"Overall it went well.

came out for the quote and is just great. She is always available by phone as well. Once selected it was around a month before they could get to me. The same three guys showed up every day and worked hard all day. They spoke very little English so I felt I was doing charades much of the time and some communications were not received.

They did a great job on the trim and sanding down my 80 year old shutters. They even put some putty in the cracks. They really do look better than I had hoped for. I wish they had allowed them to dry fully before rehanging them. Once up they put them behind the sashes and I'm sure if I were to undo the sashes it would take the paint right off with it as they have dried together now. We provided all new hardware for our shutters and they hung that as well. The replacement hardware pieces (both male and female) are a bit shorter than the originals but they made it work and it looks great. There was a bit of overspray right beside the front door which I really regret. When I pointed it out he just shrugged. A different crew came in to fix the trim in one place. The worked quickly and did a great job matching the old trim design. They did not remove plug covers or a hanger from my screen porch, painting over the former and around the latter. When I asked them to remove the hanger and paint the wall he started painting the wooden hanger. We were able to get it corrected. On the wooden part of the job, they did not get up under the eves where the wood overlaps in some places resulting in a sort of striped look. I asked them to come back and fix and they did mostly. Overall really good job and I am pleased with the finished product. I did not feel like I had much input into what they were doing and they seemed annoyed with me when I pointed out things I wanted fixed or tried to direct them. The quote said they would clean all my windows after the work was done but they did not and I didn't want to nit pick.

"The whole process went very well with a few bumps for me that they helped smooth out. We started out by power washing the whole house. They even powerwashed my front porch and my plastic chairs I had on the front porch, as well as the concrete around the back door and front walk. It looked beautiful when they were done.
Next they set about repairing a leaking dining room window. They were able to fix it rather than replace it, which saved us alot of money there. Then as the painting began we found a lot more rotted wood and 5 more windows that they again were able to repair so I did not have to replace them. And these were Major repairs! They had to replace all the sills in these wondows as well as some side panels. These are the bumps I spoke of earlier. There was alot of rot that had to be replaced that we did not originally see. But there are always unforeseen things that pop up when you do any project.
During this whole time I had a Japanese hornets nest in the upper story of the roof by my bathroom window. I had Terminex simutanously taking care of this at the same time as the repairs are going on. They came 3 days in a row, drilled holes all over the walls in my bathroom and shot poison into them. It only outraged them. They were suppose to come back on Friday. Never heard from Terminex again and they never showed up again. And they NEVER got up on a ladder to deal with them even after being offered one by the contractors. It was finally when the painting progressed to that area that the painters themselves went up on a ladder and shot the hornets with a can of hornet spray and killed them!!!!!! They then filled the hole with expanding foam, patched it up and painted it. I was told the queen eventually came out and was the size of a humming bird! They went way above and beyond the call of duty here!!! There was also a yellow jackets nest on the other side of the house they also took care of for me. They also changed a lightbulb in a motion light that was too high for me. Many things that really meant alot to me.
The rest of the job went very smoothly and I am very happy with how my house turned out. It is very bright and clean and my neighbor told me it brightens up the whole cul de sac!! I know my house is good to with stand the weather for the next 10 years or more now. I plan to call this contractor back to have them

the ceramic tile in my bathroom floor.

"Asked for quote via the internet sign up.
Took a little longer than expected to get a response and appointment set up.
My wife met them for the appointment and went over our requirements for the job.
Quote received was a bit pricey as compared to the others and not really detailed enough making it difficult to accurately compare. We chose another service provider.

"Their quote came in considerably lower than the other company I contacted. A third company never bothered to return my call for a quote. They had been highly recommended to me by a neighbor who has used them for multiple projects over the last nine years. They were prompt with the quote, did a great job and were finished in a single day, did clean-up to the extent where the place looked better than it did before they arrived. The crew was polite and efficient, and very professional. I am definitely planning on using them again, for painting as well as siding work. "

is the consummate professional. His knowledge with paint was a very pleasant surprise as he knew that we were attempting to keep our overall price down..he was able to use what we had and even mixed some of the paints (creating a "new" color from the original) doing an excellent job with the interior bedroom/home office. Talk about professionalism...he started on the arbor over the rear deck..didn't like how it was covering and recommended another color, which necessitated his going back to the store. It turned out to be a great decision! He also included several projects at no charge...he repaired and repainted our front and side doors and painted the ramp to our outside storage shed.

cleaned up after himself and completed the job in a timely manner; even working on what is typically his "off" day to take advantage of the good weather in order to complete the exterior projects on time. We will highly recommend

Update: we had a minor problem with a couple of interior doors, not

returned and repaired the doors without charge and recommended that the hinges be adjusted to limit the problem going forward. Can't beat his service!

I asked Mr.

if he could fix some problems in my small home in order for me to turn it into a rental property. (I was a single mom and had purchased a 2-bedroom house before I remarried and we moved into my husband's house.) Mr.

offered a free estimate that was easy to understand, thorough and reasonably priced. Mr.

even helped me work out an agreeable payment plan (

began work in February of 2011 and the house was ready to rent mid-March. I was able to get my house rented for more than my original rent rate by April 1st! The response was overwhelming! Several couples who were interested in renting the house said it was one of the most beautiful rentals they had seen. I had 2 renters in line in case the first couple did not qualify!
Mr.

did a really quality job bringing out period details (the house was built in 1947) in his choices of neutral paints for the walls and moulding, painstakingly repairing and cleaning the mozaic tile floor (tiny, square tiles in an intricate black and white pattern) in the bathroom, and fine-tuning the landscaping to help the boxwoods and pre-established garden stand out along the main walk.
You always hope you can find a "service provider" that will treat your project with care and detail. I know I have a hard time choosing someone from a list in the yellow pages, internet searches, etc. that I can trust to do the whole job, a good job, not overcharge me, and someone you can count on. I have complete faith in Mr.

"A week before putting my house on the
Greensboro Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
I did a repair patch on the ceiling in my hallway and touched up the paint. To my dismay, the paint did not match so the entire hallway ceiling needed to be repainted! The owner of
Greensboro Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
came the next day and painted the entire hallway ceiling and a small bathroom for a very reasonable price and did an excellent job. The next week he and his crew painted my entire exterior, working between rain showers and doing what it took to get the job done and the for sale sign up in my yard on time. It looks awesome and my house sold in 6 weeks!"
