In general we were pleased with the work. We met with
and felt confident enough to go to Europe while he did this construction on our house. And the work itself we are pretty happy with. However, we feel the job never really got finished.
The job went overtime by several months. To be fair, the weather last summer was terrible, and some framing that had to be done was delayed repeatedly because of weather. But when we returned from Europe we hoped that the job would be complete in a a few weeks or a month. But the last items to be done just never got done.
We also had a problem with moisture in the house on our return. It was a pretty serious problem I think that must have been caused by excessive moisture in the house during construction. We found there was mold under all the wool carpets. Also there was water damage to a section of the wood floor near the front door. We washed all the carpets and fixed the problem at our own expense.
Almost a year later -we still have a key holder lock on our door that was never removed.
-the range hood in our kitchen has never properly worked,
-and the ceiling crack in the living room which was supposed to be fixed has cracked again ( at the time
said he though t that the people who came to do it did not in fact do it properly, but that if it cracked again to just call him.
We have exchanged probably 20 emails with
. Each time he says he will fix these things but then does not contact us when he says he will.
During the job,
was not very responsive . We were in Europe and wondering how things were going. We send email asking how things were going and often it took a week before he replied. He would say that he would get back to us in a day or so but that stretched into weeks.
had told us that if we didn't hear from him once a week or so then we should definitely send email. So we did that. But in the end the communication was not good.
Right now I feel even to get the key holder off the front door I will have to contact a lock
So we generally went from being very happy with
to feeling quite disappointed.

This was the second bathroom we used Rebath of the Triad to help us remodel. In our first bath we had them come in and replace our very old tub and moldy tile with a beautiful new shower. We were impressed with the professionalism of the installer, the speed and care at which he worked and how well he cleaned up each day. And, we LOVED our new shower. It is beautiful and so easy to clean. So, when it was time to remodel our second bath we did not hesitate to call Rebath of the Triad again and we were not disappointed. With the second installation in our upstairs bath we had a problem with the drain and the installer actually put a small whole in our ceiling downstairs. He and the rest of the Rebath team were wonderful. Not only did we get a beautiful new tub that we love, they fixed our ceiling to our satisfaction and were very responsive and professional. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors every
we get.

We have learned a lot. Many delays in getting project begun, 3 months went by. Then when ready, we were informed that a
new contractor would be doing the job. This proved to be a good happning for us.
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was very upfront with all and honored all
The that th original contract had. All work done was done well with few glitches. The only complaint was that it took much too long,
2.5 months for "a small job" they kept telling us, but there were many days that no work at all was done. At the beginning w were t
that once our job was begun, it would be two weeks, as they would be doing our job and not any others. So this did not happen
and we still have one more week to finish. We are however confident that all will be completd to our satisfaction.
e We were also given some money for us doing the tile demo work, during the

time to get started. That was fair and made us
very happy.

This is our 3rd time hiring
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. We have always been pleased with their work. The owner,
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, is great to work with. He is friendly and knows his stuff. We just purchased a 2200 square foot townhouse which needed some updating. We had

remove the textured ceiling in all the rooms and paint everything - walls, trim, ceiling and kitchen cabinets. We also had them create a walk-through from the livingroom to the sunroom to improve the flow and they installed an opening with a door to access a storage area under the stairs. They installed light fixtures and changed out most of the switches and outlets. Everything was done in a timely manner and any extra details that we requested were addressed promptly. We also felt that their pricing is very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement jobs.

I conacted Mr.
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to come with me to a visit to the property in order to give me an estimate for the rehab. He was extremely nice, He informed me he was a General Contractor by trade and during the conversation I could tell that he was very professional. We discussed the modification of the staircase in this townhouse. I wanted to change the direction on how the staircase went up to the 2nd floor. He informed my that he had been the project manager for Tuscany ( townhouse community) I was interested in purchasing. He advised me that he was very familiar with the construction and possible modifications that could be performed.
Unfortunately after several attempts back and forth Mr.

was extremely helpful and patient with me as I tried to schedule (3 times showings). I scheduled and cancelled, rescheduled and cancelled 3 times. He never got impatient or told me I was wasting his time.
I would definitely hire him to perform any renovations. He seemed very accommodating, very responsive and appeared to know a lot about construction.

For a project as extensive as this one was, it went very well. Ed and
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
very carefully explained every step that we should expect, and the most likely, unexpected issues, that typically would be expected in a home of this age. They even explained the difference in quality of the minor details (faucets, etc.). They would explain the what and why of change orders, and the prices were very fair. I would use

again in a heartbeat.

This company is a complete rip off. They do NOT do what they say; they do NOT do good work; they contract out jobs to unqualified crews; they use poor materials; they NEVER show up when they say they will. DO NOT uses

corporation. We ended up finishing the job ourselves and are living with some of their costly mistakes!

A week before the cabinets were scheduled to ship from the factory they began demolition. The old wood flooring was especially difficult to remove because it had been glued to the sub floor. But demo was finished in 3 days. The electricians came in during demo and installed the wiring and recessed lights. Part of the demo process involved removing the existing quartz countertops (Zodiac) and setting them aside for reinstallation on the new cabinets. After the electricians finished the drywall contractor came in and repaired the sheetrock Once all demo was complete, the flooring contractor came in and prepped the subfloor for ceramic tile and installed the tile floor. This was all done in the span of one week.
The second week involved
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
coming back and installing the new cabinets. Once the cabinets were set in place the countertop contractor came back and reinstalled the old countertops. We could not be happier with the overall job.
I have one complaint which which was taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction. It involved the flooring contractor applying a sealer to the entire ceramic tile floor. We expected he would just seal the grout lines. The sealer he used imparted a semi gloss
Greensboro Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to the floor that we did not like at all. Once he was informed he came back and stripped the sealer from the floor and reapplied grout sealer to the grout lines.
The overall project took 3 weeks from start of demo to having a fully functional kitchen.
During the bidding process we asked for estimates of time involved and Triad estimated 2-3 weeks. They would have finished in 2 weeks had the flooring contractor not had to come back and strip the sealer off the tile. The other contractor we interviewed estimated the project to take 4-6 weeks and his price was approx $10K higher than Triad's for the same statement of work using comparable quality cabinets.
We are very happy with the work done and would recommend Triad Cabinets to our friends.
