Reviews for Houston Acupuncturists

"I began seeing Dr. Jia over a year ago after a long-term illness which had me bedridden for over a year. When I first saw him, I required help just to stand and walk, had no sustainable energy, and suffered from migraines and long-term depression. Acupuncture was a last-ditch effort, after nothing else had worked. I don't think I really thought it would do much to help.
Dr. Jia was able to stop the migraines I had suffered for 16 years within 4 weeks; I have not had a single migraine since. Within 2 months, I was able to stand and walk independently, and allowed to drive again after 6 months. I was able to completely do without anti-depressants within 2 months, and he continues to treat and monitor me for that once a week. He has also helped me with other things, like aches and pains from arthritis, as necessary.
He is a very caring and compassionate person, and I don't know what I'd do without him; he literally saved my life! I would recommend him to anyone who is considering trying acupuncture.

"I paid my copay. I think his everyday charge is between $45-$75. He was recommended. He is awesome, he has a lot of different kinds of treatment styles and he's very effective."

Houston Acupuncturists Reviews

"The doctors there are husband and wife. They are a very sweet couple. I have been going to them for years. I think they do a superior job in that skill. I keep going back. You pay for each treatment. They are very helpful if you want to submit it to your insurance."
"I have been to her twice and she is fabulous. She's very personable, she listens to you and she doesn't try to push you into something you don't want to do. I just find her very easy to talk to. I've never had acupuncture before and I am really, really enjoying my treatments. There is no pain and you leave feeling really relaxed. The office is small, but it's intimate and comfortable. She is Chinese and all things considered she communicates very, very well. I am going to continue to see her for the next 6 months, she's very reasonable and her staff is really nice and small. "

has a lot of experience and apparently very successful stories but his treatment did not work with me. He prescribes a 5 consecutive sessions, so I spent around $450 overall, and after that I realized the treatment had produce no changes. In addition, I'm not a very big fan of the technique that uses electrodes on the acupuncture needles, which Dr.
