"He saved my life. I was sent to a hospital and misdiagnosed twice and I went back to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital and Dr. was on" duty in the emergency room. I would recommend him. What he basically does is offering people to make their stomach smaller. I was in his office and people told me how they lost so much weight that they didn't have to take diabetes medicine anymore and stuff like that. He did save my life so I would recommend him. He looked at the x- and he knew instantly what was wrong with me which was wonderful. He absolutely saved my life because I was dying. The staff were fine.

"I did weight, however the woman who runs that portion of their services is awful. She is condescending and rude and not particularly helpful." Not only that but I sometimes had to wait up to an hour past my appointment time for my weekly "counseling sessions". When I went for my final check up, after dropping 40 lbs., their "counselor" told me I was still "grossly overweight" (I wasn't) and tried to sell me more of the program. I will never go back.

Bariatric reviews in Houston

Everything was explained in great deal. He and his staff were very professional, knowledgable and upbeat. The surgery was virtually painless for me (it felt similar to when I had my gallbladder removed). I highly recommend him.

I decided to join the gym after my friend told me she went here. It is small and not always busy like Onelife where I used to go. The gym equipment is more than adequate and they show you how to use everything. They were very friendly and answered all of my questions.

THEIR FACILITY. Pay the extra ad go to the hospital. And the hospital is
safer (think ).
I would recommend you BEWARE of their assessment of your insurance all ...More
together. I was told that the procedure would not be covered under my
insurance. So I put the cost (approx $14,000) on a credit card. Eight
months later I contact my insurance about my sleeve procedure and THEY
WOULD COVER IT. So I filed a claiM...only to be told by Dr 's
jOURNEYLITE office that the procedure was actually $38,000 (they were
giving me a "bargain" at $14,000 because the insurance would not pay)
and any more $$ that my insurance paid they would take. This is AFTER I
PAID $14,000. They did refund approx $4000 from the "Dr " side of
this facility, but the surgical part they re-billed as $38,000 when I
requested they send the info to my insurance
It's a scam. I also have Medicare but they did not process my claim thru Medicare.
If I were to do it again I would go to the one at .

Staff was friendly and professional. Wait time for my appointment was about 5-10 min while I filled out my paperwork. No up sells or gimmicks. Only treatments tailored to my weightloss needs. Reasonably priced compared to other places in town. What can I say, I lost a lot of weight so I'm happy! The physicians are great and seem to really care.
- Karyn E.

Well, my reason for going in was to just talk to physician about my weight loss options. What I got was my name called, then they took my blood pressure, temp, weight. Next thing I know they say $99.95. The next step was blood work (which I've never heard the results) and an ekg (they asked my if I've ever had an abnormal one). After looking ...More at it for a while I asked if it was ok and they said "yea, it was just too close to your phone". After that the Dr came in (never made eye contact). Rambled off a bunch of stuff, wrote 2 prescriptions, and sent me on my way. This is a pill mill and they do not make the patients safety their number one priority like it should be.
- angela R.

The whole office is amazing, especially with handling insurance paperwork. I had previously seen 3 other doctors and they couldn't get things done like Dr. ' office could. She is very friendly and spends time answering all my questions. Because of this great patient care, she is not always punctual for appointments. ...More Their follow-up care is great and I can call anytime.
- Julie M.

that day - and he would be on vacation starting the next day. I obviously did not reschedule - went to the program at Unity - which couldn't ahve been more friendly. I have advised my benefit provider with this feedback on which I was told I was not the first - and they have since stopped recommending that office. If you don't mind going ...More through like a sheep - try it - he is said to be one of the best - however - if you have a quesiton - it is "buyer beware!".
- Sherry P.

They were pretty good. My physician recommended them to me. It was pretty easy. If you don't like meat and like carbs it is not the diet for you. The weight just came off. It worked. It is a regular doctor's office. There are two doctors and they are really nice. You pay as you go. The people behind the desk were really nice too. I met my goal.
