"They had a really good selection of higher grade and exotic granite remnants in addition to the usual lower grade ones that you will see everywhere. Their price was quoted at approx. $100.00 less than most places in Greensboro. The problem was that when we went, there were some designers there picking out pieces for model homes and they were selecting all of the best remnants. Obviously this must be the norm because it seemed that all of the better pieces were already tagged. I guess if you time it just right you could probably find an awesome deal as they were busy and constantly putting out new remnants. It was just too far for us to drive to keep checking back to try and find specifically what we were looking for."

But they are very helpful and we found beautiful granite at a much more reasonable price than similar granite elsewhere. The measuring and installation went well, with them arriving on time each time. There was one mix up with a piece cut bigger than we had discussed, but they were very apologetic and were back the next day to put in the correct piece. They did an excellent job of color matching the grout and we are really pleased with the job."

Indianapolis homeowners seem to be following a new trend to trade in their quartz and tile countertops for much more durable granite. Dan Marsh, co-owner of A-rated Classic Stone in Carmel, says 75 percent of his countertop installations involve granite, a stone that not only withstands extreme heat but also doubles as a kitchen cutting board because it's nearly impossible to scratch. "As far as durability is concerned, granite far surpasses solid and laminate countertops," he says.
