"Arrived at Dr.'s office on-time, signed in and waited 40 minutes to be seen. Was placed in exam room where I waited another 20 minutes for Dr. When I was seen," his exam went fine-took about 5 minutes.

"I have been a patient of his since about 2008. He does my diabetic foot checks. I originally saw him for a recurring ingrown toenail. We discussed removing the big" toenail, but I am chicken. In January 2014, I had a blister that opened and got infected. Because of a long weekend, by time I got to a doctor, it was not good. On Tuesday, Dr.
debrided it and we bandaged it. We had to wait 4 days for the test results to come back. Over the week, a "growth" appeared, starting at the blister
and going up between my big toe and first toe. It looked like a bubble. On Friday, I saw Dr.
again. He popped the bubble off my foot. It was a dry shell, but between my toes, the bacteria had started to
about 1/2" into my foot. When the test results were faxed to him, they showed a staph infection which resisted most meds. I was immediately sent to the hospital to have a pic line put in and started daily IV therapy, which lasted 3 weeks. Monday was a holiday. By time I got back to him on Tuesday, the hole in my foot was 2" down in. We knew we had to schedule surgery for Thursday. It was done in the surgery center which is across the patio from his office. Every one was very friendly and efficient. Everything was explained to me in detail, often with me asking more questions. I sat in the waiting room about 15 minutes. I was taken to the prep room where my vitals and any other information was gathered. They even did a baseline EKG for me. Soon his assistant showed up and asked if I had any questions. Dr.
had explained it quite well. The anesthesiologist came in and told me what he would be doing. I was in there about 30 minutes. He had an intern working with him, and both Dr.
and the intern checked me. I was wheeled in to the operating room. I was not put to sleep (my choice), but was given meds to calm me. They opened my foot between the toes and cut straight down 3". They pulled the toes apart. They debrided the wound, flushed it with saline and packed the wound, then put two stitches to prevent the toes from separating. He bandaged it and followed me to recovery. He checked on me frequently. I was in recovery one hour. One week later, I was back to have the foot stitched up. Same procedure. I was turned over to wound care at the hospital where i stayed for 6 weeks. I finally got back to Dr.
to have him look at his handiwork. I have called him in a panic when I find any little cut on my feet. He responds as quickly as he can, usually between patients. The day after my surgery, I called in a panic because I was having pain around my ankle. I have peripheral neuropathy and I never had this kind of pain. At 9 am, I called the office. He answered immediately and told me it was from the tourniquet they used in surgery and to take my neuropathy meds.

has excellent bedside manner. He's patient and kind, explains everything in a

and unrushed manner and puts the patients mind at ease. Dr. K. turned an experience I was dreading into a fairly pleasant pain relieving experience that he performed effortlessly as only a Dr. with great skill can. He's my podiatrist for life and I highly recommend him.

Dr

was very dismissive of my injury and blamed it on my shoes. I tried to show him my orthotics which clearly showed where my foot sat on the device. He did not approach or even try to see the impression my foot made on the orthotic. He just reached for his

of stick on fabric, cut a crude piece off, slapped it on the orthotic and said try this for two weeks.
He also stated there was nothing that could be done to correct my hammer toes. Not true. There is surgery available for treatment of this condition. He obviously did not care about my pain or that I could not walk without pain. I asked if there were any exercises or stretching I could do at home to help heal the plantar fasciitis. . Complete crap. I am now seeing an Orthopedic Dr. He prescribed a different type of orthotics, and physical therapy, which after the first visit, I feel some relief and I have some stretching and strengthening exercises to do at home.
don't waste you time or money.

Dr.

is the best doctor I've ever been to in my life. He performed surgery on my foot after 10 other doctors said their was no

of fixing my foot. I wasn't able to wear closed shoes because of a bunyon growth. I was referred to Dr.
Greensboro Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
and he reshaped my foot and took care of the bunyon so my foot is perfect. My toes don't stick in the air anymore and the painful bunyon is gone. He put a plate in my foot and medicated me properly so I could tolerate the pain after surgery. He is a good hearted person and the best surgeon I've ever been to. I would've said it was impossible for me to have a perfect foot before but he was able to fix my foot. No one should ever use another foot surgeon than Dr.

He treated the warts with wart removal cream and acid. Neither treatment worked. He kept having me go back treating them the same way. The warts spread and grew. I ended up with several warts. It was like the treatment was causing more growth!! I was in great pain and could not put pressure on the balls of my feet. Had to walk on my heels. He would not listen to my complaints. I asked for some other treatment like freezing them off but he would not consider it. After over three months of this, the warts had multiplied. I finally went to another doctor that actually treated the warts the right way and I am now pain and wart free. Needless to say I could have saved a lot of money, time and pain if I had gone to see a Podiatrist that knew what he was doing to begin with!! I would not recommend anyone to Dr.

Overall visit went well. I've used over 5 different podiatrists in three different states in last 15 years and Dr.

appeared to be on
Greensboro Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
with some of the best and I was looking for a doctor I can stay with during my retirement. I do not let people work on my feet that I do not trust.and I feel comfortable with Dr.
Greensboro Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
. Dr
Greensboro Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
spent more time than I thought he would to discuss various issues and he seems to take a very practical and cost effective approach to maintaining feet health. That is really all I can ask from a doctor because I know most of getting good results is up to me. His office was busy, but that just tells me he is in demand and they seemed to handle the work load effectively. The nail technician was in the office and did my toes very quickly and effectively. When you get older and are diabetic you appreciate nail and foot care more than ever and I was well satisfied.

My mother went to him as well for a number of years. She went to another podiatrist before that and I felt that the older doctor wasn't quite as aggressive in treating my mother's foot problems because she had toenail fungus. The other doctor was much more thorough and when my mother came out of there she was very happy. She felt much better. He got me medicine for my toenail fungus and he also cut my nails for that problem. He treated my toenails, fungus and calluses. I thought I probably need to see him again for calluses when I get back to Main. He was very good. My mother was 103 years old and she was very happy with him. I just trusted and him I'm very happy with him as well. He's very professional and very busy. The office is always full of people. His staff is very nice too. They're very accommodating to my mother. It's very easy to change appointments when my mother couldn't go out because of snow.
