The service was fantastic, as the technician took the time to buy white wiring that matches my walls and run it nearly 60 feet so I have cable in a discreet location. You can barely tell the unit is hanging on the wall.

Installation was good. Had the installers run and install a new
for the current cable service since we kept if for internet. They were quick, professional and we've had no problems.

I was very impressed at the level of detail the installers went to to ensure that we understood how the system works. The two installers did a very professional job at a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend them.

The technician was prompt, polite, and professional. He gave me options of where/how he could install the satellite. He was knowledgeable and even helped me lift a heavy 55' television onto the tv stand. I have ordered two movies and the customer service reps over the phone are always great. There's no waiting and NO Machines! I LOVE That!!!...More />

My huge problem with
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
is the signal. When there is a dark enough cloud in the sky, the signal is disrupted. It was fine at first because you can still watch dvr'd shows without a signal. However, it is football season and it is rainy season and I am not looking forward to having this service over the next few months.

Their service is good but their prices are high. I haven’t used any other providers so I can’t tell exactly about the price. Ever so often they seem to find a way to increase the price. They always come in with a low price and they kind of add up in 6 months. I think the price is a little too much for the 3 services but that might be the going rate. The service is good.

I call them for an estimate to mount my tv on the wall for me. I told them that I have the tv, and the wall mount for the wall, but I need someone to install my wall mount for me. They told to install my wall mount the service fee will be &299. Which is a redicously price they given me. So just to put my wall mount on my wall will cost me $300, what an insult they did. I will never call them ever again and recomand you to do the same or they will give you an out ragouse price.

Everything went wonderfully! We just moved into a new place and needed a flat screen installed on our living room wall.
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
was quick to respond to my initial phone call; he quickly scheduled a time to come out and look at what we wanted done, as well as discuss additional potential options (surround sound, etc.). He presented all of the options clearly, in a way that made sense, and gave me an approximate price for each one.

On the day of installation,
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
and his assistant arrived on time. They wall-mounted the TV, moved a cable outlet over so it was

behind our TV console, hooked up our cable box and our new Blu-

(which we purchased from Media Technologies), ran a wiring conduit so that the wires could be

behind the wall, drilled a hole in the back of our console and hid all of the components (cable box, Blu-

, internet router, etc.) in the console. They also installed an infrared remote kit on the cable box and blue

so that we can use our regular remote controls without having to open the doors on the console. They cleaned everything up and made sure everything was perfect and that I was happy with the job before they left.

Everything looks wonderful! We couldn't be happier with our new TV setup. Although we didn't do surround sound or otherwise trick everything out right now, we'll definitely call Media Technologies when we do!

My experience has been absolutely miserable. Even though multiple technicians have diagnosed the problem as outside my home, the company insists I be at home for a service call. I have lost innumberable hours of work without the company resolving the problem. About a week ago I asked for a credit on my bill for the lack of service and was told that a supervisor would call me. I have not heard back from them.

Our family has a long and unhappy history with
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
. Rather than bore you with all the stories, I will relate just the latest two. We had
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
at home "A" when that home was destroyed. We moved into temporary home "B", an apartment about half the size of "A." Needless to say, the apartment was full of boxes and we could hardly move.
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
sent out an installer to "B" and who, for the sake of clarity, will be called Installer "B." He was to hook up a TV and a computer. Within a few months, we bought home "C" and moved. Installer "C" hooked up a TV and a computer at the new home. Soon after our moving into "C",
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
called, from Atlanta, and told me I needed to turn in my old TV box. I told them the installer took it. Atlanta then routinely called me every week, speaking politely but nonetheless harassing me. I called the Houston office which showed NO extra equipment out in my name. Atlanta continued to call and I continued to assume they did not know what they were talking about. I just referred them to the Houston office. One night, I had one of the frequent TV service problems with
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
. I had a picture on my TV, but no sound. For two weeks, I repeatedly called
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
and was taken through a series of futile exercises by polite but incompetent
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
service people. After two weeks, I finally reached a guy who knew his stuff. "Unhook the box", said the competent service person. He remained on the line while I removed the VCR from the top of the TV box (where it had been placed by Installer "C"), pulled out the TV box and began swearing. I assured the competent person that I was not swearing at him. After disconnecting the TV box completely (cable and power) and waiting a minute, I hooked it back up. The sound was on and I thanked the competent person. (From past experience, I knew not to fight with
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
over a credit for the two weeks.) The reason I had been swearing was because removing the VCR and TV box revealed that in the back of the deep, dark compartment of my entertainment center was TV box "B", where Installer "C" had left it. I called
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
the next day and explained what happened. Trying to be cheerful, I said "bet you've never heard of that before." The service woman dryly said, "Actually, I have. There have been a few times I know of when servicemen have done that." After a few months of peace, I receive a call from a polite
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
service person. They wanted the modem I had at home "B". "Your serviceman took it," I said. "Do you have a receipt?" they said. "That was A YEAR AGO. I have no idea where the receipt is, and you shouldn't be bugging me about something you haven't followed up on in a year." So they turned me over to a collection agency which has polite bill collectors who call every Sunday evening. I tell them the whole story about the TV box and that
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
waited over a year to contact me about the modem. "
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
is incompetent!" I say. The bill collectors say something like "I hear that a lot." Yesterday, I found my electronics box (yes, we still have some unpacked boxes). There, in the box, was modem "B", not only still in its original bag, but still in its shrink-wrap (see photo of modem 001F3A8AD8B2). There was also a receipt, dated 7/28/09, showing modem "B" (see photo) as "ISS" (issued) and my modem "A" as "RET" (returned). (How the modem got into the box is not a mystery. The serviceman stuck my receipt in the zip bag containing modem "B" and its accessories, then left it. My wife probably assumed it was something I left out and she dropped it into my electronics box. This system keeps her from getting mad at me and I know where to look for wires, plugs, etc., but NOT cable equipment.) What the intact shrink wrap means is that modem "B" was never installed. (When you pay for installation, "issued" means installed, right?)
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
also knew this, just as they knew Installer "B" had hooked up modem "A" at home "B". You see, all
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
equipment sends a signal back to their offices that tells them exactly which piece of equipment you have, right down to the serial number. If modem "B" had been hooked up, they would have been receiving this signal for about six months and no signal from modem "A". As far as
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
knew, their installers had lost or stolen the equipment. However, it was easier to blame me and try to shake me down for the cost. If you are wondering why I still use
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
, it is only because of the City of Houston. They gave
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
a monopoly. You can get satellite, you can get service over your phone line, but only
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
is allowed to sell true, high-speed cable. Early next week I will be able to return the modem to
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
. The receipt will not only be scanned into my computer, it will be preserved forever.

Did not go well. The first two appointments were missed altogether. No phone calls. After the first missed appointment I called the company, was told that I did not have an appointment! They set up another for 3 days in advance. They missed that one too. The third time I threatened to report this to the Management Association and use any influence I might have to get a new cable company when our contract comes up for renewal. I have neglected to do this but definitely will do so in the near future. When they finally came out, he discovered it was the remote and not the DVR (much to my delight). Therefore everything I had saved was not lost. They did give me a small credit for missing the appointments - as I remember it was $15 or $20.00. I mentioned that my 1997 Sony sometimes had "snow" for a few seconds at times when I first turn it on and occasionally after it has been on for a while. These are short spurts. I wondered if I need to replace the TV. I mentioned that the Sony VHF Recorder (old, top of the line) has never worked fully because
Houston Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
couldn't get it set up properly. They said it wasn't compatible with their equipment. He advised disconnecting it would stop the "snow". He did - and it did not. TV is still going strong 7 months later. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND ONLY USE I BECAUSE OUR MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION MUST GET A VERY GOOD CONTRACT PRICE TO HAVE RETAINED OUR BUSINESS FOR 5+ YEARS.
