff is very accomodating with times for appointments.

He is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would use his service in the future too.

I cannot say enough for the positive experience I had. Not only are Drs.

good listeners and good explainers, but they are very current in what is called "evidence-based therapy." That is, they are not chiropractors or quacks, but scientist practitioners who know the clinical data supporting their therapies. They even gave me technical articles to read that showed support in the literature for my treatment. (I may be unusual in that my background is such that I can read them.) This evaluation should really be a DOUBLE positive, because shortly afterwards, my wife went to see Drs.

for arm and neck pain. Same general successful progression of treatment - started with listening carefully, ended with instruction and reduction of pain, i.e. successful treatment.

In approximately the amount of time suggested for improvement, she dramatically improved in flexibility and lessening pain. Affiliates has a one-on-one "hands on" philosophy combined with home exercises. Their equipment is effective and therapists knowledgeable. On one occasion, I saw a sports medicine MD receiving treatment at Affiliates. The treatment will cost more, but will probably take less time.

Broke my left wrist in 4 places on New Year's Day. Had surgery the next day to internally pin and then externally fixate the multiple breaks. After the pin and external fixator were removed February 15th, my orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy at

to immediately begin therapy on my badly broken wrist. Started physical therapy with therapist on February 18th. At that point I was unable move my wrist at all. The therapist did a thorough evaluation that included my wrist, left elbow, and left shoulder, all adversely affected by having my wrist fixated for six weeks. They will make your hand (or other injured areas) do things that you would not have believed could be done. The improvement in four weeks has been amazing. Their knowledge of the body and his experience with physical therapy meant a great outcome for me.
