"I found
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
through bidmycleaning.com.  During my phone call with
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
Maslar, the owner, I explained that I needed him to do a detailed house cleaning for a home we were purchasing on the day of closing.  I explained that I needed some detailed cleaning in a couple of areas due to the fact that the previous owner had cats and that we have allergies.  I also specifically  asked him to wash out the drawers in all of the cabinets - not just wipe them out - as the cats hid in the drwaers throughout the house.  I gave him the square footage & types of rooms in the house.  He offered to do the carpet cleaning and I accepted that offer for an additional fee. When
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
and his helper arrived, I showed them the house.  I pointed out several areas where I knew the cats had spent time and reiterated that he needed to really clean out the drawers.  We were lucky in that the previous owners were tidy people so the house just needed an overall cleaning due to the moving process. The real 'deep' cleaning was just to remove the cat hair from places. They cleaned the house that day.  I had to remind them during the day to do things that I saw them overlooking like wiping down the ceiling fans.
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
's helper told me "I'll tell him to do that" when I asked her so I made sure to mention those items to him directly.  When he started cleaning the carpets he had a small household carpet cleaner - not an industrial unit.  I thought that was odd but didn't comment at the time.  When
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
left he said he had trouble cleaning some areas because the cable guy had been there at the same time.  (???). He said that if I needed him to go back over any areas to call him and that he would do so.  I paid him and he left. After he left, I looked in several of the drawers and BALLS of cat hair were still in SEVERAL drawers.  It didn't look like he had even wiped out the drawers with a paper towel let alone washed them.  One bathroom (where the litter box had been still smelled slightly of cat urine).  All of the ceiling fans were still dusty and covered in cat hair.  The kitchen range hadn't been cleaned. I called
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
to ask him to come back out and remedy these issues.  We scheduled a date and time.  He never showed and never called me back to follow up.  I ended up calling another company that did a FABULOUS job on the cleaning.  I actually hired them to clean my house on an ongoing every other week basis because they did such a good job.  I also hired a carpet cleaner to come back out and clean the carpets. I would NEVER recommend that anyone hire this company.  If they were unable to clean a completely empty house that was tidy to begin with, you could never trust them to thoroughly clean a house with furniture, adults, kids, etc.  Also, he completely ignored a specific request I made to him before I booked him and when he arrived at my home to clean out the drawers.  The final issue was
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
's lack of  professionalism to agree to come back to remedy a problem and then do a no show.

"We used
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
Maids because our regular maid wasn't able to come that week and we wanted to make sure our house got cleaned in the meantime.  I told the person on the phone that we did not need a deep cleaning just a routine cleaning since our regular maid would be coming again in 2 weeks.  Her response was that they do the same cleaning no matter what.  So I said okay thinking that they'd get to the house and see that it only needed a routine cleaning so it wouldn't take them as long.  They ended up sending 3 cleaning ladies instead of the 2 that I was told would show up on the phone and it still took them 3 hours at $80/hour to do what looked like a routine cleaning to me.  It was not a deep cleaning, they did not go above and beyond.  They left clean dishes in the sink, didn't dust fans or hard to reach spots and showed up at the very end of the time window that I was quoted.  It was a huge rip off and I will never use them again."

"They do a wonderful job. They clean my house every 6 weeks and they do such a good job that I

’t have to use them more than every 6 weeks. The approximate cost is every six weeks for an 1100 square foot home. The cleaners are pleasant, professional, and they know their staff and they know my property. They know how many staff to send to get the job done in two hours. That’s top management! I’m happy with their services and I would recommend them highly to others."

"I am 60 year old retired facility project manager that knows about business ethics and time management. This is my first complaint in my life that I have ever had to write about bad business practices and service. I have called the owner numerous times over several months and have not received any resolution that I feel is honest. In each of my many calls we argue for a hour and he tells me he will return the money that I feel I was  was overcharged, only if I will give him a perfect A + score on Angie's List. This is not the first time he has tried to scam a perfect review in exchange for a refund on an overcharged job. He has done this on other local reviews, so it's just not me.  I will not write a dishonest perfect review. But after months, I tried to compromise and not  write about the company's tardiness, grumpy slow workers and the overcharge and ultimately,  the bribe. But he won't agree to that, he wants a perfect A report. What good is having your house clean if you feel dirty, trying to get your money back from being overcharged by putting in a dishonest report. I need the money but  I am a honest person. That really should say it all. Just  a misunderstanding of a quote and services between us?  You be the judge. I contacted
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
to clean my daughter's new home (only lived there 5 months) before she came home from her honeymoon. They were the first people I called and since it was on short notice they couldn't do it anytime in the next couple days but could add me on after their last job that afternoon. I was very appreciative of this and he quoted me their rate by the hour - not the job. I told them I could NOT spend (since I was wedding broke) anymore than 2 hours - since it was $69.99 an hour for two cleaners. So I told Skylur Landry, the owner, that  I would pre-clean, declutter and straighten the entire house (sweep floors, dust baseboards, clear counters) which I did -  all so they could do the things I wanted them to spend time doing like the kitchen, baths and floors - all within the 4 hours and costing $140.  I told him the house is 2,400 sq.ft., but I told him to skip two bedrooms, a loft and hall completely - making the job way less that 1,900 sq.ft. No furniture or stuff to dust in these 2 empty  rooms    &  throughout the house  - only just vac carpet, clean floors, baths and kitchen only.  They were suppose to get there at 4:00 or 4:30 pm.  They called at 4:30 that  they would be a little late. They finally came a bit before 8 pm. The two cleaning ladies and I did a walk through and started work at 8:00. How can you be close to 4 hours late without a call, an apology or an excuse?  They mentioned nothing. I should of known better,  especially when we they were not very pleasant and very slow - just  in getting instructions of what needed to be done and eliminated.  I thought they probably were just cranky and exhausted from working all day. At no time, did the ladies apologize for not calling or being so late or tell me they couldn't  complete my short list in two hours - but I  know now that these were all clues to what would happen.SCAM.  I am also there the whole time, working with them to know they were really exhausted and slow. I suspect they added another job at the last minute, before mine at 4:00 pm,  which is why they didn't call that they going to be three+ hours late. Scope of  job: 1. Second floor: I wanted them to vacuum two  8 'x 10 ' vacant bedrooms and the stairs and clean a very small 4' x 7' bath w/ 30" counter and tub. The older (60+) lady started to clean this rarely used guest bath, first thing. She was up there cleaning that bath for over an 1 hour and then came down to announce their "pride and joy"

was broken from the previous job. The other lady that spoke English, asked to use our vacuum, which I had put in the shop that day with a frayed cord.  So they had to call the owner to come over at 9:30 pm to fix it. Yes, she took over an hour to clean only one, rarely used,  4' x 7' guest bath. Later, the owner asked me why it took her so long? Why indeed?   2. First floor:  I ask them to only wet mop the already swept clean

. floors and tile floors in living, den, dining and kitchen and make one bed and clean one shower & tub bath and one tiny 1/2 bath, wipe down one small kitchen and clean a

/oven. Remember, I had precleaned floors and counters and straighten everything, clearing all decks for them to quickly wipe with cleaner. I even eliminated furniture cleaning in dining room, living room, den, master bedroom- just wet mop the floors.  I had swept under the bed and swept baseboards but missed dusting behind one small dresser - (done 4 weeks earlier). The grumpy lady shrieked like she had found

's

. This dresser is under the AC outake vent and can get dusty and she dramatized cleaning  the 36" L,  of dust on the baseboard ( the only dust spot  that  I had missed in the entire house), in front of her boss. I tried to explain they had a dust problem because of the outake vent and even asked Skylur if he could recommend a special vent, to diffuse her hysteria.   She got to the kitchen counters,

and she was surprised and huffy that  I wanted the

's oven cleaned.  BTW, I have never had a maid not clean these things before, let alone ask me if I wanted any of  these things done. She told me the oven was a  "deluxe item".  I had no idea what she was talking about since, I didn't get a job menu or visit their site - I just go their number from the phonebook. I  was very surprised cleaning a
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
and oven, dusting baseboards, fans, light fixtures, blinds, etc. are  a deluxe job item. I eliminated over 4 rooms of cleaning and 6 rooms of furniture to clean and my having decluttered and swept counters, floors and baseboards cleaned, couldn't they do one  "deluxe" item.  I can get my 3,800 sq. ft. home done thoroughly for $ 85 + $ 15 tip - three people for 3 + hours and they are a lot faster and are very thorough and do every knick-knack and windows. They are happy and smiling the whole time!  I guess the difference is there is no middleman and they can do it for less.  But I expect the same upbeat attitude. If Skylur doesn't pay well or overworks them, they do not need to take their problems out on me and "
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
and

"  doing their jobs.  Talk to your boss.  Mine have never asked me if they wanted me to clean anything- like fans,
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
, oven - ever, nor have I ever had to ask them. I personally have never swept a floor without cleaning a baseboard along with it - so why is a baseboard extra? I gave a  clear job list.  I finally told her just to clean the kitchen oven and and forget everything else, eliminating things we discussed in the walk through, because her asking me took more time than my just doing it.  The owner, Skylur Landry, is a personable salesman that is positive and boasts about his sanitizing service and
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
vacuum cleaners and mostly straight A+ reviews.  "Only one in
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
",  he says, trying to build the buzz for his  new business.  Making sure his service record is being "published" with  A+'s is his real goal!  I guess that I was bamboozled by it, thinking he was fair or honest, because of his high rating in Angie's List - even  though there were only  two jobs reported. Both jobs seem to be about the same size as mine and  both costing  $75.  No where near $ 261.  Months later,  I found in the
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
Yelp reviews that a lot of his clients feel he is really overcharging  and the workers are very slow. One reported he had the same problem that I did where Skylur quoted a price and charged more and would only refund the overcharge to the client, if the client would give him straight A +'s in his review on Yelp. Bribes may fly in Louisiana,  but not  here in the

state.  See a pattern.
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
is big enough to get a new client everyday but do they ever get hired twice ? I would hate to have anything be damaged or stolen, if a company will cheat a rating this way. How to grow a company is to keep all your clients and your reputation honorable.   I kept all my clients for over 30  years and  added new business by referrals  - not bought false A + reviews in the phone book.  Having been a project manager, I just assumed he had seen, evaluated the scope of the job then and would realize they were slow, taking longer than we discussed and the house wasn't big and  totally pre-cleaned   and that he wouldn't penalize me when they didn't have a vacuum that worked or for their work breaks,  Then I got a $261.42 charge from TEXMAID on my credit card bill. I feel I was overcharged by $121 (close to twice the amount I agreed to) for a job I feel was already charged at  rate. I called the owner when I received my credit card bill for $ 261.42 and told him I really couldn't believe he could of charged me for more than 2 hours, since that is what I had only agreed to and never was asked or agreed to extending the job.  I thought they were slow from working too many jobs that day. and arriving  at near 8 pm to start my job - 4 hours late.  I told him I didn't appreciate that cleaning didn't include cleaning a
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
wit an oven. I was really confused why the equivalent of 4 man hours worth of work couldn't clean this job for $140.  They were there 8:00 - 10:20, so I guess they charge their travel & full hours,  even when they are almost four hours late without a call and without a working vacuum. I asked him to go over the invoice and talk to his staff and see if he thought the invoice was accurate and fair. I am writing this since he never called back nor did he credit my account this month.  I may of been an easy to be taken advantage of , because of  being an add-on or from out of town, but I felt the $140 that I agreed to would of been on the high side anyway for this pre-cleaned  job. I really had hoped that we could of  started

on a bi-monthly basis  - but their loss.

"They were great and incredibly thorough. They were very expensive. They moved furniture and they pulled up carpet, it was moving in type cleaning. It was worth it but it was very expensive. They went to town. We're going to use them again."

"I contacted
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
by email and she responded within 24 hours and prepared an estimate of the cost to clean my house. I opted for only the 4 hours covered by the deal. It was supposed to be a top to bottom clean, but I asked her if they could just do a general cleaning instead. She was very flexible and said that they would do what ever I wanted. They did a great job. Everything was super clean in the 4 rooms that they cleaned.
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
called me in the afternoon while they were cleaning to tell me how far they had gotten and to see if I wanted to pay more for the remainder of the house. She then followed up the next day to see if I was satisfied which I appreciated. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely use them again if I could afford it.

"I called
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
around 2 p.m. on a Friday afternoon and immediately received a call back from
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
. They were able to come clean our house first thing Saturday morning, even though we live near the Galleria and they do not normally service our area. Her team arrived within 15 minutes of the promised time and worked extremely hard to get our construction zone house back to standard. It took them over 4 hours but they were very thorough, even cleaning the windows and taking down light fixtures and cleaning them under hot water. When they were finished,
Houston Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
even performed a walk though, noticed a chair that was left un-dusted, and called them back to clean it. Her team was excellent and professional. They don't usually service my area so they may not come out to me again, but I would highly recommend them if your house needs sanitized cleaning. They are slightly more expensive than other services but worth every penny if you have a big job.

"they were very responsive to my call, but they did not arrive at the time they said they would. That was problematic, as I had arranged for a friend to meet them there and let them in. They cleaned the apartment well and thoroughly but left things out on the furniture and floor that they had removed from closets in order to clean there. It seemed almost like they were in a hurry to leave. Considering the amount of the fee - the same amount I pay to the service that cleans my 2400 sq ft house - they should have had plenty of time."

"Left 3 messages for this woman to call me for servivces to clean my home. She never bothered to call. She needs to be removed from Angies List."
