They were prompt, professional, and quick. They obviously had a great deal of experience, because they used a rubber
to remove the legs, used padding when closing the lid, and knew to tie the body to the side of the truck. They also padded the bench and tied it down. At the new home, they used the padding to cover my new carpet, and were eager to place the piano exactly where I wanted it - even moving it a couple of inches each way when I requested it to be placed just a bit further to the left, and a bit closer to the wall. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Everything went as they said it would. They accomplished the move within the four hour window they had given me and they called me when they left the store to say they were on their way to my house. The piano had to go down a flight of stairs and they got it done without scratching any walls! I appreciated that the move could be done on a Saturday.

Crew of 3 arrived on-time. They wrapped piano, moved it, and unloaded it at the new location.
No problems encountered. This provider is a general moving company and not specifically into piano moving. That was fine for my needs as this was not an overly valuable piano.

Amazing! I had stressed about having to move my piano ever since I bought my new home because it is so old and is falling apart, but it is part of my childhood and has great sentimental value to my family and I. They quickly replied to my request for a quote, worked me in on the day I wanted to move it, showed up exactly on time, and instantly put my nerves at ease with their reassurance that they knew what they were doing. They were very gentle in putting the piano on their moving cart and got out the door, down the stairs, and into their truck by means that looked effortless to me. They then strapped it down so that it wouldn't move in transit and then got it into my new home in a matter of minutes. It is such a relief to have it moved into my home and I will definitely call them in the future if I need to move it again. Thank you so much for helping me!!!

We have an antique baby grand player piano. It has beautiful wood finish, delicate legs amd is extremely heavy due to the antique player mechanism. The piano movers did an excellent job both on the removal and return -- safeguarding the piano and our newly refinished walnut floors.

I needed to have an upright player piano moved from my house to storage on a specific date. I sent an email and was answered very quickly and arrangements were made to move the piano. The movers arrived on time and were very polite and efficient. The piano was moved very professionally and the whole thing took about 30-45 minutes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again when I am able to move the piano back to my new house (where there will be room for it).

I was considering buying a used baby grand from my friend's mother. I called
Grand Rapids Piano Movers Provider Name Locked
for a quote; they had a specific list of info they needed, which made it easy to get an estimate of 550-600. One of the factors they consider is how many steps they'll have to go up or down-- I couldn't guarantee the number of steps at the
Grand Rapids Piano Movers Provider Name Locked
house, since I'd only seen it once, but that's why they had to quote a range. After I agreed to buy the piano I called
Grand Rapids Piano Movers Provider Name Locked
to book a date; they had been very clear that it might be 7-10 business days before they could schedule a move, but were able to schedule it for the end of that week. They had a very clear contact system: they would call both me & my friend first thing on moving day (around 8-9am), and tell my friend the 2-hr window for pick-up, and tell me the 2-hr window for delivery. They would also call each of us about 10-15 min away so we'd be ready. Everything happened as promised. They were closer to the end of the delivery window than the beginning, but that wasn't surprising since it was a 2-hr drive, partly through Fri rush hour. They had a little trouble getting it through the doorway into our music room, because it's 4 steps down from the garage to the door, but that was my fault for not measuring it-- I only counted the steps. They realized immediately that it wouldn't clear if they slid it on skids, and changed to actually carrying it down. This wasn't a problem since they had 3 guys on the job. They put it back together quickly (you have to remove the lid, legs, and pedal lyre) and settled it into the exact spot I wanted. I thought they did a super job on all counts!
