"We were scheduled for Monday between 9-11am, tech showed up around 10:00am and quickly inspected the units. He shut the one unit down because it was frozen and said he would return the next day to inspect it further. I am not sure what I was paying for at this point, but if I would of known their inspection involved looking at the unit, coming in the house and seeing that it wasn't working, I probably would of said we don't need your services.
On Tuesday the technician was a no Show. I called the offices later in the afternoon and was told that "He...something something something.... Oh he will be there in the morning"
On Wednesday morning I left the house at 10:30pm since I could not wait there all day. The technician showed up in the afternoon took a look at the unit that was not working and gave us a quote for $5800 to replace the unit. He then charged a $69.95 site inspection fee. What was that for? Called the office that night asking what in the world is going on and why did you charge me for something that was already prepaid.
said, "We are so sorry, I will make sure that the check doesn't go through or get deposited". So after that experience you would think that I was disappointed enough.
The following Wednesday, the $69.95 is deposited and hits my bank.
So you want to know how you did?
I will not do business with you ever again, nor would I want to do business with any of my family or friends. There exist no value or moral to what appears to be a QUICK BUCK. Have fun with my $170 dollars.
As far as your quote - its high.
As far as showing up on time - your consistently late.
The technicians must not be told how the payment is to be made or what they are showing up for, that makes you unorganized.
As far as telling customer what you think they want to hear - your spot on! I wanted to hear that I was going to get good service.
I feel as if I did not receive a good customer service.
I feel as if I did not receive a good technical service.
I feel as if I did not receive a good value for the money you received.
I was overcharged. I was made false promises that were not kept.
The owner is out of town so they can't issue a refund. They did let me speak to the technician.....
The technician said...."he felt as though he did a good a thorough job."
Your business is going to fail.
If your a customer that wants trustworthy service. This is NOT the place to call.

was the third company we called but the only company who could come out the same day. I asked for a phone call when the technician was getting close to the house as I was at work. Rod
Greensboro HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called, asked if 30 minutes was enough time for me to get home, and we wound up arriving there at the same time. Rod was very professional and friendly, even on the hottest day of the year. He discovered that it was simply a tripped breaker' however, he took the time to explain to me how that is a symptom of a bigger problem and that the repair work done by another company 8 months ago was not quite up to par. Once the unit was blowing cool air, Rod asked if he could check the attic and drip

to ensure that the ceiling wouldn't flood. I great appreciate him taking the extra step to check the attic (where it was HOT!!!)

"Quality wise
Greensboro HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a very good company. They are very professional, communicated very well and showed up on time. The technician was skilled and enjoyed explaining things regarding A/C functioning and their services. He also cleaned the external unit better than his well-known competitor did last year.
My only complaing is regarding cost, especially on the Freon side as there isn't much difference on cost per Lb after first pound. Last year I paid overall 50% less for the same service and to get the same outcome (my A/C worked as it is doing now). That time I got a sale price on the Tune-up (50% off) and the Freon was about 40% less after the 1st pound.
I was aware of their price as they did very well on the communication, nonetheless, I decided I would give it a shot and change provider this time as I had issues with appointments cancelled last minute with the previous contractor as well as to see if I would eventually get something else out of this service, but I didn't figure it out other than the better unit clean-up.
Bottom line, Yes I would definitely use them again, but will make sure I shop around for prices before taking a decision.

"I called their office at around 9am today, spoke to Sassie
Greensboro HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, who checked the work log, and after finding we live in Green Valley said she a man who would be in our area 3 hours later, around noon. At 11:30 I got a call from "

" saying he'd be at the house about 12:10... He was a minute early.
After inspection he said a capacitor had failed and that it should fix the air, at least short term. The air conditioner is the original equipment from when the home was built in the mid-60's.

was very professional, easy to talk to, and engaging. I'll be calling this company with any future needs in this area.

"I have used this company for several years after having one bad experience after another from other big name companies. I feel so fortunate to have found them!! They are honest and do their best to fix your heating/air problem. Other companies just try to sell you a new unit....I know! I had a new unit put in by another company several years ago and the air conditioning would never cool. After that company went out of business I tried 3 other big name companies that just wanted to sell me a new unit. One even told me I had a leak under the house. Through Angie's List I found
Greensboro HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and feel so blessed to finally have an honest company to do business with. It turned out that a part on the inside unit needed to be replaced. The approximate cost was $200. It was also recommended that I turn the thermostat to keep the fan running during the summer months. This helps to circulate the air throughout the house. The men that come out have always been very professional and are very well trained in their field. Now I let them do a tune-up twice a year on the heating and cooling units.

Greensboro HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was first contacted in October 2012 as part of an Angies Big Deal A/C tuneup for 49 dollars. I thought the work they did was outstanding and I subsequently initiated an annual maintenance contract with them. At the time of the awful Polar Vortex and its terribly cold weather in January 2014 the heat went out on the first floor. To make matters worse, I had pneumonia.

came to the house the day I called, ordered the needed part, and had the system functioning perfectly. They are highly competent, courteous, and efficient.

is an outstanding family-owned business (I mistakenly thought that it was a franchise) and they take great pride in their work and customer satisfaction. I'm currently selling my house and will enthusiastically recommend

"Everything went really well. When they came to give us the estimate to replace our a/c we also asked for an estimate to replace our furnace too. They gave us a price for both options but advised us that gas furnaces typically last approx 20 years and ours was only 11 years old. They would replace our furnace if we wanted them to but we would essentially be spending money unnecessarily. We had gotten estimates from other hvac co's and they were much higher and told us that we had to replace our furnace to make it compatible with the new a/c unit.

"The provider arrived on time. He asked what the problem was. He provided a few options for service. One was purchasing a new air conditioning unit ($4000 to $5000). He shared the pros and cons with having a leak

, providing a potentially temporary repair, and buying a new unit. He was professional in his interactions.
